I woke up in the middle of the night. "12am" I mumbled. Time to take Princess outside. I clipped her leash on and led her outside. She sniffed around for a bit and pulled me into the backyard by her leash.

She yipped and dashed off into the The Forever Forest!!! "NO!! PRINCESS COME BACK!!" I screamed. She didn't even LOOK back.

I ran to the edge of the woods.

"Don't lose Princess, don't play near the forest and don't ever go into the Forever Forest." My mom's words rang in my ears.

"Don't lose Princess..." I heard her familiar voice again.

I stepped over the edge, towards a green light in the distance.

I followed the green light. It led me to a strange little cottage. Princess was there, leash dangling from her collar.

"Princess! Don't ever do that again! We aren't supposed to play in the woods. Come on, let's go home." I scolded the little puppy.

"Oh, you aren't going anywhere, Miss." said a strange, raspy voice.

I felt a cold, boney hand on my shoulder. I looked at the hand. It was brittle, looked as if I could snap it in half just by poking it. The hand was surprisingly strong. It was wrinkley and it had a firm grip on me.

I wanted to run, I wanted to hide. I wished I had never brought Princess outside.

I was frozen to the spot, to scared to move, look behind me, or even faint.

"Come with me." the voice said
