Luz ran as fast as she could, which was pretty fast and for a good while, thanks Titan endurance, when she was hit by a net. She tried her best to break out, but it didn't work.

"Don't bother, Luz, the Collector made that." A male voice said.

Luz flinched at berating this voice, her sense of dread increasing by the second.

'Papa Titan, please no.' Luz thought.

The net was grabbed and she was dragged back to the Owl House. Luz was whimpering all the way as Stringbean slithers from her hat.

'String baby, help mama!' Luz thought to her palisman!

And help she did, by Stringbean just nuzzling against her.

'Not like that!' Luz thought.

Luz silently cries in despair as she was dragged back into the owl house.

"Put her back on the couch. Everyone's here, too. So she won't be getting out easy." Eda said.

'Everyone? Who else is here?' Luz thought.

She looked around and saw that ALL of her friends were here.

Amity, Gus, Willow, Boscha, Skara, Amelia, Viney, Barcus, Jerbo, Lilith, King, Collector, Alador, Darius, Emira, Edric, Hooty, and even Steve, and Matt Tholomule! It was practically a party but instead it was a goddamn intervention!

"Down you go." Hunter said as he placed Luz on the couch, having been the one to catch her in the net.

Nobody said anything as they all just looked at Luz, seeing how she was fidgety and nervously.

"Uh... hi?" Luz said, more as a question.

"Hello, Luz. Now before we start, we want you to know that we aren't doing this because you've done something. We're doing this because we're worried about you." Lilith said in a gentle voice.

"I-I-I'm fine!" Luz said, putting her hands up. "Really!"

"If that's true, then why have you been avoiding your closest friends"? Lilith asked her.

"I'm not avoiding anyone. I just hung out with Viney and King last week." Luz said, defending herself.

"Not them Luz. THEM." Eda said, gesturing to the FOUR elephants in the room.

AKA: Willow, Gus, Hunter, and last but not least, Amity.

"I just... haven't had time." Luz said, not looking towards them.

"Luz, take it from someone who used to be a compulsive liar." Matt said.

"And someone who worked in some interrogations when HE was alive." Steve said.

"We know a lie when we hear one." The Tholomule brothers said at the same time.

'It's not a lie per say.' Luz thought.

She has been really busy lately, repairing the Isles, human school, there's not much time in her life right now.

"But you still made time for Viney and King. Why not then?" Collector asked, leaning back in the air with hands behind his head.

"I-I-I..." Luz said as looked down, unable to form a proper sentence.

'What am I supposed to tell them? The truth? Another lie? Either way, it's just going to make things worse.' Luz thought as she tried using her magic but that failed. 'And this net is blocking my magic.'

"Luz, you're cool and I am once again sorry for being a bitch for so long, but if you don't start talking, I'll make you talk with a truth elixir." Boscha said, interrupting Luz's thoughts.

"Boscha... that wouldn't work on me." Luz said, knowing from a past experiment.

"What do you mean?" Boscha asked as everyone looked confused at Luz.

"Let's just say, due to some problems with sleeping, I found out I am now immune most potions and elixirs. So a truth elixir might not even work on me." Luz said, scratching her head.

"Oh crap, I remember that." Eda said with a blank tone.

"What do you mean you remember that?" Lilith asked accusingly.

"I needed her help with a taste test." Eda said, picking her ear with her finger. "After all, she is literally a creature that can only be stopped by another titan or a god like being. A small snake oil potion wouldn't hurt her."

"POISON!?" Everyone shouted, except the Collector and King.

"I saw but I'm not old enough to be resistant yet." King said.

"And I think I'm poison proof." Collector said with a shrug.

"Yeah, well, Luz is." Eda said.

"Back to the matter at hand." Lilith said, "Now, Luz, we... where'd she go?"

The net was neatly folded on the couch, Luz and Stringbean nowhere to be seen.

"WHAT?!" Everyone shouted in shock.

"How did she get out?!" Amity shouted, being the closest and not even seeing her girlfriend vanish!

"You said that net could hold her!" Willow said to the Collector.

"I thought it did! I even added some magic to block her spells from getting out!" Collector said.

"We have to find her!" Amity said.

The group split up to look for her. Outside, Luz was running through the woods.

'I didn't know I could use shrinking magic but thank you, Pap Titans!' Luz thought, recalling exactly how she escaped.

If she could use her magic outside of her body because of the net, Luz focused on using it on herself from the inside. Thinking of nothing but escaping the intervention, Luz was quickly shocked to find out she could shrink herself down in an instant! It reminded her of the time Tibbles used that shrinking spray on her and her friends at the carnival. She kept going until she was a good distance away from the Owl House.

"Okay, I think that should be bought." Luz said to herself, leaning back against a tree.

Stringbean floated up to Luz and gave her a sad hiss.

"Don't look at me like that, girl. You know why I had to run." Luz said to her palisman.

Stringbean gave her another look.

"I don't want to either, but I have too many things going on right now." Luz said, "... The Isles won't fix themselves, and... there's so many that died during the Draining Spell, and even more that are missing."

"Hissssssss." Stringbean said, conversing with Luz.

"I might not be a full Titan or empress or whatever but I still have a responsibility to the demon realm. My personal issues don't matter right now." Luz said, scratching her palisman's chin. "Come on, let's go help a bit."

Luz held her hand out and Stringbean became a staff, allowing the half Titan to fly away while she used the invisibility glyph just in case.
