No one's POV

Everyone continues to looked completely shocked as the blue skies above them turn dark and they saw what looked like a giant skeleton.

Asfi: What's going on?

Hermes: The dungeon hate us. Since we keep it locked up in a place like this. Uranus, what happen to your prayers? You didn't tell me anything about this...

Everyone then saw the crystal above them break apart and saw a Goliath dropped down to the ground and it let out a massive roar.

Hermes: A floor boss. I knew it...

The Goliath continued to let out a massive roar and the monsters around them started going rampaged and attacked adventurers. Bell and the rest who were watching from the top of the cliff looked completely shocked.

Lili" Why is there a floor boss on the 18th floor?

Rin: That Goliath looks stronger than the one on the 17th floor...! How did this happen...? While Sora's not here...

Hestia: That monster is most likely an assassin sent to kill me... no, to exterminate us Gods.

Bell: We gotta save them!

Ryuu: Wait.

Bell then looked at Ryuu.

Ryuu: Are you really going to save them? With this party? Now that Sora is gone, you're the one to make a decision?

Bell then looked at everyone else and they all smiled at him.

Bell: Let's save them.

Everyone smiled at Bell and Ryuu just sighed.

Ryuu: Unlike Sora, you've failed as a leader. But... you didn't make the wrong decision.

Ryuu then rushed in and Bell looked at Chigusa.

Bell: Miss Chigusa, take care of my Goddess. Everybody, let's go!

Everyone: Yeah!

Bell and the rest rushed forwards to where the Goliath is and Hestia looked at them worried.

Hestia(mind): All of you... don't do anything stupid.

The Goliath then slammed his fist to the ground and cause a small explosion and blast the adventurers that were around the area. Mord who was on the ground due to the explosion saw that he was surrounded by monsters and he looked horrified, but Bell managed to save him and he looked completely shocked.

Lili: You'll get in Master Bell's way, so I'm carrying you away!

Lili then dragged Mord to a save place and Mord look at her.

Lili: You should be grateful to our leader for being such a huge softie!

Bell and his party continued to defend and fight the Goliath. Boris who was at Rivira noticed the Goliath and he looked completely shocked.

Boris: What the daylight is going on?

Asfi: Boris! Gather all the weapons and adventurers you can. We must kill the floor boss.

Boris: Don't be stupid, Andromeda! That's not just a floor boss-

Before he could finished his sentence Asfi spoke up again.

Asfi: Our escape rout... has already been cut off. We have no way to leave this floor.

They all looked completely shocked when they heard that.

Asfi: Until we defeat it, we can't escape.

Boris just closed his eyes and sighed.

Boris: Damn it. We're gonna fight that monster! Get everybody in town! Anybody who's to scared to fight will never be allowed in this city! Show them your pride as an adventurers!

Everyone in Rivira quickly prepared their weapons and rushed to where the Goliath is. Bell and the others continued to fight the Goliath and Ryuu slashed it's feat causing him stumble and allow Mikoto and Ouka to slashed his legs,. But to his gigantic body they couldn't deal any damaged.

Ryuu: Withdraw! Quickly!

They quickly got of and saw that the Goliath was charging a howl and Welf use his Will of Wisp and burn the Goliath's mouth, but it didn't stop the Goliath and they all looked completely shocked.

Welf: Crap!

Rin: I won't let you!

Rin then sent a wind blast and collied with the Goliath's howl and cause a small explosion.

Welf: Thanks, Rin!

Rin: No problem.

Rin and Ryuu continued to looked at the Goliath.

Rin: So I was right.

Ryuu: Yeah, he's no ordinary floor boss.

Rin: He could be a level 5 or 6!

The Goliath slammed his fist again and the two of them stepped back and Asfi stepped in.

Asfi: Lion. Priestess. Reinforcements are here. The city mages are going to start their incantations. The two of you keep the Goliath distracted.

Ryuu: Understood.

Rin: You make it sound so easy.

Asfi: The three of us will keep the enemy distracted.

As the three of them continued to distract the Goliath, the rest of the adventurers started attacking him with their swords and bows and arrows. The mages finished up their chant and blasted the Goliath and the Goliath managed to regenerate and everyone looked completely shocked.

Bell: Impossible...

(Elsewhere)

Sora was on his way back to the 18th floor and he saw that the path was blocked and he looked completely shocked.

Sora: What the hell is going on? First, there was a massive earthquake and suddenly the path to the 18th floor is block? I've got a bad feeling about this.

Sora then closed his eyes and he curled up his right hand into a fist and waited for a while and he opened his eyes and punched the walls that were blocking him and all the walls in front of him were destroy.

