Kanan's pov

Where in force is Ezra? He's been gone for hours. This mission is suppose to take not even an hour. What if he got captured? I better go to Hera and tell her the possibility.

I was about to leave the common room and go into Hera's room but she already came rushing through the door. "Where is Ezra? It's 11:30." She says in a panicky tone. That's when Ezra opens the door and walks in. When he sees us he turns around and tries to leave.

"Ezra Francis Bridger!!!!" Hera shouts at him. "That's not my middle name." He says. "Where on earth have you been? I've been worried sick!!!" She yells. He doesn't say anything. I then notice Ezra was holding an ice pack to his forehead. "What happened to you?" I say worried.

"I got into a little accident." He says. That's when Hera looses it. "Did storm troopers find you?" She says. "No I-I got hit by a speeder." He says. We both gasp. "You should go to the med bay right now." I tell him. "It's ok I already went to a doctor and he cleared me out." He says.

I look at him confused. "You had credits on you to go to a doctor?" I ask him. He just looks down thinking for a second but then raises his head like he figured out something. "No actually the person that hit me brought me to the doctor." He says. Now I'm really confused.

"Can you explain to me a little on who that person was?" Hera says. "Umm she was the same age as me I didn't really get her name." He says. "She probably got an appointment for free because she's a cadet." He says but then covers his mouth.

"What?!!" Me and Hera shout at the same time. He just keeps his hand on his mouth knowing he shouldn't have said that. "You know what it's late we'll talk about this tomorrow but make sure you don't run into that girl again." She says and walks out.

Ezra then removes his hand from his mouth and tries to leave but I stop him. "Ezra Edger Bridger get back here." I say. "Again not my middle name." He says. "Whatever you still have a lot more explaining to do." I say. "I already explained everything I got hit by a speeder and that person who hit me took me to the doctor ok goodnight." He says running out of the room.

"Hey wait!!" I shout and run after him. But when I ran through the hallway, he wasn't there. Man he runs fast. "You know what we will talk about it tomorrow in training." I say giving up.

I then walk into my room and go on my bed to sleep.

Kanan's dream

I'm in the imperial prison. But I'm not the one in chains. When I look to my left I see a boy in chains covered in blood, Ezra. He looks his life was taken away from him. I try to go closer to him but I find myself unable to move.

Then all of a sudden someone comes into the cell. A girl who looks like she's a cadet. "Why would you do this Shadow?" Ezra says. "I'm part of the empire and your a rebel or were a rebel." She says. So she must've put Ezra into the cell.

"I will never join you there is nothing you could do to make me turn." He says. "Then you will die." She says and takes out her blaster. She then without hesitation shoots Ezra. Then everything goes black.

I wake up in a haze. If that was a vision I cannot let that happen to Ezra. I just need to keep him away from that girl.
