Frost Star's Personal Observations:

It had been a full day since I had been brought into this cell, and so far things were going according to my plans, not that they knew. Since yesterday, The Flash has been busy trying to figure out who I am, or at least who is related to me...that will be a shock to them...I smirked as those words were running through my head, as well as the layout of Star Labs, which wasn't as different as the one I was familiar with from my timeline. Though seriously, you'd think that with all their advanced equipment, their DNA technology would have told them by now.

I soon looked at the cell door as the blast door began to open, although even I admit I was a little surprised when I saw that, instead of The Flash standing in front of my cell...was his precious wife instead, Iris West-Allen. The sight of her simply made my blood boil more as I bore a glare down towards her, not getting up to speak to her as I had done with Flash and Vibe. "So you're the one who Barry caught." She said, either trying to see who I was or she was trying to antagonize me or mock me. It didn't matter to me one bit, as I just sat silently with my eyes closed. Though she obviously noticed due to what she said next.

"Hey! I'm talking to...!" I soon interrupted her as I got onto my feet at quick speed, talking in a dark demonic voice that made me sound, as I understand it, darker than that of Zoom's voice. "And I'm not listening!" I bore a deep glare at her, my eyes glowing darker and gave off a more sinister glow to them. It appeared to do the trick as she backed up at that, nearly stumbling over. I paced around the cell room once again before saying "Look at you...you stand there, trying and pretending to be important, when all your efforts to the team have only served to hurt or worsen efforts. And yet your friendship with The Flash was good enough of an incentive for Savitar to try and kill you...though I can't see why."

I spoke with hate and venom in my voice as I said that, and each word seemed to stab into her soul, even if she didn't believe me, I suspected. I simply smirked as I looked at her saying "I'm done talking to you. Close the door on your way out." I glared at her a bit more and turned around, sitting back on the floor with my legs crossed and arms on my lap, eyes closed. Unlike Flash however, she didn't bang on the glass to grab my attention, and instead walked off. I simply smirked a bit...and soon I briefly looked into my lap, making it look like I was just trying to get comfortable...when in reality there was a small dark blue light blinking on and off from within my lap. "Perfect..."

End of pov.:

Barry was currently standing in the central area of the lab looking at his suit, not having listened to or even knowing about what Frost Star had said to Iris, having been too much in his own world to notice or hear at the moment. Cisco was working on some of their tech at the moment, making sure there wasn't anything wrong or any glitches, whilst Caitlin had gone out to get something to eat and drink for the three of them, surprisingly it wasn't Barry's or Cisco's own ideas for that either as Caitlin volunteered for whatever reason.

Caitlin soon returned with the food, but before she could say anything other than "Hey", Iris came in and soon said "That guy is so...infuriating in there!" she said, causing Barry to turn a little, though he looked briefly and smiled a little at Caitlin that only she seemed to notice. "Who?" Barry asked, to which Iris looked confused as she said "That new Speedster. You didn't hear me talking to him?" Barry soon said after a bit "I...was a bit busy." Caitlin knew he was lying a little, though she could guess why, he didn't know she was here, though even Caitlin didn't know what Barry was doing in this case.

"Well he is a jackass and needs to be dealt with." She said annoyed, Barry looking over at Caitlin as he asked her "Has the results from the DNA Test come in yet Cait?" Caitlin tried to hold the blush in a bit, though it thankfully went unnoticed by Iris, and soon brought the results, saying "Not yet no, but it's nearly identified one of the blood relatives of him. It probably needs a few more minutes." Barry nods to that as he says "Well, I'm going to check on Cisco quickly, let me know if anything changes." Barry said to Caitlin who nodded...Flash walking off, getting his and Cisco's food and drinks before saying "Thanks by the way Cait." before heading off, Caitling smiling as he headed off.

Iris sighed irritated before heading off back to work, telling Caitlin to tell Barry that he has to get his own food tonight. Caitlin sighed a bit as she said to herself when Iris was out of hearing range "How does he put up with her..." before she went back to work whilst she ate. Barry soon arrived at the tech lab where Cisco was, soon handing him his food as he said "Thanks. How much do I owe Caitlin?" Barry chuckles saying "I...never asked." Both laughed a bit at that, soon they ate as Cisco said "So I was doing a scan on his getup to try and find something that caused his speed or those icicles, but from what I've picked up there isn't anything technological on him that could cause it." Barry sighed a little annoyed.

"Well, at least he's not another Savitar..." He said, to which Cisco said to that "I also doubled security around the place just to be on the safe side, so there is no chance he can get out without inside help." Barry nodded to that as he says "Good job." They were silent a bit as they eat, before Cisco soon says "So I heard Iris was here. What was that about?" Cisco asked, Barry looking dumbfounded a bit before saying "I...wasn't paying attention at the time. I only noticed her come in when she spoke. I thought it was Caitlin coming back at first to be honest." He said, to which Cisco nodded a bit.

