Room 203
"Flight 218 is now fully boarded and leaving the terminal."
"Fuck it, Spencer!" Jon threw his carry-on bag on the floor. "You made us miss the flight!"
"Me?! You're the one who spent a fucking hour getting ready and we were already late!"
"Because you didn't set your fucking alarm on the phone!"
"You have a phone just like I do. Set your own fucking alarm!"
"Set my own alarm?!" Jon nearly yelled. As if that were the most absurd idea he'd ever heard.
"Yessssss." Spencer hissed. "Set your own alarm."
"Set my own alarm huh?" Jon was about to lose it. Spencer could tell. His fist well balled up at his sides and his leg was shaking. "Why don't you do your own laundry? Or wash your own back? Or cook your own food. And suck your own dick!?"
"Jon!" Spencer whispered harshly.
"Excuse me sir?" They looked over to see a small woman in the airport uniform approaching them. "I'm going to have to ask you to keep it down or we have to escort you out."
"Excuse me?" Jon said at the same time Spencer said,
"I'm so sorry!"
"Thank you." She said only to Spencer with a friendly smile. Her finger came up to twirl the end of her long, blonde hair. "I'm Britney by the way."
"I'm Spencer." Jon cleared his throat rudely. "And this is Jon."
"Oh, you travel with your brother?"
"Fiance." Jon glared. Spencer laughed.
"Oh! Really?" She looked at Jon distastefully. "Him?"
"Bitch I will end you!" Jon lunged for her but Spencer grabbed him back. He bent down to pick up his boyfriend's bag and pulled him towards the exit. But Jon didn't stop yelling. "Bitch you do not know me! I'm crazy! Don't ever come for my man!"
"Jon, please!" Spencer tugged him towards the car.
Jon grudgingly got in and slammed the door behind him. Spencer got into the driver's side shaking his head. Instead of speaking, Jon crossed his arms over his chest and glared at the window. But Spencer wasn't letting that one go.
"You have to stop doing that."
"Shut up."
"Whatever. I saw a hotel a few miles up. Were staying there. We'll catch another flight in the morning."
"Whatever." He looked at Spencer briefly. "I'm sorry."
"I know." Spencer smiled again. "Here it is." He pulled into the parking lot and they got out.
"Spence, this place is a dump!"
"Shhh. Grab the bags. Its just for the night."
"But it looks like some place from a horror movie." Jon whined as he took the bags from the back seat. "And you can't even see the name!"
"There's no crazy psychopath with a mask on in there." Spencer came closer and took the bags. "Would I let anything happen to the man I'm supposed to marry in." He looked down at his watch. "Thirty-four hours?"
"No." Jon couldn't hide his smile.
"Of course not. Let's go in."
Jon followed Spencer into the hotel.
It wasn't as bad as the outside looked. There were no roaches and mice scattering the floors. Just lots if cleaning needed to be done. Especially dusting. There was dust everywhere. Spencer was afraid that if he stayed in the same stop for too long, he'd be covered in dust too. They walked up to the front desk.
"Hello! Welcome." The bright haired girl smiled.
"Hello. We need a room-"
"Just for the night!" Jon added.
"Well of course. Double bed?" She smiled at Spencer.
"Well of course. Not!" Jon mocked her angrily. "Single bed for my fiance and I."
"How nice." She didn't mean it. Jon could tell. "Here's your key." She handed it to Spencer.
"Thank you. How much-"
"You don't pay until you leave."
"Why?" Jon asked.
"We deduct your bill if you are dissatisfied."
"Cool." Spencer smiled. Jon nodded.
"Room 203." She pointed to the elevator and walked through a door behind the desk. Probably an office.
