This chapter takes place before the newest episode

Patton sat in his room on his baby blue beanbag with a bright smile on his face as his eyes were glued to one of his favourite cartoons,  noisily munching on a bag of popcorn. Things had been tough lately with the whole debate about the wedding and Remus showing up and, since the wedding was tomorrow, everyone was a bit stressed so he wanted to distract himself by doing something he enjoyed, which just so happened to be watching cartoons. Soon, there was a quiet knock on his door.

"Come in!" He called out, his face filled with popcorn.

The door slowly creaked open and his boyfriend Virgil entered, slowly and quietly shutting the door behind him. Letting out a small sigh, he sat down on the bed behind Patton.

"Hey Pat" He finger saluted him, the smallest smile on his face. 

Patton quickly turned round. "Hey Virge! What's up?" He smiled, jumping up and bouncing down next to Virgil.

"I was just wondering if I could join you. I'm kinda...stressed at the moment and need a bit of a distraction" He rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

"Oh of course kitty! I'd love that!" Patton beamed brightly. "We haven't been spending that much time together lately so it would be great to spend more time with you!"

Virgil nodded and looked towards the TV without another word. Patton offered his bag of popcorn to Virgil, who took a bit with a small smile.

After a while, the show finished and Virgil turned to Patton, his expression clearly nervous and uncertain. "Pat, can I talk to you for a second please?" He asked quietly.

"Oh of course Virgey! Go ahead" Patton smiled, his attention fully focused on Virgil.

"Please stay away from the dark sides. Especially Deceit. I have a feeling he's gonna try and pull something tomorrow, what with the wedding and everything, and I don't want him to hurt you. I mean, you know how he's evil and manipulative and cunning and wants to hurt you and Thomas and-"

"Virgil, I'll be fine" He pecked his forehead. "You don't need to worry about me. You've told me plenty of times to stay away from Deceit. I know that he's bad news. I'll be careful love. I promise"

Virgil let out a small sigh of relief before pecking Patton's cheek. "Thank you cookie. I love you"

"I love you too kitty"

Meanwhile

Deceit paced the dark side mindscape, clearly frustrated. Just like everyone else, he was also extremly stressed about the wedding tomorrow. Remus simply watched his boyfriend pace the mindscape, slightly amused as he had a small smirk on his face.

"I still can't believe those stupid sides are making Thomas go to that stupid wedding! I know he'd rather go to the callback! I know what's best for him! But noooo apparently I'm "evil" and can't be trusted so obviously they didn't listen to what I had to say" He ranted, his voice soaked in anger.

"I know! They wouldn't listen to me when I suggested murdering Lee and Mary Lee! Why do they hate us so much?" Remus huffed. Deceit looked towards him in shock

"Remus!" He gasped, his head snapping towards Remus. "What have I told you about murder?! Violence is okay but not murder! That would be even worse for Thomas and his mental health.  I just don't know what to do at this point" He sighed as he flopped down on the sofa next to Remus, his heads in his hands.

"Look, don't listen to those stupid light sides okay? And don't stress about it too much. They'll soon realise that we were right and Thomas will listen to us more"

"Remus I...whatever" He shook his head. "Guess we'll just have to wait till tomorrow"
