Chapter 2

Miss told us to go to whichever way we wanted and to try to find somebody to pick as their quote on quote "Pen Pal", but most of these guys here weren't even aloud to move.

Though judging by the cells I can tell they like to draw with whatever they find on the walls and in the cell because words scratch every inch of most of them.

Some of the cells were empty while others were filled with a single person who was either peeking through the door trying to see something, curled in a corner or lying down on the bed asleep.

It was rather soothing in a creepy, horror sort of way. Which made me rather uncomfortable considering I liked it more that way.

People upon people I stared at them all until I froze to see a hallway that was completely dark with one cell lit up at the end of it. Why is it all the way down there?

Edging my way over to it, I peeked to see that it was one way glass yet again except instead of sleeping or curled in a corner or looking in the door like all the other patients,

this one was standing in the center of the room with a few people as he stretched in relief. My eyes darting over to the strap jacket in one of the mans hands, I realized that these men were in uniform.

He's dangerous?....

The man swinging his arms around, a teasing grin on his lips as he wiggled around everywhere, he froze when his eyes landed on me.

The man's lips moving as they shackled him into the chains, he opened his mouth to speak but they snapped a muzzle onto the man.

His heavy breaths ran through the corridor and the hallways, the camera focused on him as he giggled with his head hanging low,

his crazy shrieks could be heard throughout the building. All the other people I was with were visiting all the other patients but this one spotted my eye.

Staring him down, he continued laughing in his own delusional world, going completely bonkers in his own world. Taking a step back,

I tensed to feel a hand thud on my shoulder and turn me around to allow me to see none other than the petty teacher herself who had what looked like... Fear? All over her face? Maybe she decided she was wrong to do this after all.

"Miss..."

"Yes Mark?" Her voice riddled with fear as she tried to act annoyed, I cocked an eyebrow before rotating myself back around and tapping on the glass of the man's cell.

"Why aren't we visiting this one?" A confused look on my face I could see the discomfort in her eyes as she felt his beady eyes glaring at her, awaiting an answer.

"Well Mark, he's more sick than the others." Opening up my mouth to speak, she shot me a glare before pushing everyone onwards, wanting to get to more saner people inside of the insane asylum.

Huffing, I turned back around towards him to see him bouncing in a chair with his arms wrapped around him in a hug, seeming out of reality and in his own world.

Clearing my throat with no answer, I wrapped my hand around the cell bar as I gazed inside through the one way window. Or, it was supposed to be one way.

"Hello?" I called out. My voice deeper than I thought it was, he froze where he was.

A sickening crack echoed through my ears and I gawked to see his head snapped up at an insane length, not thinking anybody's head can go that far back as he started screeching.

My legs tripping over one another, he lowered his head so it was hanging on his neck, swinging back and forth. Heart skipping beats the longer I stared at him,

he didn't respond to me but you could see a smile beaming on the mans lips, his creepy, pearly white teeth shining in the dimly lit room.

The teeth inhumainely sharp, a shudder went through me as he chuckled a small bit before uttering a single word I didn't expect to hear from him.

"Hi."
