Sora: Rivira...!

Sora spotted pillars of smokes rising from the west the moment he emerged from the dim, rocky tunnel. It took them less than 30 minutes to reached floor 18th. Some of the Ganesha Familia members were moving towards Rivira, while the first class adventurers like Shakti were heading towards the forest where the Xenos are.

Fels: Let's make for the forest.

Sora: Fels!

Fels: Rivira is likely little more than a ghost town. Lido was among the group that went east.

Fels was practically invisible standing next to Sora as he conveyed information. Sora too had seen them. A siren and a gargoyle flying east. But he couldn't see Wiene and that made him uneasy. Sora quietly follow the Ganesha Familia as he wanted to talk to either Rei or Lido. As the fight continue, Sora drew his Hestia Short Sword as Laura, the snake woman attacked him. Laura didn't realized that she was attacking Sora, due to his face being covered by his hoodie.

Sora: Wait, Laura! It's me, its Sora!

Laura: !!!

He tried to jump past Laura to dodge a swipe, but it drove its blade like claws straight through his robe. Sora lost his disguise along with his backpack and revealed himself to the battlefield.

Lido: GRAAAAAAAAA!!!

A single lizardman burst through, appearing from between as adventurers locked in combat with monsters.

Sora: Lido!!

Lido grabbed a hold of Sora's shoulder and drove him away from the group.

Lido: Why have you come here, Sora-chi?

The two of them broke the clash and they decided to move away from the group and they ran west where there is no other adventurers nor monsters.

Sora: Lido...!

In a small clearing a great distance away from the tree-lined battlefield. Sora and Lido stood face to face in a clearing surrounded by thick tree trunks and tall blue and white crystal.

Lido: Why... Why have you come, Sora-chi?

Roars of battle were off in the distance. Nothing stood between them in this place Lido had chosen for their discussion. In any case, he didn't want their reunion to be like this. Clutching a scimitar and longsword, the lizardman narrowed his reptilian yellow eyes as though trying to bear a great pain.

Sora: I heard that Rivira... had been destroyed by armed monsters... Lido, was it really you and the others who did that?

Lido: Yes. It was us who attacked.

Sora: Why?

Lido: Our kin were killed... by poachers.

Sora's eyes opened wide. Lido continues, strengthening the verbal assault on the motionless boy.

Lido: Wiene and the others were taken by their group.

Sora: Those Ikelos Familia!!! I already gave them a warning to stay away from you!!! But they ignore it!!!

Sora flew into rage. Wiene his daughter was captured by them. And Lido was caught of guard by the sudden rage.

Lido: I'm sorry, Sora-chi... We really are monsters, just like humans say we are.

Sora: Lido...

Lido: I tried to talk... to convince them! But it wasn't any good!

Lido couldn't stop Wiene from being taken and couldn't stop his kind. Lido offered an apology, stewing in his own uselessness. A powerful resolve soon took it place.

Lido: I'm the same! I can't suppress my rage! The ones who killed my kin... I want to kill them so much I can't help it!

Sora could see every muscle in the monsters body twitch, as if preparing to charge and exact revenge right now. Lido's eyes pulsed, and Sora knew his monsters instinct were taking over. Their the same as human. Humans also burned with indignation should anything, happen to their friends and allies. All the emotions coursing through Lido and the other Xenos right now were not monstrous.

Sora: I understand very clearly. How you feel...

Lido: That's why we will go save Wiene and the others. We will bring back our kin.

Sora: Where your going is the enemy territory. That place is nothing like the dungeon. Going in there recklessly is suicide!! So let me join—

Lido: Stay back!!

Lido swung his sword, slicing into the ground at his feet. Sora immediately stop.

Sora: !!

Lido: Sora-chi, you're a human! Stop caring about monsters. Turn back!

Sora: Your right! I never care about monsters!!

Lido: !!

Sora: But your not monsters!! You may look like one, but you all have the heart as we humans do!! So I'm going to continue to care about you!!

Lido: Stay away! If you're seen with us, that'll be the end for you, Sora-chi!!

