Avery's P. O. V

     "Are you okay?", Agatha asked me as I laid on my cell mates bed.

     " I will be fine",I whispered.

    "That's not what I asked. I asked are you okay?", she asked again.

    " Not really but I will be fine",I said as I was shivering.

     "What happened? You have been like this for days now, should I call a doctor", she asked.

    " You have a phone?"I asked her.

     "Yes", she said.

     " Let me guess you have connection ",I said and she smiled.

   " You know me",she smiled.

    " Keep your phone on standby just in case of an emergency ",I said and she nodded.

    " But for real, should I call a doctor?",she asked again.

     "They will say the same old thing, its just fever",I said.

    " You have visitors ",a policewoman said.

    "Let her be, she's sick and won't be able to stand up.", Agatha said to the policewoman who seemed to be scared of her.
Who is she? How rich is her parents?

    " I am good Agi" I said to her.

    "You ain't strong,so no", Agatha said.

   "Please", I begged.

   " Let's make a deal, I will let you see who your visitors are that's if you will see a doctor",Agatha said.

     She won't be able to book an appointment because for someone to book an appointment to see a doctor in a cell, you have to be filthily rich with crazy connections and she can't be that rich. She might have connections but not that kind of connection (you know what I mean right?).

     "Fine alright", I said and the policewoman dragged me out gently, who the hell is Agatha?.

When I walked into the room, I saw Pamela and Charles, for a strange reason I was happy to see them.

      "Are you okay?",Pamela asked.

      " I will be fine",I said as I sat down, I felt so weak.

      "You don't look fine to us", Pamela said.

     " I didn't say I was fine, I said I will be fine",I said.

    "So why are you here?", I said ignoring the fact that Charles was present.

    " I am sorry",she said.

    "Sorry for what? For leaving me when I needed you, for forgetting me,for leaving me mid way, for not been there when your family took my priced possession or for what?", I shouted but it can't be counted as one, I was so weak that I couldn't even shout properly.

     " You aren't referring to me, right?",Pamela asked.

    "You hurt me too, you left me when the hearing was on and that's when I needed you the most, so what the hell are you saying?", I  asked Pamela, if I wasn't weak I would have walked out when I saw it was both of them. I don't want to see anybody not even Pam.

    " I went to help you out"

    "Help me out? By abandoning me? For leaving me when I needed you?", I said and I saw no tears drop and that shocked me, I guess I am not as hurt as I thought.

      " I am so sorry but I had to look into Mary like you instructed me to",Pamela said.

     "Couldn't you have looked into her another time?", I asked.

   " I had to because they let their guard down",Pamela said trying not to yell.

    I scoff,"Yeah, right".

    "You aren't that mad at me, you are mad at Charles, just say it", Pamela yelled.

     " Fine yes,I am mad at Charles but I am so mad at you as well",I said.

    "I am-"

    "Cut that bullshit out Charles, I don't have strength for that", I said.

      " Just hea-"

     "Are you deaf or what? I said cut that bullshit out", I yelled at him, I am still angry with him, so mad at him actually, I want to talk to him when I have the strength not now, I won't be able to get facts straight.

     " I told you I went in search of Amanda right?",he asked and I just stared at him,and so?.

    "I found Amanda", he said.

    " Congrats",I said as I stood up.

    "Don't you want to know who she is?",he asked but I kept walking towards the door.

   His next words stopped me," You are Amanda".

     Tears began to roll down my cheeks, my knees were to weak, more weak that I was, I rested my hand on the wall for support. Is he for real?

    "You are my sister,Avery. You are the girl you heard a lot about, you are my family not them", he continued ranting. Doesn't he know I am not fit enough to listen such crab?

   I walked up to him and slapped him, I slapped him so bad that I felt it. I was so mad, does he think lying and joking with stuffs like this will make me like him, well that will me hate him more.

    " Are you crazy? Do you think this is a joke? Do I look like someone you could play a filthy joke on?Get out",I yelled at him. I am still weak but I don't care anymore, I don't care if I slump and die, everyone has forgotten me anyways.

   "I am serious. I got your blood samples from a prison warden", he said making it worse.

    I slapped him again, its his day to annoy me, he sent a prison warden to get my blood. I just hated him more.

    " I deserve that and more, I am sorry but I never abandoned you, I am sorry that my supposed family raped you, I am sorry for the humiliation you faced, I am sorry you were in prison, I am sorry that I wasn't present during your hearing. But I never abandoned you, I never forgot you, I never forgot that you were always by my side, I never forgot your care, I never forgot the love you gave me as a brother even if you were my biological sister. All I want is that love you gave me before, all I want is your concern. I love you, Avery",he said. Lies.