"Okay look, I have to ask...is there something between you and Caitlin?" Cisco asked, causing Barry to cough and nearly choke on his food then before asking through a couple of coughs "Why...would you ask...and think that?" Cisco soon said a bit, looking a little hesitant to say so "Apart from that? Well...you always sneak a glance at her when you think nobody is noticing. The fact she acts less serious and more cheery whenever you're around, and also you nearly always go out of your way to help her, even when she was as Killer Frost." Barry didn't know how to respond to that, and seemed to be confused in his thoughts.

"I...don't know." He eventually admitted, Cisco soon saying after a bit with a small laugh "Yeah there is." Barry raise his eyebrow a bit, but before he could ask Cisco how he figured that out...and before he could embarrass himself further...Caitlin soon came in and said "We...have a problem..." which caused both Barry and Cisco to look over to her, though naturally Barry was the first immediately hearing her voice. "What kind of problem?" Barry asked, to which Caitlin soon said after a bit "It's...best if I showed you..." And she headed back to the console, Barry and Cisco looking to each other confused before heading after her.

They soon found out what she meant when they entered the main lab, Caitlin soon beginning to speak slowly as she pointed to the console, as if explaining something terrible..."Half of the DNA Test results came through a few minutes ago, and...it shows a nearly 100% DNA match to another Meta-Human...I'm...so sorry Barry..." And Barry soon found out why, looking at the scream, and finding out to his shock...that the DNA for a family member for Frost Star was, in fact, a near-dead match for Barry's! "That's..." He began, but soon stopped himself, before racing towards Frost Star's cell, Caitlin calling out Barry's name as he did so "Barry!"

Frost Star's pov.:

I was sitting silently in the cell I was in, the glow on my lap flashing on and off more sporadically now, signaling that soon was the time...However I soon heard The Flash arriving and bashing a fist to the door as he shouts at me "How is it possible!?!" I smirked a bit at that briefly before standing up and removing the hood as I said "So...you figured it out I take it?" I smirked a bit before looking over at him as I turned to see him, and the look of both rage and confusion on his face was priceless. "How the hell am I your dad!?!" He said angered, to which I closed my eyes rolling my eyes. "You know half the truth then...ah well, can't expect everything at once." I glared at him next as I spoke.

"The tests aren't inaccurate...to a degree. You are as much a complete match to it as someone you've faced is...Remember Savitar?" At mentioning the darker version of Flash, his jaw dropped a little and he backed up a little speechless. I smirked at that darkly as I said "I'll take that as a yes...though how could you forget the man who killed Iris West right?" I walked closer to the the door, my eyes glowing darker as I said with venom in my voice. "That's right Flash. Savitar is my dad...which makes you my dad too...and I hate you more than I could ever hate Savitar!"

"But...how!? How are you here? You saw Iris is alive, Savitar is no more..." He tried to argue with me, clearly not believing me, and to be honest I couldn't care less if he did or not, and I interrupted him "I trust you've heard of a Parallel World...places or dimensions were what could have happened or what has not happened can do? Well, you may have re-written the timelines in this World to save your precious...friend...but my world still existed in one of many Parallel Worlds...and everything that happened did: Savitar killed Iris West, you abandoned the city you tried to protect for 8 years, only coming out to stop Savitar 4 years after West's death...and you never saved Killer Frost...all because of you!"

I could tell he was about to question everything I said, so I stopped him from talking and continued to explain "You failed the city and the people you swore to protect and help Flash! You failed to save your best friend! And you failed to stop Savitar! And whilst in one timeline you managed to get rid of him 4 years after Iris West's death, he still came back over 10 years later after you got back to being the so-called hero you claimed to be, and he wreaked havoc across my world! And what was worse I encountered him, I tried to stop him before you could...even as young as I was and with my powers still in their infancy I nearly defeated him...and yet he defeated me still!

"And right when I thought he was going to kill me, he stopped and told me the words that have been burnt into me for years, and words that bring me no end of hatred every single day: "I am your father...". And then I found out he and you were the same person, and all I could think off was destroying you." Flash soon collected himself enough to ask me "But...But how...did you get here?" I smirked a bit and wagged a finger left to right as if to say "no", before I said "You don't get to know that part yet...you still haven't found out the whole truth..."

Soon the building began to shudder a bit, and my smirk widened as I said "And you never will from me." Soon the power went out and I smirked as I soon made my hands turn into ice hammer gauntlet's and I charged into the door at high speed, smashing the door down, a feat most would consider impossible, then smashing my fists into Flash's stomach, winding him instantly and showing a tracking device in my hand free hand. "You should really do a better job checking the ones you capture..." I said smirking as I put my hood back on and grabbed him by the collar, before racing off with him down the corridor, smashing him into a nearby wall as I did so every-so-often.

