Josh's POV
The same day we found Alex and Grace we started the process of making them ours. We did so much paperwork that I felt like my hand was gonna fall off but it was worth every second.
After the paperwork was sent in, we were told it could take some time. In that time we found a bigger apartment because a one bedroom was no longer going to work. We moved in, got their room set up and I have never seen so much pink and purple in my life.

Ben's POV
Everything is coming together, all that's left now is the one missing piece, our girls. Knowing that in the next month we could be bringing them home, I can't even put it into words.
"Hey Ben you realize they're not like us and need no car seats." Josh said.

I completely forgot about that, I have no clue how to pick them out.
"I'm probably the worst person to pick those out" I said.

"I'm not much better" he said.

"Only one person I can think of to ask who has experience in this field" I said.

"MEREDITH!" He said enthusiastically.

"Jeez take a chill pill I know her daughter is your bff but calm yourself" I said with a laugh.

Josh went into the other room and called Meredith and I finished unpacking the little we had left.

Josh's POV
Meredith is going to be a lifesaver for us. She's had to do all we're doing and can give us so many tips and tricks. She gave me some tips and pointers on what we should get and also told me some other things we still needed that we never thought of.

Ben's POV
Buying stuff makes me more and more excited, looking at all the picture frames we have that one day will be full with pictures of our memories, just everything about our future is exciting.

"Ben, the phones ringing and I'm pretty sure this is the news we've been waiting for." Josh said as the phone rang.

He answered and put it on speaker.  (J-Josh p-person on line)

P-Hello, is this Joshua Burrage?

J-Yes it is!

P-well I have some good news for you! And some bad.

Josh-okay

P-good news is, you were approved to go on with the adoption process. Bad news is, you have to wait til tomorrow to be able to bring them home.

J-thank you!!!!

P-my pleasure! Congrats!

*end of call*

As soon as he set his phone down I hugged him very tightly and ended with a kiss.
"It's official!!! We're gonna be dad's!" I said excitedly.
"The wait is very worth it! Now come on we need the car seats to be able to bring them home!" He said grabbing the car keys and going towards the door.

Josh's POV
I was so excited I could barely think, I kept having to make sure I was looking at the right stuff, getting the right stuff and double checking everything. I only made like 5 wrong turns on the way to the store.
"Should we get some sort of special stuffed animal? Every kid has one, they should to." Ben suggested.
"Yeah, I like that idea" I replied smiling.

After getting the last of what we needed we made our way to stuffed animals.
A purple dog for Alex and a pink bear  for Grace. After this trip, all that was missing was them.
