Josh's POV

It was three weeks before Christmas and time to start decorating. We put our tree up while they were asleep so they could wake up to a surprise.

The one thing about adopting is, you don't know what they did in years before, so for all we know Alex may have never seen a tree, this would be Graces first Christmas.

"Woah!!" Said Alex as she walked out of her room looking up at the tree. Under the tree we put one present for each of them. Inside was a Christmas shirt for both of them and a candy cane.

"DADDY, DADA LOOK PRESENTS!" she said loudly.

"Shhh your sisters still asleep, but you can open yours!" I said quietly handing her her present.

She sat down on the floor and opened it, she looked ecstatic and all she wanted to do was put the shirt on and open the candy cane. 

"After you eat your breakfast you can have it okay?" Said Ben.

She nodded and sat at the table where her breakfast was and ate.

Ben went in and got Grace who had just woken up, we let her open her present which was more of Alex opening it for her because she was confused.

We all sat around the table and ate our breakfast. As soon as Alex was done she went off and played for a little bit then came back asking for her candy cane.

"Dada can I please have my candy cane now?" She asked.

"Yes you can" he said smiling opening it for her.

Ben's POV
*TWO WEEKS TIL CHRISTMAS*

Christmas is coming faster and faster and we are all getting more and more excited. Today we are going to the store and getting presents for our parents and siblings.

"Do you want to get Uncle Nick and Uncle Nick a present?" Josh asked Alex.

"But why does he need two?" Alex asked.

"You have two uncle nicks!" I said.

"I do?" She asked.

"Yup!" Josh said "and we have to get all your other aunts and uncles and grandparents something too, sound good?"

"Yeah!" She replied.

They were more along for the ride, but little did they know they were going to meet a certain special jolly plump man in red.

We spent much longer than we thought shopping for gifts but as soon as they spotted Santa he was all they could talk about. We were practically dragged over to the line. Alex was very excited, but Grace must not have been because she fell asleep halfway through line.

When we got to the front we got Grace up and walked them over, I set Grace down and helped Alex up. It didn't take long for crying to start, but I can't blame her, if my dad were to set me on someone who I didn't knows lap and he had a big beard and an unfamiliar face I would react the same way. The picture still turned out pretty cute, after the picture Alex told Santa what she wanted, a Snow White costume and Snow White doll.

Josh's POV
*4 Days til Christmas*
Today we leave for Ben's parents house for Christmas. We packed up the car and headed out. So far the ride has been spent with questions of, what's the fluffy white stuff falling front the sky (it was snowing), why does Santa come at night, why he wears red, why his beard is so fluffy and long, how reindeer fly and a lot more.

After a game of 20 questions we turned on Elf for the rest of the ride.

When we got to Ben's parents house we unpacked and got our selves situated. Alex slept in Emma's old room in the bed and Grace slept in a pack and play in Ben's old room with us.

We spent the night helping make cookies, Alex made a few ornaments, playing in the snow and watching Polar Express drinking hot chocolate.

Ben's POV
*CHRISTMAS EVE*
It was bright and early and my families Christmas traditions start the morning of Christmas Eve. I woke up to the smell of cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate and it felt like Christmas was officially here. Alex was in bed still, Grace was sitting in the kitchen watching my mom in the kitchen while she ate her breakfast and Josh was drinking his coffee.

I looked outside and it was snowing again, this year will definitely be a white Christmas!  I walked into where Alex was and sat on the  edge of the bed.

"Alex, want to go play in the snow after you eat?" I said in attempt to get her up.

She sat up and nodded.

I picked her up and carried her out to the kitchen sat her down and got her some breakfast.

"You gonna go out in the snow?" Asked my mom.

"Yeah!" I said.

After breakfast we got all bundled up and headed outside to play in the snow. We built snowmen, made snow angels and had a snowball fight. We skipped sledding because they both weren't so sure about it. After spending a few hours outside we headed inside to relax because we were all worn out.

We ate dinner and then opened one present each, pajamas. Every year my mom gives us a pair of Christmas pajamas and something else little with it. We all put our pajamas on and took a picture sitting on the couch like always.

We then put the girls to bed (for the first time of the night). All the adults sat and talked for a little while, but to our surprise Alex walked out and climbed onto the couch and laid between Josh and I. I carried her back to bed and tucked her in again. Christmas has her very excited and she couldn't fall asleep, I laid with her until she fell asleep then quietly left.

Tomorrow was a big day, and another memory that will be made.