   "Lies", I laughed.

    " How can you tell a prison warden to get my blood? ",I asked caused I was more concerned about my blood been taken, how much was gotten?.

      " I wanted to be sure you are my sister, I was shocked when I was told you were my sister, I was so happy but I wanted to be sure. My sister was so close to me all this while",he smiled. Does he think this is funny?

     "Why did your aunts lock my dad up?", I asked. I care more about my dad than I care about anyone else.

     " He is not your biological dad",he yelled.

      "But he took care of me when everyone forgot me, he took care of me. I am grateful he adopted me, cause if he didn't I would have been like you guys, I would have been like Mil and Dawn", I said.

       " It's more like abducted you",he said and I felt angry.

      "Where were you? Where were you when I needed a brother? I needed a brother when I was always been bullied in school(tears began to roll down my cheeks but I didn't care, I want to explode now),when people hated and avoided me,when nobody but Pam and Mil wanted to be around me, its like I attract hatred, jealousy and betrayal. That's when I needed a brother, that's when I needed you (I poked his chest). My dad stood by me during those times, he was my pillar, he was my strength, he was my motivation. So do me a favour and scram. Get the hell away from me and never call me your sister, cause my dad, Pam and Agi are family, the rest are nothing to me", I wiped my tears.

   "Never come to visit me again and get my dad out of that hell hole", I said.

     " Please Avery mum will be mad at us. She won't be happy when she see her children disagreeing and hating on each other ",he tried convincing me.

    " If she is truly my mum she will understand the shit I have been through, she would support me, that's what parents are for right?",I said.

     "What of your dad?",he asked.

  I laughed, it was a fake laughter, more like a mocking laughter," He isn't your dad anymore?"

     "He seized to be my dad the day he walked through that door and never came back,he seize to be my dad the day he stopped my dad from seeing me,from me knowing of my biological dad. He is the cause of everything that is happening today,he is the cause of my dad been in jail", he spat out.

     " He cared about you,he loved you, he nurtured you and took you like a son and what did he get in return? Hate. You guys hate us just because we always looked out for you,just because we loved you guys, because we were blinded by love. Instead of your ungrateful ass to apologize you are been an ingrate. I blame him for taken in a hypocrite like you, he pitied you and mum that's why you still have the mouth to sound ungrateful, he would have kicked your unapologetic ass on the street then you will know how important a dad is, my dad is, unlike your criminal dad who does nothing but-",I was interrupted by a slap, a large hand landed on my cheeks, I looked up to look at him and tears fell, he slapped me, Charles slapped me.

    "A-", I raised my hands and stopped him from talking.

    " See you later, Pam. Next time you come don't bring that along(referring to Charles).......cause if you do, don't blame me if I don't want to see you again and I mean it",I said and I spurned and walked out of the room.

    As I walked to my cell, I couldn't see properly, I felt dizzy and the tears aren't helping. I went straight to Agatha's cell cause I knew she won't be in mine. I saw her lying down at her bed, the lower decker. Two of her cell mate are present. When she saw I came in she sat up and looked at me.

   "What happened to you?", she asked as she stood up to meet me.

     " I need that phone ",I said to her.

    " You still haven't answered me",she said.

     "I saw Pam and Charles", I said.

   " The Charles that abandoned you? ",she asked and I nodded.

   " I thought he wasn't in the country, I thought you said his girlfriend and your ex-bestfriend hurt you and his family hated you",she explained trying to gets facts straight and I nodded.

  "When did he come back?", she asked.

    " He came back after he found out who his sister was",I said.

    "Don't tell me you are his sister", she said.

    " Fine, I won't tell you",I said.

     "Shit", she yelled and hit her hands together.

     " So the phone",I said and she gave it to me. When I dialed the  number, she picked on the first ring.

   "Hello?",she asked.

   " I need your help ",I said.

   " Who is that? ",I heard a guys voice in the background. I know that voice.

    " Its your princess, Jacob ",I said.

    " Princess?? Who?",he asked.

    "Don't tell me you are cheating on me. You said I should call you up when your favourite cousin and I break up.....does it ring a bell now?", I asked.

     " Avery? ",they asked in unison.

    " Hi, so when will I see you Angel?",I asked.

     "When do you want to see me?", she asked.

    " Very soon",I said.

     "No p, we will come visit you, soonest", Jacob said and hunged up.