I soon reached outside and smashed him down into the ground, seeing The Flash's face bloodied and bruised from the repeated beatings that I had given him on that little run. I glared at him as I said "Too easy..." And soon I turned my Ice Hammer Gauntlet into a sharp icicle...

End of pov.:

To say that Caitlin and Cisco were shocked when they heard Frost Star's explanation on Barry and Savitar being Frost Star's dad, and the Parallel World he is from, would have been a major understatement. Even more so that the timeline they had spent over 4 months trying to change in their world ended up occurring regardless in Frost Star's, albeit differently with Savitar returning. "That...can't be..." Cisco said, barely above a whisper that only Caitlin could hear.

Caitlin however was stunned silent, and a bit sad in a way as well that she had a part in that, even if it was as Killer Frost. Soon Caitlin noticed the security alarms outside the building going off. "Uh, Cisco, get Barry back up here!" she soon said, but before he could do so; the building soon began to shake as if it had been hit by a mini earthquake, causing them to nearly fall over...and then it went from bad to worse...and soon they saw on the screen that the screen was fixing and sparking as if it had been hit by an EMP device, and it was then followed by power for the entire building cutting out throughout the entire building!

"Powers out everywhere in this place!" Cisco said as he tried to get the computers and tech back on. Caitlin soon ran into where the Cold Gun was and grabbed it before saying "We have to find Barry!" She said, before running off, before soon being knocked down by a familiar fast sight, the sight of a Speedster, only in this case it wasn't the one she cared about, though she did briefly see him getting smashed into the wall as she was knocked over. As she was knocked down to the ground, the Cold Gun was knocked into the farthest wall from her hands, damaging the gun.

Caitlin was feeling dazed for a few moments, but managed to get back up in time as she ran after Barry and Frost Star. She soon reached outside the building just as Frost Star was beginning to make a sharp icicle appear in his hand, scared petrified and unarmed, her powers still locked away, all she could do was shout out "Barry!"

Frost Star's pov.:

"Barry!" I heard as I aimed the icicle to Flash, catching me off guard and soon I turned my head to see which one of his friends was trying to protect him...surprised when I saw who it was: Caitlin Snow, or as I know her in my time line...Killer Frost! "It can't be..." I said, barely audible, seeing fear in her eyes as I held the icy weapon at Flash. I looked to Flash as I snapped myself out of it, seeing that he was dazed still, hence him not being able to attack me back just when i was distracted, but he seemingly had had enough sense to look at Caitlin with...worry on his face.

I knelt down a little bit before saying to Flash in a whisper "You're lucky that it was her who came and saved you, Flash..." And before I could give him a chance to answer, I stabbed the icicle into his left leg, causing him to cringe out in pain, although surprisingly the leg had been a bit more sensitive then I had thought. "BARRY!" I heard Dr. Snow shout out, before I soon sped off away from Star Labs, muttering to myself "And so it begins..."

End of pov.:

Caitlin was shocked as she saw Barry getting stabbed in the leg, which ironically was the same leg that she/Killer Frost had stabbed twice before, before the Speedster had raced off away from the area. She ran over to Barry instantly and crouched down to try to help him. She knew that even with his healing abilities it would take at least 4 hours for his leg to heal, though thankfully not as long with his other wounds.

Cisco soon appeared through one of his rift portals before running over to help Barry as well, helping Caitlin to lift him up as they walked him back into Star Labs to help him out. To their surprise the power was back on already, so whatever had happened had only been a temporary thing, but enough for Frost Star to escape. They brought Barry to the medical chair and laid he out on it and began helping him out.

Joe soon arrived not too long after hearing about the power going out at Star Labs, Iris having been occupied by her work at the time so she hadn't been able to answer her phone. Cisco and Caitlin explained to Joe what had happened, and to say that Joe was concerned was an understatement. However they had neglected to tell him yet about what the DNA Tests had said about the Speedster.

"Soooo...this "Frost Star" let himself get caught, just so he could break out and beat up Barry. But he stabbed Barry in the leg when Caitlin came out? What is it with Speedsters trying to cripple Barry?" Joe said, and although he may have joked a little about the situation, he spoke rather seriously and looked like he was about to go on a witch hunt for Frost Star for hurting Barry. "We're not even sure how he managed to get out yet or how the power went out, the...security camera's aren't working still, the went out at the same time as the power." Caitlin began, standing next to Barry's bed as they waited for him to awaken.

"All we do know is that the outside security camera's went off just moments before the power, and that...psychotic speedster went and then he nearly killed our best friend." Cisco finished, clearly pissed off. Soon Barry began to stir, causing the others to look over at him, Caitlin being the first. "Barry?" Caitlin asked concerned, to which Barry soon looked at her, briefly smiling a bit that didn't go entirely unnoticed by Cisco, before saying quietly "How long was I out...?"