Please don't cross that line. That's what Lido was implying. Lido was pushing him away. He was trying to keep him off the path of ruin. He was trying to keep his burning hatred for surface people at bay. He was afraid of being betrayed. But still, Sora didn't move.

Lido: What're you dragging your heels for? Hurry up and go back to Bell-chi and the others!

Sora: No!!

Lido: Go!!

Sora: No!!

Lido: Go away!!

Sora: No, I will—

Lido: RAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!!

Sora took one step closer, over the crack in the ground. Lido didn't let him finish as he roar with all his might.

Ryuu: Sora!

Sora and Lido: !!!

Ryuu rushes in with her wooden sword flashed between the two of them immediately afterwards. Lido dodge the attack aiming in his direction, jumping back as Ryuu landed in front of Sora. The lizardman took one look at the eld protecting the boy before spinning around and racing off in the other direction. Sora was left behind.

Ryuu: Are you unharmed, Sora?

Sora: I'm fine, why are you here?

Ryuu: I will tell you of the details later. It is dangerous to remain isolated. Let us return to the Ganesha Familia.

Ryuu turned to leave, but Sora continue to remain standing still.

Ryuu: Sora?

Realizing Sora hadn't followed, Ryuu turned to face him.

Sora: I'm sorry, Ryuu... I'm going after that lizardman.

Ryuu: !!!

Ryuu recoiled in surprise beneath her hood as he shouted what was in his heart.

Sora: I have to go after him!

Ryuu: May I know your reason...?

Sora: Because, I never go back on my word.

That made Ryuu's eyes go wide. She clearly understood what he meant.

Ryuu: This incident involves the dark faction... A Familia with some kind of connection to Evilus is involved.

Sora: I know. I've been fighting the remnants of Evilus for 5 months.

Ryuu: Then you know why I cannot tolerate the existence of Evilus.

Sora: I know that.

Ryuu: You have not been yourself as of late. Syr is worried... As am I.

Sora:...

Ryuu: I know I am no match for your strength, but will you please head to the surface?

Ryuu extended her hand, offering to please head back to the surface. Sora didn't look away. Her stepped away from the hand trying to stop him. That step took him across the crack in the floor, bringing back painful memory how it got there.

Ryuu: I see...

Sora: I'm sorry. But I need to stop Evilus.

Ryuu: You truly are the Light of Hope that saved us all, 7 years ago. And even now you still...

Sora: I'm sorry. But I'm going...

Ryuu: I'm certain there is no point in trying to stop you. Take this.

Ryuu pulled a small pouch from her waist as she spoke. She then proceed to pull out as assortment of high potion and other healing item.

Ryuu: If you find yourself in trouble, use it.

Sora then looked inside and he was surprised at what he saw. Inside was another Knossos key. He didn't know how she get this item. But he was more than grateful. Now, Sora had two Knossos key in his position.

Ryuu: I don't know if it will prove useful, but...

Sora: No, you given me. Everything I need. Thank you. And I'm sorry.

Sora then with his super speed chased after they monsters to the east as Ryuu looked at him from behind.

He was dashing through the tress, jumping over roots that crisscrossed the ground like giant tentacles, when suddenly Fels came into view.

Sora: Fels!

Fels: Sora Yatagami! You've come! Are you alright?

Sora: I'm fine! Their heading east! This way!

Fels: Do you know, where they are?

Sora: Yes, I do!

As soon as they made to the eastern wall of the labyrinth, Sora went over to the pouch that Ryuu gave him and give it to Fels and it started shining.

Fels: Sora Yatagami, what might this be...?

Sora: That is called Daedalus Orb. The key to the door...

Fels couldn't contain his surprised.

Fels: How do you get this?!

Sora: It's one of Evilus hideout key! They entered to a labyrinth named Knossos! Come on, follow me!