Sora: Alright!

Sora then quickly rushed to the 18th floor and saw that it was a complete chaos and he looked completely shocked to see another Goliath.

Sora: Huh?! But I thought that...? What is going on...? Monsters shouldn't go wild on the 18th floor...

Sora then rushed forward and saw Boris and he approached him.

Sora: Boris, what is going on?!

Boris looked back and he was shocked to see Sora.

Boris: Lighting Flash?! We don't know? We felt some divine energy and suddenly, the place just turn into a complete chaos. A Goliath appeared and the monsters were on the lose.

Sora: I see. That thing over there is not a normal Goliath.

Sora(mind): Goddess, might have use her divine power?

(Elsewhere)

Bell continued to slashed as many monsters as he can until, Rin, Ryuu and Asfi approached him.

Ryuu: Mr Cranel.

Bell: Ryuu?

Rin: You handle the monster nearby.

Asfi: The three of us will keep the Goliath at bay.

Bell: But...

Ryuu: We can't let them rip through us. If we can buy time, the mages that are still actives will be able to fire another shot. And if that doesn't work, we'll just have to defeat it again.

The three of them then rushed in back to the Goliath and Bell looked at them worried and he saw all the adventurers nearby was injured and he was charging up his Argonaut without even realizing. Ryuu continued to slashed the Goliath and Asfi was throwing explosive as much as possible and Rin was firing multiple spell, but due to the spell she casted during the fight with Mord, the spell she used aren't able to deal a decisive blows.

Ryuu: We need to do our part, too.

They saw that the Goliath keep healing and they were getting exhausted.

Asfi: I can't get through to its magic stone!

Rin: And my spell isn't working either! At this rate...

Ryuu: But still! If there is any chance left...

Sora who was still cutting some monsters nearby called out to Boris.

Sora: Boris! I'll leave this side to you! This place was about to calm down and I'll be heading towards the Goliath!

Boris: Right!

Everyone then heard the sound of a bell and Sora knew right away that Bell was charging up his Argonaut skill. Ryuu, Rin and Asfi knew right away as well and look at Bell.

Rin: Bell...!

Ryuu: Mr Cranel what are you...?

Asfi: Lion, Priestess, get back!

The three of them jumped away and Bell rushed in towards the Goliath and the Goliath saw this and it charged up another Howl.

Bell: FIREBOLT!!

Bell then unleashed his "Firebolt" and the Goliath unleashed his Howl attack and the two blast collided with one another and cause a huge explosion.

Bell was down on his knees exhausted and everyone saw that the Goliath's head was gone and they thought that they had won, but the heads regenerated and everyone was completely shocked.

Bell(Mind): No way...! It wasn't enough... I'm out of strength and magic power...

Ryuu: Bell, run!

The Goliath then sent another Howl towards Bell and sent him flying and he saw that the Goliath was about to punch him, but Ouka stepped in and shield him, but the punch was to strong that it sent both of them flying and everyone looked completely shocked.

Hestia: Bell!

Rin: Bell no...!

Lili: Master Bell!

Welf: Bell... Damn it...Damn it all!

Sora:...

Everyone rushed in towards Bell and Ouka and they saw that the two of them were unconscious.

Mikoto: Master Ouka!

Chigusa: Ouka!

Ryuu: Mr Cranel, Answer me!

Rin: Bell, please wake up!

Rin was healing Bell and Ouka with all her might and they saw that Hestia and Lili approached them.

Lili: Master Bell!

Hestia: Bell. How is he doing?

Rin: He's still breathing, but his wounds are deep.

Ryuu: Also, the bones in his hand and feet are most likely—

They then heard another roar and saw that Asfi was battling Goliath on her own and she called out to them.

Asfi: Lion! Priestess! Hurry and come back!

Hestia: Can the two of you go and by time as much as possible? Rin? Ryuu?

Ryuu: Still-

Hestia: You saw it, didn't you?! Bell can defeat it! Bell will get up for sure. He'll get up and defeat that monster!

Rin and Ryuu: Understood!

Rin and Ryuu then rushed in back to the Goliath and try to buy as much time as they could and Hestia was trying to get Bell to wake up.

Hestia: Open your eyes, Bell. You can hear their voice, right? They're fighting! They're doing whatever they can against that terrifying monster! You can do it, you're the only one that can do it! You're the only one that can help them! GET UP, BELL!

Bell (mind): I hear her... I can hear Goddess's voice. Fire I need to feed the fire in my heart. I need to turn it into an indestructible fire! I see where I need to go. All I need to do is go there... but my body wouldn't move.

