Josh's POV

Today's the day, the day that my parents and Ben's parents would meet their two new granddaughters. Just the thought of them being grandparents makes me happy, it's something that they've all always wanted. Being able to help a wish become reality makes us so happy.

Ben's POV

Today Josh's parents were coming to meet the girls, as we were getting them ready he was getting texts with how far away they were. Getting girls dressed is nothing like boys, one thing we had to learn was what goes together and what doesn't go together clothing wise for them. Yes, we had to learn how to match because for us it's just grab some jeans or athletic pants or khakis and a shirt and it's good and 99% of the time it matches but with girls it's a whole new world.

"Daddy I wanna wear the pink shoes!" Alex said to Josh.

Well of course she has nothing on that went with pink, so somehow he's gonna have to explain pink doesn't go with what she has on (and it wasn't green).

"How about you wear your boots, you can wear the pink ones tomorrow, okay?" He said.

"Ok" she said with a pout, you could tell how much she wanted to wear the pink shoes.

Grace didn't care what you put on her, she was content with anything. Well minus hats, those only stayed on for maybe ten seconds even if that.

Josh's POV

After the shoe catastrophe of the day, we went into the kitchen and ate breakfast. I checked my phone and had a text from my mom saying they'd be here in 10 minutes.
I started to cook breakfast because if Ben did we'd end up with burnt something, even though he's a Cook he's not a cook.

As I got food on their plates Ben was getting them situated at the table. We all ate our breakfast and around the time we finished their was a knock at the door.

"I've got it!" I said walking to the door and opening it.

"Hey sweetie!" Said my mom as she hugged me with my dad behind her.

"Hey Josh!" Said my dad hugging me after my mom.

"Hey! Come on in!" I said letting them in.

They walked in and as soon as they saw the girls their faces lit up, almost as much as when we told them about them.

At first Alex was shy and hid behind me or didn't want to leave my side, but she began to warm up to them. Whereas Grace had a koala grip on Ben, she wasn't so sure about them yet.  My parents were going to be Grandma and Pop, Bens would be Gram and Papa.

"I'm your grandma and this is your pop-pop!" My Mom said smiling from ear to ear.

This is a day she's waited for, she always told us as kids she couldn't wait to be a Grandma, now her dreams come true.

An hour or so later Alex was showing them her room and her toys and everything, Grace still wasn't so sure but she did let my dad hold her so she started to adapt to them little by little.

Ben's POV

Seeing how happy Josh's parents are makes me even more excited to see how they interact with my parents. At first I was worried they'd be reluctant and not be sure of what's going on, but in the end they did really well. 

Josh's POV
At the end of the day we had to say goodbye but when the holiday season comes (which it isn't far) we will be making lots of trips to them or they'd be coming here. I'm sure every time they'll get closer and closer with them, just as they are getting closer with us too. This is another memory for us that we will always remember.
