No one's POV

(Flashback )

Sora was on a mission with Zeus Familia and the Hera Familia members to kill the great 3 legendary beast. Sora had just reach level 3 and Zeus and Hera told the rest of the Familia members to be careful. Sora looked toward his mentor and he spoke up.

Mentor: Be careful okay? This beast is different from Behemoth and Leviathan!

Sora: Right!

The Familia members and Sora all charged toward the Black Dragon and started fighting. Sora was at the frontline with his mentor and Asuna was with her mentor and the two of them were casting spells to kill the Black Dragon.

Asuna: Maelstrom!!

Asuna's mentor: Aerial!!

The Spell casters managed to deal some damaged and Sora used his Flashing Strike to slashed down the Black Dragon, but the Black Dragon let out a terrifying roar and sent a massive blast and wiped out the Familia. Sora's and Asuna's Mentor managed to pushed them both out of the way.

Zeus: Everyone!!

Sora then saw his dead comrade before his eyes and he was completely and utterly shocked. Sora then let out a heaven piercing roar.

Sora: AAAAAHHHHHH!!

Zeus: Sora?

Sora then turned into something that Zeus never saw before. Sora was envelop with lighting through out his body and sent a massive Electric blast towards the Black Dragon then let out a roar which cause a massive earthquake and it retreated.

Zeus: Oh My!

Sora then fell toward his knees completely exhausted and he saw that his mentor and Asuna's mentor is still moving and he approached them.

Sora: Uncle... Aunt...

Aunt: To think your the same as me...

Uncle: Sora can you promised me... that you'll protect our daughter?

Sora: I will! You can count on it!

Aunt: Good!

Sora then saw that his Uncle and Aunt closed their eyes and died right before his eyes and Sora started crying. Zeus come to Sora's side and hugged him tightly.

Zeus: Its okay...

Sora: Gramps...

(Timeskip)

Sora had brought and unconscious Asuna to the Zeus Familia house and when she woke up, Sora told Asuna what happened and she started crying. After the quest, Asuna said that she would like to go to Orario and Sora told Asuna about the promised he made and Asuna smiled and nodded at him and bid farewell to Sora and Zeus.

Sora: Gramps...

Zeus: What is it?

Sora: I think I would like to go on a journey...

Zeus: Where are you going?

Sora: I would like to see the world and think what should I do from here on out. So can you please take care of Bell for me?!

Zeus then smiled at him and hand over him a piece of book.

Soar: Is this?

Zeus: It's one of my greatest creation. It was the story of the Flash Hero. Read it from time to time, and stay safe okay?

Sora then smiled at Zeus and hugged him tightly and the both of them started crying.

Sora: I love you gramps...

Zeus: I love you too...

(Present)

It was morning and Sora woke up in cold sweat and his breath started to get heavy but soon calmed down and he looked in the mirror and saw that he had tears in his eyes.

Sora: To think it's been 8 years since it happened.

Sora then saw that Bell had woken up and Bell was surprised to see him

Bell: Sora? When did you come home?

Sora then smiled at Bell.

Sora: I think it was around midnight. I did say that I would be home late. So how did the shopping go?

Bell: Oh right. Here let me show you the gear I bought!

Bell and Sora were getting ready to go to the dungeon and Sora was dressed in his usual gear and saw Bell's new gear and he was surprised.

Bell: Okay!

Sora: Nice! You finally looked like a full fledged adventurer.

Bell: Thanks Sora!

Sora: So how much did all of this cost?

Bell: I think it's around 215 thousand valis...

Sora: Well then shall we go?

Bell then nodded and both Sora and Bell left the church and started heading to the dungeon. During the way Bell had told Sora that Goddess Hestia had another job.

Sora: Another part time job?

Bell: Yeah, she is working on the Hephaestus Familia workshop. She said something about not relying on us that much to make money.

Sora: Let me guess, she protest that she won't quit?

Bell: Yeah, she did...

Sora: Knowing her stubborn attitude, we won't win against her if she's like that. So all we got to do is support her the best we can to provide not just for ourselves but for her as well.

Bell then smiled and nodded his head and during the way Bell told Sora about the shopping he and Eina did yesterday and Sora also told Bell about his adventure to the 40th floor. But Sora didn't told Bell about the murderer and the red tamer cause not wanting him to get involve. Sora then told Bell some about training him and Bell just smiled, but suddenly someone tugged Sora's shirt from behind and Sora saw it was a pallum.

???: Mr Adventurer. White and Black haired adventurer!

Bell: Huh?

Sora: Yes, can we help you?

Bell: H-Huh? Aren't you the girl from yesterday?

Sora: Do you know her?

Bell shook his head denying it and the girl spoke up.

???: This may be sudden, but would you both be in need of a supporter?

Sora(mind): This seems fishy...

