Alice woke up to licks on her face she groaned and rolled over. " kuro stop" she told the fox. you need to wake up you have school today he said. "great time to be ignored" she said getting up and stretching. she went to the small dresser that has a few of her clothes and got ready. she said bye to her friends and ran home. she brushed her teeth and ate a apple then went to the bus stop. the bus came a few minutes later and she got on and sat in the back by herself with her ear buds in. #musicislife. the bus got to school and she got of. she went to class and took out her drawing pad and waited til school started.
                                                                                 
Alice pov
I was so lost in my drawing that I didn't notice a kid looking over my shoulder.
"that's really good" I heard someone say. I quickly turned around and saw a boy with same color hair as me only with green eyes. then I remembered his complement as looked back at my drawing. "thanks" I said nervously. he sat down at the desk next to mine and went in his bookbag. then he pulled out his own sketch pad and opened it up. "your really good to" I say looking at his drawings. "thanks" he says. after that we spent the rest of time talking and showing each other our drawings, and before we knew it class was starting. we put away our pads and looked back at each other "my names Jack" he said smiling. "Alice" I said blushing. as the day went on I notice Jack trying to talk to people but they would just look at him and walk away, I felt kind of bad for him. by the end of the day he had a defeated look on his face and walked slowly down the sidewalk. I ran up to him and asked if it's ok to wall with him, he said ok. we walked in silence for a few minutes until I broke the silence, "you know they do the same thing to me" he gave me a confused look, "I mean ignoring you they do the same to me. I think it's because of our hair color at least that's what they told me." I said sadly. he looked at me and smiled "well at least you talk to me wanna be friends" he said holding out his hand. I smiled back and shook his hand "friends." we went back to silence until we got to his house. I looked around the area and saw my house a little ways down the street. "you know what made this day better" I asked smiling brightly. " that I can explore the forest after I do my homework" he replied "well yes but also that we're neighbors." I said loudly "that's my house over there" I said pointing. he smiled back and said " cool can we explore the forest together"
"yea I have a huge tree house in there, let's meet at my house in one hour" I said
"ok" he waved and closed the door. I sprinted home and changed into more comfortable clothes. I ran to the living room and shouted really fast "imadeafriendhisnameisjackhehasreadhairlikemeandheisnewtotheschoolandheiscomimginahoirtogotomytreehouse." my parents looked up and said boardly "that's great sweetheart" i looked down and walked to my room and finished my homework waiting desperately for the hour to end