Bell continued to stay unconscious and Hestia and Lili continued to cried out for him and they heard someone walking towards them and they saw that it was Sora.

Hestia/Lili: Sora/Master Sora!!

Sora:...

Sora didn't say anything and looked at Bell and he spoke up.

Sora: If there is a requirement for one to be called a hero. It's not to be the one that takes up the sword, nor is it to be the one who brandishes a shield. Neither is it to be the one who brings comfort to others.

Hestia and Lili looked at Sora confused, but Sora continued to speak.

Bell (mind): I know these words, I remember them. They're the words that have motivated me. They're my grandpa's.

Sora: Those who risk their own lives are the one that have the right to be called a hero! Protect your companions, save the girl, and risk yourself. I don't care if you give in, it's fine if you become disheartened, cry all you want. The winner is always found among the losers. Stick to your wish and shout out your feeling. By doing so...You become the coolest Hero.

As soon as Sora finished saying, Bell quickly rises up and both Hestia and Lili looked completely shocked. Bell then look towards Sora and he just nodded his head.

Hestia: Bell...

Bell(mind): In order to be worthy of that person and to save my precious companions, I need to surpass my limits and risk myself!

Lili: Master Bell!

Bell then saw Lili was handing him a great sword and he looked at Sora.

Sora: Alright, let's go!

Bell: Right!

Both Sora and Bell walked to where the Goliath is and everyone then sensed a huge pressure and they could heard the sound of a bell chiming throughout the 18th floor. They all looked towards the cause and saw Sora was covered in lightning and Bell's whole body was whiteish as the two of them were charging up an attack.

Mord: What is it...? That pressure and sound...?

Sora: Let your aspiration burn! And scream out your wishes!

Bell: Right!

Everyone including the Goliath saw this and Hestia knew what is going on.

Hestia: Limit Release and Limit Break!

The Goliath then charged towards them and Ryuu spoke up.

Ryuu: The Goliath recognized Sora and Bell as his enemy. We must protect them. Attack it's legs.

Ryuu then rushed in and attack it's leg causing it to fall and she started concurrent chanting. Asfi, Rin and Mikoto heard her concurrent chanting and the three of them started holding off the Goliath.

Asfi: She's using an incantation in a high speed fight like this?

Rin: I got one more trick up my sleeve. This is it.

Mikoto(mind): I can't compared to that...! Even if I can go back into battle, there is nothing I can do. But still, maybe if I use my magic, I can be of some help to them.

Multiple blue fire started surrounding Rin and Mikoto started chanting her own spell and Asfi summon her magic item that allows her to fly.

Asfi: I guess I'll have to use the one I've been saving up, too. Until Lion and Priestess finish their chanting... stay calm.

Asfi then throw an explosive towards the Goliath's eyes hurting it and both Ryuu and rin had finished their chanting.

Ryuu: LUMINOUS WIND!!

Rin: FIRESTORM!!

Both Rin and Ryuu with a combine of wind and fire creates into something even more deadlier but it didn't have any effect on the Goliath and they looked completely shocked.

Ryuu: Huh?!

Rin: No way?!

The Goliath then went to attack Rin and Ryuu, but Mikoto finally finished her chant and unleashed it.

Mikoto: FUTSUNOMITAMA!!

A massive purple swords appeared from atop the Goliath and it was a gravity cage that traps the Goliath in one place. Elsewhere, Welf was running through the forest and he was cursing himself.

Welf: Bell. That big guy...Damn! He protected Bell! I couldn't do anything! I was just standing there, helpless...! Goddess Hephaestus...! Sora...!

(Flashback)

Welf was currently talking with Hephaestus.

Welf: I will not creat magic swords.

Hephaestus just look at him.

Hephaestus: I see. If that is what you have decided. But you know Welf, you will regret not using that power...once you have obtain something of importance.

(Flashback)

Sora: I understand that you hate magic swords. I know that they can easily obtain power. They only bring arrogance to the wielder, they even corrupt them, they absolutely break and abandon their carriers. But even so....

(Flashback)

Sora and Hephaestus: Stop putting your companions in danger for your stubbornness.

(Present)

Welf: They're both right! I...I hate magic swords! But still...

Welf started searching for the Magic Sword that he dropped at the forest.

Welf: Hey, where are you?! Answer me!! I know very well that this is an absurd situation! I dropped you and now I need you to lend me your power! But there's someone that I wanted to help...! PLEASE...

Welf then saw a faint glow and saw the Magic Swords stabbed on the ground and he smiled. Back with Sora and Bell and Mikoto was still keeping the Goliath and she was being pushed back.