Suddenly, the wall of the dungeon break open and revealed a path inside. It was large enough to allow large category monsters to easily pass through, and the passageway was made of numerous types of rocks and minerals. Sora explain that Knossos is a man made labyrinth build by a guy named Barca Perdix. All of this smuggling monsters, was to gain money to increase the maze even further. It was also the reason why Alfia was able to head towards the dungeon without alarming the guards 7 years ago.

And not only that, this was also Evilus hideout. With Thanatos and Enyo as the last survivor of the evil Gods. Fels was surprised by how much Sora had find out in just 5 months. He also told Fels about the Demi-Spirit that those Evilus have, and Fels remember seeing it when the Loki Familia head towards the 59th floor. And one last thing was those creatures, such as Red Tamer named Revis, Ein, and finally the Prince of Hell.

Fels: To think that, you...

Sora: I've been to Knossos once. Saving the Loki Familia from destruction. And not only that, I also figure out that the Ishtar Familia was also conspiring with Evilus. And the moment that Lady Ishtar was sent back to heaven, the key that she possess, I was able to take it before anyone else does.

Fels: So that's how you managed to get this. I am impress, by how you handle things by yourself.

Sora: I had some help. And you've been doing some snooping around as well, haven't you

Slyphid(telepathy): Its all thanks to me! For giving you all the information, right Sora?

Sora(telepathy): Yup! Thanks Slyphid!

Fels: I just can't win against you. Yes I have.

Sora: For now, keep the key. I have another one.

After they crossed the regenerating threshold, the two of them made their farther into the tunnel. Their path was suddenly blocked by a towering metallic gate.

Fels: Orichalcum. Its the strongest refined metal, surpassing adamantite.

Sora: The whole Knossos was built out of Orichalcum. So you better not lose the key. The moment you do, you might as well die in here. Now use the key to open the door.

Fels then used the key that Sora gave him and the door opened.

Fels: I don't believe it. To think something like this existed in the dungeon...

Sora: Come on! Follow me!

Sora and Fels made their way through the stone hallway, Fels unable to hide the surprise on his voice.

Fels: This place is connected to Daedalus Street. They transport the captured Xenos to the surface without our knowing, and smuggle them out through Orario. If this place is connected to the surface, then everything is consistent.

Several shadow passed over the stone floor under the magic stone lamp.

Gros: The scent of our kin is close! Onward!

Lett: Lido! The door! This is a trap!

Lido: I know. But we have no choice but to go!

Once the group broke through the wall of rocks on the eastern edge of the forest, they immediately saw an open door at the end of the tunnel.

Lido: What is this place?

The Xenos then saw multiple cages and they all saw their friends and allies all wounded and trapped there.

Fia: Everyone!

Gros: Break the cages! Free our kin!

Each of the Xenos then started freeing their comrades that were trapped in there. And Lido noticed that Wiene was not with them.

Lido: Fia! Are you alright? What happened to Wiene?

Fia: I don't know. They brought me here while I was unconscious.

Dix: What a touching reunion!

Xenos: !!!

Dix: Good job making it here, monsters. Welcome.

A man wearing googles appeared from deep in the darkness. Lido came to a screeching halt, and Gros turned away from a broken cage. Every Xenos set their eyes on him.

Gros: Are you the poacher who has been selling off our kin?!

Dix: Yes, I am. I had to hurt them quite a bit to make sure they wouldn't be rude to customers.

Gros: YOU BASTARD!!!

Dix: Well, to be perfectly accurate, it isn't me. Its us, you see?

Suddenly, multiple Ikelos Familia members started appearing from behind and Dix's laughter increase even more.

Dix: While protecting that precious baggage of yours... I wonder how well you'll be able to fight.

Sora: Oh they can fight very well!!

They all turned back to see Sora running inside the Knossos labyrinth.

Lido: Wha-, Sora-chi!!

That left everyone surprised. Xenos, and the Ikelos Familia all were stunned to see Sora running with Fels.

Gros: That boy from before!! You little... Why have you come?!

Sora: To save my daughter you stupid bastard!!

Gros: !!

Sora: If your going to get in my way as well in saving this Xenos. Then you can go down first, because I'm pretty piss right!!