"You were out for about an hour." Cisco answered, the latter person and Joe soon coming over to him as Joe says "Why is it that you always seem to attract trouble in the form of a Speedster wanting to kill you?" Barry soon closed his eyes a bit and sighed as he says "He's from a Parallel World." Barry said, and at Joe's clear confusion "Basically imagine whatever things that don't happen on this world does on another one." Joe nodded a little understanding that, if only a little.

"Okay, so...what world is he from then?" Cisco and Caitlin were hesitant to answer Joe's question, Caitlin especially as it had just as much to do with her as it did with Savitar. "The one were...Savitar won...were he killed Iris." Barry managed to answer, which managed to make Joe not only at a loss for words, but concerned and nearly relapse from the bad memory. "So...you're all saying that this...Frost Star is from that timeline? Is he with Savitar!?" Joe asked, beginning to worry.

"No...he's not with Savitar..." Barry soon answered, though there was sadness in his voice and almost...despair perhaps? It was hard for the others to tell. "He...hates Savitar as much as we did, and he is gone...but...Savitar did...have a role to play in him being here..." Barry replied, to which Joe asked "In what way?" Caitlin could see that Barry was struggling now, as he himself was still coming to terms with the fact that Frost Star was Savitar's...and in turn his...son. She soon spoke for Barry, which did not go unnoticed by Cisco.

"We...ran a DNA test on Frost Star after we "caught" him originally...and the DNA test revealed that he had Barry's DNA." Joe was almost speechless at that, but soon said "So...Frost Star is...Barry's kid?" "And Savitar's." Cisco clarified, though it didn't seem to help soften the blow. "So...we've got a psycho-Speedster who is Savitar's kid...and in turn Barry's and he wants to kill Barry?" Joe asked as he wrapped all the information in his head. "We'll stop him Joe." Barry said, Joe saying "I'm more worried about what will happen to you if we don't Barry." He said in a protective father way...which was valid as he was both his former Foster Dad turned father-in-law.

Joe wasn't the only one who thought that way, Caitlin was as well. She had lost a lot of people she had cared about in her life, even Killer Frost when they were hunting down Devoe, but Barry was different: he'd been there for her when she needed him, and whilst they had had a number of arguments here and there Barry was a calming influence that had helped her through the worst of times, and he trusted her as much as she trusted him. He had even saved her from Killer Frost the first time she had turned into her just by putting his life on the line. She had a feeling that if they lost Barry, it would strike a blow at her that would cause a never ending wound and pain.

"Barry should rest for a bit, he still needs to heal." Caitlin said and they began to leave him in peace, Caitlin placing a hand on his shoulders gently and smiling a bit as she said "We'll be in the other room if you need us." He nodded a bit with a little smile before falling asleep, and Caitlin soon fully left the room and went over to the others, Cisco standing by the main console as Joe began to speak again.

"So we know that Savitar...Barry...is this Speedsters dad. So who's the other DNA match?" "We didn't find that out yet. For some reason the results are taking forever to come through and it's running through every DNA Database known to man and only Barry's DNA came through, and that took god knows how long." Cisco explained, though he already had his suspicions on who it could be...

Frost Star's pov.:

I was in my new base of operations, where that is only me and my "help" know of, and I was currently in the coldest room possible smirking like a mad man at how easy it had been to fool Flash and his team into getting me in their base. But even as I smirked in the sub zero temperature of a room I was in, something was aggravating me just as much...the fact that I let Barry go without inflicting more pain on him because of Dr Snow...

I knew she would have been a potential problem, but the fact she isn't Killer Frost and causing mayhem to the city complicated things a bit...she was, in fact, still working with Flash, and quite clearly had feelings for him too. Ah well, there is always a hurdle in the grand scheme of things, in the end it wouldn't be a problem to me. "You went soft on him there. Not having a change of heart are you?" I heard from behind me, I turned and saw one of my most trusted of all my allies behind me dressed from head to toe in a spiked body armor and helmet.

"That will not happen again. And you should know better than to be in here without knocking on the door first." I replied with a neutral look as began to put my hood back on "What's next then?" my ally asked me, my eyes beginning to glow ice cold as I said simply "Now the fun really begins..."

Author's Side-Note: Just in case anyone is wondering, I'm not a fan of Barry and Iris's relationship on The Flash currently, as to me it just doesn't seem like they fit together as a couple. If you think otherwise, that's personally fine to me, this is just my opinion on it as I prefer the Snowbarry/Flash Frost (Barry and Caitlin) because they have a lot more chemistry and there are subtle and not-so-subtle hints in Flash, and they seem like they would be better as a couple.

I am just trying something different, and all I'm asking is for people to give it a chance and try to enjoy the story. Also, don't know if this was mentioned at all, but it's basically my own imagining on Season 5, as I made this story before Season 5 even started.
