Today was the day... hopefully... that they are able to get the portal working.

Eda may have somehow blocked it from the other side but if they could overpower that block, they could get through and get home.

Luz hoped it would work, because she was getting really frustrated being stuck on Earth again.

"Are you sure this will work, Hunter?" Luz asked him.

"Honestly? 58% sure." Hunter said, waving his hand in the air.

"Well, that's better than our usual odds." Gus said.

"Yeah but this plan seems crazy, even by our standards." Willow said, holding up a pint bag of her own blue titan blood. "And we're lucky Camila let us borrow a blood transfusion machine from the vet."

"And it's lucky that titans are immune to diseases." Luz said, also holding a pint bag of blue Titan blood.

"We might as well just try, we've made it this far." Amity said.

The new plan was to apply all of their blood to the door, trying to overload the block so they can literally BURST back into the demon realm. Each one of them provided one pint of Titan's blood each. Even King, against his will but still, one more bag of fuel.

If this didn't work, they had no idea what would.

"So, how exactly are we going to attach 6 bags of Titan's Blood into a magical door?" Skara asked, gesturing to the portal door.

"We've already thought of that." Luz said.

"And the solution is these!" Gus said, bring an array of hamster wheels from the inside of the house.

"Hamster wheels?" Tracey asked.

"Yep. They're from the first time we tried this, way back to that first time we were trapped here a few years ago." Luz explained.

'And hopefully this time, it won't end in a fire.' Luz thought as they all rigged up their pint bags of titan's blood to the hamster wheels. 'Okay, in case this backfires, I've had a good 17 years.'

"Alright, guys. Time to run." Willow said to Clover, Stringbean, Waffles, and Ghost.

The four palismen nodded, with Stringbean transforming into a mini puppy, and ran to the hamster wheels.

"Okay. Start!" Vee shouted.

The four palismen began running in the hamster wheels, making their magic flow into the wheels before it flowed into the titan's blood pint bags.

'So far so good.' Everyone thought as they saw the blood bags glow blue and the glow began to travel through the wires attached to the portal door.

That's when everything went wrong.

It seemed like it was working at first, the door was glowing with power as it accepting the titan's blood, but it so began shaking and becoming too bright as the titan's blood was overloading it!

"It's going to blow!" Cat shouted, holding Skara close!

Acting fast, Luz and Amity created a wall of ice and abomination mud to protect everyone!

Willow and Tracey only added to this as they both summoned giant walls of vines.

BOOOOOOOM!

The explosive blast was so powerful, it shook the woods like an Earthquake was happening, even setting off some alarms from cars in the city.

-In the void of space-

Far away from Earth, energy from blast was felt by the Archivist as they rose from the meteor they called home.

"The Titans are on Earth, that planet we cleansed millennia." They said, "It's time to move."

The archivist floated above their home before flying towards the magicless planet to annihilate the pesky Titan creatures.

'First, I shall cleanse the Earth again. Then, I will destroy the Boiling Isles.' They thought.

-Back in Earth-

Lowering the wall that was their shield, Luz saw the results of their failed attempt and felt great rage boiling inside her.

"FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!" Luz shouted, making the woods shake again as birds began flying off in a panic. "NOT AGAIN, GOD DAMNIT!"

Luz punched the ground hard enough to make a hole, causing the area to shake again.

"Is somebody gonna stop her before she destroys the entire forest?!" Skara shouted as she watched Luz stop to a tree and kick through the thunk to make it fall.

"Amity's got it." King said as Amity walked towards Luz.

"Luz, sweetie, I need you to calm down." Amity said with her hands up.

But Luz was barely listening as she muttering curses in Spanish while whiling to another tree!

"GRRRR!" Luz growled as she grabbed the bark and pulled to rip it out of the ground.

"Luz, you need to stop." Amity said, a bit louder.

"RRAAAAH!" Luz roared as she ripped the tree up and threw it into the stratosphere.

"Luz!, stop now!" Amity yelled, before taking a breath! "WEH!"

Luz was hit by Amity's Lesbian Laser, knocking her forward and off her feet!

'Did she just roar at Luz?' Everyone thought as Luz hit a rock face first!

"OOOOOO!" Everyone winced.

"Oh shit! Luz, I'm sorry." Amity said, rushing to help her up.

"Ugh, I'm okay. My face is fine." Luz said as she pushed herself up, not even having a bruise or scratch. "And that sort of knocked some sense back into me, so thanks."

"You're welcome and you really need to calm down." Amity said, helping Luz stand up. "We get it, this is frustrating, but acting like that won't help."

"And the door is still standing...but it's a little smoke." Gus said, looking at the portal door.

Which was now in front of a somewhat smoking and damaged cabin, so they have to fix that up later.

"Looks like we'll have to try something else." Cat said, coughing a bit from the smoke.

Luz growled in anger again at their failure.

"Luz." Amity said sternly to her.

"I know but still, that was our only bet and it failed!" Luz said before making an ice glyph, creating a seat for herself and sitting down with a groan. "Now what are we gonna do to get home?"

"We'll figure it out." Amity said, holding Luz's hand. "Together."

"And hopefully soon. I'll get tired of human food eventually." King said before seeing the smoke from the cabin rising into the sky.

"Oh I doubt that." Luz said, grinning as she rolled her eyes.

The magic infused smoke began to mix with the clouds, slowly turning them dark like storm clouds.

Even if it was Earth weather, Skara could sense it through her lightning magic.

"The magic smoak is going to cause rain." Skara said, "We should head back."

"Why? Rain doesn't hurt here, so it's no bit deal." Vee said to her.

"I know but still, aside from wet clothes, I'd rather not get my hair wet." Skara said.

"She's right you know, it takes 30 minutes to get it like this." Cat said, pointing to Skara's hair.

Some of the group silently chuckled at this before heading back to the Noceda house, unaware of the storm clouds growing bigger and sparking with purple lightning.
