A/N I forgot to put in the first chapter that it was a flashback, so this is about 4 years later

A few days earlier

Ben's POV

Josh and I have been together for a while now, and it's gotten to where it's either one of us who's gonna ask. I'm in love and I want to ask but I'm scared he's trying to plan something and I don't want to ruin it by me asking.

Josh's POV
I want to ask him, but not in a small way. I want to show him how much he's meant to me so it's go big or go home.

Ben's POV
I kept telling myself to wait, but I've been telling myself that for a few months. I'm just gonna wait a little longer.

Josh's POV
It's time to ask, I've waited too long. I'm gonna do it, I asked the first time so I can do it again but only change a few words.

Today

Josh's POV
Today's the day, I had it all planned out minute by minute. He had no idea it was coming either.

Later that day:

Ben's POV
We were on the rooftop, our favorite place to go and sit and talk, sometimes for hours.
"So I've had something I wanted to ask you for a while" Josh said.

CRAP! Did he have the same thought as I did?! Well this could be interesting.

"Really? So have I." I said.

"Well I've been thinking about this a lot and have realized you're the one for me." He said slowly going closer and closer to the edge of his chair, slowly making his way onto one knee.

Josh's POV

Well apparently Ben and I have had the same thought from the sounds of it. As I finally made it fully down I pulled it out of my pocket and reached for his hand.

"Ben, I've loved you for a long time and want to be with you forever, will you marry me?"

Ben's face did not leave the smile it was like it was permanent. It felt like forever waiting for him to answer.

Ben's POV
All of a sudden it came to me, I slowly made it onto one knee as well and said,
"Josh I've loved you for a long time, if you'll marry me I'll marry you, so of course!"

We kissed and at that moment I knew I had just made the best move and decision of my life!
