Jack woke up first but not by daylight. no Jack woke up to licking on his face. he opened his eyes and saw snowflake giving him the cutest face ever, he smile and was about to move when he felt something move on his chest. he looked down and saw Alice, her head on his chest and just realizing her hand in his. he smiled down at her thinking about yesterday. he looked at her again when he saw her snuggle with his hand. he looked up and saw they were in a dome made out of branches. he put his hand on a branch and it disappeared but when he took his hand away it came right back.
"mmm" he heard Alice groan and watched her roll over still holding his hand. she squeezed her eyes shut then started blinking slowly. she looked up and smiled at him then frowned when she noticed the dome.
"did you put this up" she asked yawning.
"no I thought you did" he replied.
"must have done it unconsciously" she said with a confused face. she reached out her hand a willed the plants to go away. she smiled at him again and scartched kuro on the head, who purred in delight.
"I think we have to get back home the bus should be here in a hour." she said
"um yea I'll see you on the bus"
"yea" they both left the treehouse and ran through the woods screaming to the sky with smiles on there faces. when they got to the forest opening they went there separate ways.
jacks pov
I ran to my house with the biggest smile on my face. I went through the front door and to my room I picked out my clothes, took a shower, got dressed, and finally combed my hair. I grabbed my bookbag and went to the kitchen for breakfast.
"hi mom" I said quietly she didnt respond just put food in front of me. I ate at the table by myself as usual. I got up from the table and walked to the bus stop, I instantly smiled when I saw Alice standing I was about to shout her name when I saw tears coming down her face. I walked over to her and put a hand on her shoulder,"hey are you ok" she gasped and spun around looking at me. the next thing I knew I was tackled to the ground with her head on my chest sobbing.
"hey what's wrong are you ok are you hurt" I asked frantically. but all she did was continue to sob, so I did the only thing I could do I let her cry. a few minutes passed and her sobs came down into sniffles.
"I'm s-sorry" she stuttered.
"its ok just tell me what's wrong"
flashback Alice pov
I got home and ran to my room. when I opened my door I saw my parents sitting on my bed. "Alice" my dad said
"yea" I said shakely
"me and your mother think that you have been spending to much time in that tree house. so we have come to a decision, your are only to spend 2 weeks  here so no more going into those woods." he said firmly. I gasped.
"no you can't do that I love my tree house I love the forest please, plus me and Jack-"
"Jack whose Jack" my mom said
"what do you mean whose Jack I told you about him yesterday he has the same hair as me we can be twins really the only difference is that he has green eyes."
"see dear thus is exsacly what I meant being alone in those woods doing who knows what she made her self an a imaginary friend." my mom said to my dad.
"b-b-but he is real he's our new neighbor and my new classmate"
"alive stop this nonsense, now when you get off that bus you will come straight home do you understand" my dad said
"but dad i-"
"do you understand" he said more fiercely.
"yes" after that they left my room and I got dressed slowly, walking to the bus later when I was done.
jacks pov
after Alice told her story she broke down again. I held her more tightly to my chest and ran my fingers through her hair.
"how about after school I will go over to your house and introduce my self to them"
she looked up at me "ok" she said. I saw the bus coming up the road and got our stuff. I held her hand and led her onto the bus to the back of the bus. once we were seated she put her head on my shoulder gripping me and a little tighter. we got to the school and went to class neither of us ready to start the day.
time skip/ getting off the bus
when we got of the bus, she griped my hand again taking a breath. we walked up to her house and she opened the door.
"mom dad I'm home and there's someone I want you to meet" she yelled. a few seconds later her parents appeared in front of us both looking at me with a stern face. "mom dad this is jack my friend from school, and our new neighbor."
"hi, it's nice to meet you" they both had shocked faces and looked between us.
"well it's um nice to meet you Jack" her mom said. it was an awkward silence for a moment until Alice broke it.
"now that I show you Jack is real can we please go to my tree house"
"no I already made my decision now woods for 2 weeks" her dad said.
"now Jack I'm sorry to do this but we need to talk with Alice, do you mind going home"
"um sure I'll see you tomorrow Alice" I said and walked out heading home.
3rd person
but what Jack didn't know was that he wouldn't see alive for awhile
Alice pov
after Jack left my parents grabbed me by the arm and threw me into my room. "you won't be leaving this room for 2 weeks that means no school to, I told your teacher you are sick." he said and slammed the door. I collapsed on my bed and cried into my pillow, my sobs turning into whimpers and finally few asleep.
