Chapter 12- Forming a Man Hunt

"This is his usual hangout," Mako mumbled, as him and Korra were on Naga, searching for Bolin. Right before Mako could talk to anyone on the street, he and Korra heard two screeches and turned to see you and Pabu running up to them.
"Hey!" Korra yelped as you jumped into her arms, with her hugging you to comfort you.

"You and Pabu were the last ones with Bolin, what happened?" She demanded, with Pabu wrapping himself around Mako. You side eyed him before leaning close to Korea's ear.
"Some human named Shady Shin offered Boulder boy a lot of yuan if he did some work for him," You continued to whisper into her ear until she got enough information.

"She said he went with a guy called Shady Shin, and working with him for money. And something involving Triple Threats, Monsoons, and Agni Kai?" She explained to the other human, with a determined look.

"You got all of that from chirps and cooing?" He asked dumbfounded, cussing Korra to hesitate a little, but nodded.
"What's that about?" She asked another questioned, wanting to drift off your conversation.

"Sounds like there's a turf war brewing. And Bolin's about to get caught right in the middle of it,"

"So where're we headed?" Korra wondered as Naha raced down the empty street.
"The Triple Threat Triad's headquarters. Hopefully Bolin's there and nothing's gone down yet," Mako explained.

"The Triple Threat Triad? I beat up some of those yahoos when I got into town. Why would Bolin get tangled up with them?" Korra questioned, before Naga turned the street corner.

"We gotta hurry," And so, you all raced down the streets, stopping at an abandoned warehouse, you sniffed the air, trying to see if you could pick up the human's scent.

"Something's not right. There're usually thugs posted out front. We better be cautious," Mako whispered, sneaking around towards the door.

He motioned Korra and you to follow, before Korra simply kicked the door opened. The entire warehouse was empty, with furniture kicked around and destroyed.
"Bolin? You in here?" Mako called out, until you all heard an engine running.

Running to the back, you three saw a vehicle with four other motor vehicles. With the back door open, you saw Bolin and Shady Shin inside, tied and muffled.
"BOLIN!" Mako shouted, just as two masked figgrew threw cans, which exploded and emitted green smoke.

The smoke didn't effect you, just as Naga picked you three up and began to chase the masked humans. Korra tried to earthbend to block them, and Mako used firebending, but nothing worked.
Just as you got closer, two masked figures stopped and threw rope around Naga's legs, stopping the beast from running and crashed against the ground.

Korra and Mako fell, and began to attack the figures. Korra used firebending at one, but they avoided it and jabbed her arm, seemingly paralyzing her. The other did the same with Mako.

You watched Korra fight, her fighting technique, her movement, it reminded you of someone.

Someone spirited.

Someone named... who?

Then, Mako and Korra fell down as the figures got closer to capture them. You began to growl and hackles were raised. The ground began to shake, making the figures stop. You then charged at them, harshly stomping on the ground, and it split open, lava bursting out and landing in front of the figures.

They tried to jump away, but one got severely burnt on the leg and arm, making them scream in pain. You let out a screech as you tossed more lava towards them, which made them panic and throw smoke again, the uninjured picking the other up and driving away.

Korra and Mako struggled, but soon stood up as Korra tried to firebend.
"Ugh, I can't bend!" She hissed.
"Calm down, it'll wear off. Those guys were chi-blockers. They're Amon's henchmen," Mako explained.

"Amon? That anti-bending guy with a mask?" Korra asked him.
"Yeah, he's the leader of the Equalists," He nodded, while rubbing his wrists.
"What do they want with the Triple Threats?" The Avatar wondered.

"Whatever it is, can't be good," Mako said, but then groaned.
"Urgh, can't believe Bolin got himself into this mess!" He hissed in anger, so Korra placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Mako, we are going to save your brother. I promise you that," She said with determination. He slowly nodded as you all got back into Naga. She began to run around the city again, and night began to fade away with the sun rising.

"We've been out all night. No sign of him," Korra tiredly said.
"We've gotta keep looking. But where?" Mako continued to look around. Korra then perked up with a hopeful smile.

"I have an idea!" She explained, and steered Naga to a park, the same park you accidentally destroyed, with burnt grounds to prove it.
"The first day I got into town, I ran into an Equalist protester over there," Korra explained.

"And you think they'll know where Bolin is?" Mako asked, in slight hope.
"It's our only lead right now," She shrugged, and Naga laid down for them to rest against her.

You all sat in silence, with you curled up against Korea's lap, feeling her pet your head.
"Sooo... you want to talk about your lavabending Tiger monkey?" Mako suddenly said, making Korra freeze.

"Uhh... no?" You rolled your eyes at her answer.
"No animals can earthbend, other than Badgermoles and Flying Bisons, I have never heard of a tiger monkey ever bending," Mako pushed further, leaning close to you, about to lay his hand on your head.

"She's just special, okay?" Korra snapped, pulling you away, but then realized what she did.
"Sorry..." She mumbled, setting you down. You looked at Mako, and pressed your head against his hand, letting him pet your head.

"Anyways, we best get a little rest, I'll explain after we save Bolin," Korra mumbled, turning over.
"Yeah..." He nodded, before drifting to sleep. Pabu landed next to you and nuzzled against you, making you curl up with him.

"Equality now! Equality now! We want equality now!" A sudden shout jerked everyone awake, and you immediately stood up, letting Pabu fall on the ground.
"That's the guy," She claimed, causing the two to stand up and walk towards the man who was on a pedestal and megaphone.

"Amon calls you to action! Take back your city! It's time for the-" The man spotted Korra, and glared at her.
"It's you again! You cannot silence me, Avatar!" He shouted, but yelped in fair as Korra allowed you to destroy the megaphone.

"Shut your yapper and listen up. My friend got kidnapped by some chi-blockers. Where'd they take him?" She interrogated the guy, who crossed his arms.
"I have no idea what you're talking about!" He refused to answer.

"Oh, I think you do," She growled and  kicked the table upward, where she made flyers go everywhere. You looked down and picked some up with your mouth.

"Witness the Revelation tonight, nine o' clock". What's this "Revelation"?" Mako questioned him.
"Nothing that concerns the likes of you two!" He continued to not say anything, causing Korra to lift him up and motioned you to get ready to open your mouth and bite him.

"You better believe it concerns us. Spill it!" She threatened, with you pushing your teeth against his neck, making him cry out.

"No one knows what the Revelation is! And I have no idea what happened to your friend. But if he's a bender, then my bet is he's getting what's coming to him," He hissed out.
"Where's it happening?" Mako pushed further, before you all heard a whistle, and a policeman was running up.

"Hey! What's going on over there?" He shouted, making you run up Korea's shoulder.
"The Avatar's oppressing us. Help!" She dropped the man and turned to Mako.

"Let's scram,"