Sora glare at Gros and Gros started backing away by the sheer intensity of his glare. And he look at Fels.

Sora(whisper): Keep the key hidden...

Fels(whisper): You got it...

Dix: Hey, Gran! I don't remember telling you to invite that Flashing Bastard!!

Gran: No, it wasn't... Dix! I know I did it right!

Sora: It seems you all didn't take my warning seriously. I don't need a key to pass through those doors.

They all looked at Sora surprised. They all thought he was bluffing. But it turns out he wasn't as Sora passed through Lido and Gros and glare at the whole Ikelos Familia and the aura that Sora was giving, gave them the hallucination of death.

Even the Xenos were unable to hold their fear any longer as they saw Sora was completely and utterly furious.

Sora: Now then, which one of you Ikelos Familia bastards wants to die first? This time, I won't just give you guys a broken bones.

Fels: Lett.

Lett the goblin look at Fels as he was giving him a key as well. And the goblin nodded his head understanding what Fels wanted to do and ran outside. And the whole Ikelos Familia all rushed towards Sora and Sora drew his sword and started slashing multiple adventures. Cutting off their arms, legs, as Sora was done being mercy.

Sora: Now then... Who wants to be next...?

Lido: Sora-chi...

Gros: We don't need your help! All of you charged!

Sora: No! Stop it you idiot!!

The Xenos then all charged and ran passed Sora and started rushing towards the Ikelos Familia. But then Sora noticed that the whole Ikelos Familia were taking cover.

Sora: Get back here! All of you!

Dix: To late!

Dix then started chanting.

Dix: Become lost in an endless nightmare: Phobetor Daedalus.

A wave of crimson light burst from his finger. A red glow swept over the battlefield. The ominous light devoured the darkness. There was no explosion, however, not even a shock or vibration. It engulfed everything in range. Sora and Fels cover their ears and suddenly, every single monsters was thrashing around, completely out of control.

Sora: Dammit!

Fels: Lido! Gros!

Fia: Everyone?! Why...?

Sora: Its a curse!! One of Dix Perdix spell. It will make everyone cause confusion, restriction of movement, physical pain. The only way to stop the curse, is to stop the caster.

Dix: You and your knowledge. But don't think that I'm not prepared for your arrival, you bastard!!

Sora: !!!

Suddenly, and Orichalcum door to Dix's right sprang open and two more enemies appeared. It was the two enemy that Sora already defeated during his first time in Knossos.

Sora: You two again, PoH, Revis?!

The two of them glare at Sora. Especially Revis, her eyes was filled with bloodshot. She wanted nothing more to kill him right now.

PoH: AHAHAHAAHA, nice to see you again, Flash!!! As you can see, I've healed up, from our previous battle!

Revis: This time I will kill you, you bastard!!

Sora: Just how many times are you two gonna get defeated before your satisfied?

PoH: That was then and this is now! And beside, its always been you that brought the killing out of me!! We'll see if you can face off three against one!!

Sora: Tch!!

Sora is at a huge disadvantage. Both PoH and Revis had the strength of a level 7. Even though Dix was using his curse to negate his status. It was still a losing battle. 3 vs 1. But Sora didn't hesitate and drew both of his blade.

PoH: Now, then, let's you and I have some fun, Flash!

Revis: This time, you will die.

Dix: Can you even win, 3 against one?

Faced with tempting words that seemed to be the ultimate concentration of evil, Sora replied simply.

Sora: Yeah.

Sora then got into stance, with Bakuya in front and Kanshou behind him.

Sora: I'm ready when you three are?

Revis: Cocky bastard!!

As both Sora, faced off against Poh, Revis, and Dix, Sora's will power, Revis and PoH's will power flare up and clash. The clash was enough to send powerful shockwaves through the battlefield, as their eyes locked on one another, Sora rushed towards them, and PoH, Revis, and Dix all rushed toward him as the battle for the sake of the Xenos has begun.

Sora, PoH, Revis, Dix: HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