Mikoto: Only a little...Just a little bit more! To buy you some time...!

The Goliath then managed to broke through the Gravity cage and rushed towards Sora and Bell until Welf shouted.

Welf: You guys! If you don't want to die, move!

Everyone saw Welf rushing towards Goliath holding his Magic Swords and he blasted the Goliath and everyone was shocked by the power of the swords.

Welf: Fire Moon!

Rin: Wow... what power?

Ryuu: That's Crozzo's Magic Swords!

Asfi: The power of a Magic Swords is stronger than the original magic?! It's to great!

The swords then break and both Sora and Bell had finished charging up and Sora looked at Bell.

Sora: Bell! After me!

Bell: Right!

Everyone then saw that Sora rushed in towards the Goliath and both Kanshou and Bakuya was surrounded with Lighting and Electricity.

Sora: This ends now!!!

Sora then used one of his strongest attack and hit the Goliath with both swords, causing blue aura streaks to fill the entire 18th floor and everyone looked completely shocked from how much force he was hitting him with.

Sora: YOUR DONE!!!

Sora then hit Goliath with the final hit and slashed it's face and the Goliath exploded. After the smoke cleared away, everyone saw that the Goliath's upper body had been wrecked but Sora missed the magic stones and the Goliath started regenerating.

Rin: No way...!

Ryuu: Even that attack...

Welf: Screw this!

Sora: NOW BELL!

Everyone then saw that Bell had also finished charging up and he rushed towards the Golitah who is still regenerating.

Hestia: In the face of overwhelming power, you can resist with that one little attack.

Sora: Bell, what you possess is...

Sora and Hestia: The Hero's Strike!!

Bell then strike the Goliath and obliterated the remaining half killing it. Everyone saw that both Sora and Bell had just finished the Goliath and they all started cheering.

Ryuu: They defeated it...

Rin: They won...

Lili: Master Bell! Master Sora! They did it!

Mord: Not bad, Lighting Flash, Little Rookie.

Everyone then rushed towards them and Hestia and lili started hugging Bell and Rin started hugging Sora and Hermes who was watching the whole thing started laughing.

Hermes: Ah glorious! I have seen it! I, Hermes, have seen it! The parting gift of Zeus! Who says that the white-haired boy has no guts! Who says that the black-haired boy has no character! Do not say Zeus! I'm glad! Both your grandsons is genuine! They are the final "Hero" that your "Familia" has left behind. It's coming, it's coming! A new era is coming! Something that will shake up the times in the world of Orario! The [Champion], Ottar. The [Lightning Flash], Sora Yatagami. [Nine Hells], Riveria Ljos Alf. [Elgram], Gareth Landrock. The [Braver] Finn Deimne. The [Sword Princess], Aiz Wallenstein. The [Berserk Healer], Asuna Yuuki. With so many heroes gathered, it's impossible that nothing can happen!! I can see it, I can see it well! How they will carve their names into History! Until the day of their deaths! The story they create, tied by the loves of their Gods. The [Myth of the Familia]!

(Timeskip)

After defeating Goliath and retuning back to the surface, they were quickly greeted by Eina, Miach, Takemikazuchi, Hephaestus, Mama Mia, Syr, Anya, Lunoire, and Chloe as they all rushed in and Eina hugged both Bell and Sora. With Welf returning back to Hephaestus and Freya who was watching from Babel smiled at them. Bell and Sora and the rest celebrates their return and defeating Goliath at the hostess of fertility along with the Loki Familia.

Welf: Their resolve were crazy!

Rin: The way they moved in sync is incredible!

Hestia and Loki glaring at each other, with Riveria trying to stop Bete from drinking to many Alcohol, with Tiona and Tione trying to help Lefiya with her jealousy towards Sora and Asuna, and Bell and Aiz smiling at one another.

Aiz: You worked hard.

Hestia and Lili immediately rushed and hugged Bell with Aiz stabbing Loki with a fork and they all saw Sora and Asuna leaning on against each other which cause the wrath of Hestia and Loki.

Asuna: I'm so proud of you.

Everyone continues to have fun with one another as they all smile at each other.

(Timeskip)

The next day arrived and Sora, Rin, Welf and Lili was outside the church looking to what is inside them and they couldn't help but smile at the scene.

Sora and Hestia: You really worked hard. Didn't you, Bell?

A/N: Alright, this is the final for season one. Honestly it has been a wild ride writing these, and I enjoyed it a lot. After this will be Danmachi: Arrows of Orion. I still want to take a break first. But I will continue this book, so don't worry. And as always, I hope you enjoy this final chapter.
