003. describe him

❝ HELLO! ❞ ruby said to Maggie as she walked into the flower shop. she were mainly only going to see Callahan, her mind couldn't stop thinking about the possibilities that it really was callahan even though there was another part of her that thought it was absolutely impossible.

she might have also been there for her maybe dead plant.

"Well hello ruby darling," Maggie greeted her sweetly, she tilted her head to the side and gave the young girl a warm smile "Callahan come help her again please." she said without even having to look behind her shoulders. her eyes glistened in amusement and ruby nervously shifted on her feet.

The red headed boy came out from the back of the store, when he saw who it was his eyes went a little wide. He'd be lying if he thought he didn't find her attractive, not like he would express it to her though. it did surprise him to see him again and he started to get nervous. he couldn't help but wonder if the voice would be exactly like ruby's. and if it was, can it be really her?

Ruby bit the inside of her check nervously as she waited for Callahan to come from the back of the store. He walked out and gave her a weak smile, yet she noticed one thing. He acted shocked when they made eye contact. she brushed it off and walked over to him. "so — I might or might not have almost killed my flowers." she said sheepishly.

Callahans eyes widen making Ruby feel bad. "but, in order for them not to die I need your help." Ruby said, her pleading eyes locking with his. "please."

Callahan nodding his head before taking out a pencil and a notebook making Ruby tilt their head to the side. He wrote something down quickly, tore it off the pad of papers and handed it to her with a soft smile. She furrowed thier eye brows while reading it, it read out;

How did you almost kill them?

Ruby pressed her lips together and tried thier best not to giggle, the story wasn't funny it was only funny to her. She looked over at him who was staring at her studying her facial featers, something that he tends to do with people he finds interesting. "So, I kinda over watered them. " she was embarrassed to say the least.

He smiled at them and shook his head making Ruby shrink a little before he started to write something again.

and for you that's funny?
maybe you shouldn't have watered them a lot.

Ruby opened their mouth and quickly closed it back down lifting up her eyes to glance at Callahan who was already looking at Ruby with a small light smirk. that smirk was going to kill her. she didn't care right now what callahan this was but this callahan, is going to murder her with that smirk.

"well, it's not funny but the way it's— can you uh, help me. please." Ruby said knowing that if she tried to win a argument with him, he'll win. she thought back to the millions is small arguments that her and callahan would get into and someone he shifts the table and always win. and if this callahan is her callahan that she might just take the blame and be the bigger person.

Callahan nodded his head softly starting to write the direction for her to follow. After a few seconds Callahan turned the paper around letting her read through it.

"you sure know a lot about flowers, flower boy." Ruby said without knowing that the nickname past her lips. Callahan straighten his back looking at the girl not wanting Ruby to see what kind of small effect the nickname gave him. his whole body shivered from head to toe.

"thank you." Ruby said smiling at him before starting to walk backwards and then fully turned around only to catch Maggie standing in front of her by the entrance.

"everything alright, dear?" Maggie asked with a wide smile looking over her shoulder making Ruby turned their head to look over at Callahan who mocked a salute. "yeah." Ruby quickly said turning back around.

"it looks like it. have a wonderful rest of your day, honey." Maggie said.

"you as well."

"What is Ruby doing?" Sapnap asked in a call, Dream, Quackity, Karl, and George. ruby got back from the flower shop a minute ago and immediately the boys quickly called her to know what was going on. expect ruby had her phone propped on the kitchen and everyone could see her running up and down with plants.

"I don't know." George grumbled sounding like he was sleeping.

Ruby grabbed the plant and took it over to a shady area, she then started to check if there were proper drainage. "Ruby, what are you doing?" Karl asked making Ruby sigh. she jogged back to the kitchen picking up her phone and walking back to the window where he plants were.

"I overwatered my plant—" she started but was cut off by a certain british man.

"So you went to Callahan to ask him how to save your plant, but you also went because you wanted to see him. So now you are talking care of your plant but that isn't going to stop you from going back to the shop." George summarized everything up without him knowing, but he did use his common sense. 

"I thought you were asleep." nick said once more making George groan and go back to sleep.

"so why won't you describe him?" alex asked taking one of his headphones off his ear as he continued playing his video game but at the same time was paying attention to his best friend. "also send me your location."

"wait— guys I have to go and film something. Adios!" Karl giggled making them all say their goodbyes to him.

"no, I won't describe him to you guys, i'm not even 100 percent sure it's him either way." Ruby said removing all of the dead and dry roots from the plant. she picked up her phone and send him her location on my find. sending everyone her location since they all have each others locations in case of anything.

"oh come on! Tell us how tall he is!" Quackity said making Ruby laugh. he isn't going to like this answer.

"he's Karl's height." Once Ruby said that you could clearly see alex standing up, throwing off his headphones and kicking his chair. he isn't that short, he was a good 5'9 or 5'10 but somehow everyone of them is still taller than him.

"oh come on!" alex screamed.

Everyone started to laugh at Quackitys reaction knowing that Karl is taller than him, now Callahan is taller than him. "yeah." Ruby whispered throwing them dead and dry roots away while her mind drifting over to the ginger hair boy.

something that she now does more than she has done before.
