"So he was shirtless?" alex asked shoving some ice cream inside of his mouth.

"yes." ruby said nodding her head. she took her spoon and shoved it inside of alex's ice cream cup and shoved it inside of her mouth.

"and you felt things?" alex asked.

"yes." ruby said without having to think twice.

alex was then quiet taking two more spoonfuls of ice cream before saying out of nowhere, "do you think he's good in bed?"

"alex!" Ruby hit him with their tote bag making alex laugh a little. They were walking in the park of roses just the two of them. alex bought them both ice creams but ruby already finished hers so they were both eating out of his cup.

"do you like him?" alex asked glancing over to the flowers than back at Ruby.

"of course I do." Ruby said as if it was the most easiest question ever. She has always said she was a simp for him, which started out as a joke but then it wasn't.

"not playfully, Ruby. Actual feelings." alex said eyeing them as she glanced down at the grass.

"I do, alex. But I highly doubt that he feels the same way." ruby said shrugging her shoulders. she crossed her arms over her chest.

alex scoffed loudly shaking his head. "why don't you think he feels the same way? you don't see the way he looks at you when you aren't looking, or when you talk all be would do is admire you. you would be incredibly stupid if you think that those eyes that he looks at you with aren't love eyes." Quackity said feeling like he was inside of a slow burn book.

"what do you know about love?" Ruby asked making Quackity grin a little looking away from Ruby and up ahead.

"Enough to know he feels the same way as you do, and your fucking insane to think he doesn't." He told the girl with a smug smile she rolled her eyes at the boy.

"Something I always think about know is like, what if I never went to the flower shop? Or what if i went and he wasn't there? What would have happened?" She questioned looking over at alex with pain in her eyes, it honestly scared her to think about that. She couldn't wrap her finger around why.

"Ruby you cant think like that. At the end of the day, you two were in the same exact place for a reason yeah? It sounds hella cliche, but it all happened for a reason. And maybe that reason was for you two to start dating, we have have to just wait and see." Quackity joked at the last part, though he wouldn't admit it he was the one that wanted them to get together the most.

They breathed out a laugh at one of the boys she called her best friend, "shut up." She said while playfully rolling her eyes

"Whatever you say princess." He mocked she groaned in utter disgust and annoyance, it didn't feel right coming from his mouth.

"I hate you." She joked looking at him, he mocked her facial expressions, she hit his arm he immediately gasped.

"OW, you hit hard." He said rubbing the spot where she had just hit him. "come on, Ruby. You deserve to be happy with someone you love in a romantic way." Quackity said bumping their shoulders together.

"but so do you." Ruby said glancing over at Quackity who let out a laugh wrapping his arms around her shoulder.

"yeah, well I'll find my soulmate later on it life. but right now, your happiness is more important right now. and then we can play Cupid with me." Quackity said as Ruby leaned against him.

"I will only say this one time so you better record it if you want blackmail." Ruby said making Quackity start recording it but still have his arm wrapped around their shoulder.

"I truly do love and appreciate you, Alex." ruby said grinning at alex. the boy pouted out his lips and his eye started watering. "alex don't you dare cry!"

"you're my best friend ruby." alex admitted. he stopped recording and shoved his phone back inside of his pocket. ruby smiled widely, throwing her arm around his torso and leaning against him. alex dropped his cheek to her head as the two continued walking.