Bell: S-Supporter

???: Yes! Does the sudden offer confuse you, sir? But it's a simple story. A poor supporter who wants to share a little in an adventurers booties, is selling herself.

Sora: I don't mind... though you'll have to ask him.

Bell: Th-That's not it... Didn't I see you yesterday?

Lili: Yesterday? Have you seen Lili before? Lili doesn't remember it.

Sora: Hmm?

Lili: What do you guys think of having a supporter?

Sora: Sure, I don't mind...

Bell: Well, I guess we need one if there's one?

Lili then smiled happily and looked at us.

Lili: Really? Then would you take Lili with you sir?

Sora: Well that's okay...

Sora then noticed that her behavior changes and she was smirking. Sora knew right away that she was hiding something.

Sora(mind): What are you up too?

Sora and Bell and Lili sit down at the fountain and Lili started introducing herself.

Lili: Lili's name is Liliruka Ade, from Soma Familia.

Bell: Hah, then why us? Why don't you party with people from your own Familia?

Lili: Ehehe, Lili can't.

Sora: Why not?

Lili: As you can see, Lili is small and weak, so they don't let a weak party like her in.

Sora(mind): She's shunned within her Familia...?

Lili: Lili feels uneasy at home, so she moves from one inn to another. But she's run out off money.

Lili started begging Sora and Bell about wanting to go adventurer with them and both Sora and Bell just smiled at her.

Bell: We understand your situation, but can I check one thing?

Lili: Sure what is it?

Bell: Are you sure we haven't met before? If you don't mind, could you take off your hood?

Lili: Yes sir...

Lili then took off her hoodie and Bell was shocked that she was a therianthrope not a pallum but Sora realized that she was using magic to changed her appearance.

Bell: A Therianthrope?

Sora(mind): So, she change her appearance.

Lili: Y-Yes, Lili is a therianthrope.

Bell then started touching her ears and Sora just looked at him dumbfounded and Lili started to blushed. Sora quickly ask Bell to stopped and Lili bowed her head in appreciation.

Lili: So what do you both say? Do you want to hire Lili?

Sora: Do we need to pay some sort of deposit or something?

Lili: We're having a trial run for today, so we can just share the profits from the dungeon. Lili would be happy if she gets just 30%!

Bell: Okay. I'm sorry for the late introduction, but my name is Bell Cranel.

Sora: And my name is Sora Yatagami.

Bell and Sora then smiled at Lili.

Bell: Lili, We'll ask you to be our supporter for today.

Lili: Thank you Sir!

Sora: Okay, lets go then.

Bell: To the dungeon!

Lili: Right!

(Timeskip)

Bell and Sora had made contract with Lili to be their supporter and after that the three of them head towards the dungeon and started taking monsters right and left and at the end of the day after they had thought the had killed all monster, a new monster appeared from the wall behind Lili and Bell immediately kicked it and killed it.

Sora: Nice kick Bell!

Bell: Thanks!

Bell and Sora then fist bumped and Lili looked at the both of them surprised.

Lili: Master Bell, Master Sora, the both of you are strong.

Sora: Thank you!

Lili: But, what should we do with this?

Sora: What to do indeed...

Bell: Well then lets cut it apart!

Lili: Very well, lets start picking them apart.

Lili started to cut a hole and took out the magic stone from inside the monster.

Bell: Wow, Ms Lili you're very good at gathering magic stones.

Lili: I'm hardly as impressive as you imply. This is all I'm good for, honestly.

Sora:...

Bell: Well, Ms Lili, you don't have to address us as Master.

Lili: Master Bell! Master Sora! Just call me Lili. No Ms please.

Bell: Why are you so worried about the formalities?

Lili: Can't you see? The label supporters brings to mind an image of an indispensable resources, but the job is in fact similar to porters. In an eyes of honorable adventurers who risk their life to fight monsters, we supporters are only parasites trying to suck them dry while doing nothing. We supporters would be deemed arrogant if we ask recognition equal to that of adventurers. If a rumor spread that I act so impudent, any other adventurers besides the two of you would refuse to do business with me...

Sora: Stop right there!

Lili then stopped talking and the both of them looked at Sora.

Sora: Who cares about the whole labeling thing? The adventurers and supporters are all the same. All of us are trying our hardest to make a living, to survive. Even the supporters who support adventurers are all the same. You supporters also risk your life by going to the dungeon everyday to help adventurers. I know that there are some adventurers that are cocky, arrogant, and so full of themselves, that they don't think of other people other that themselves. But the two of us aren't like that. Me and Bell see you as an equal, nothing more, nothing less!

Bell: That's right...

Lili was surprised by Sora's word and she had a sad smiled, but she quickly and went back to her old cheerful self.

Lili: That's not wrong I admit it but the way you guys fought is like a seasoned adventurers?

Bell: I still have a long ways to go.

Lili: Well, I assume your strength lies not only on your status, but also in your weapon...

Sora noticed that Lili was looking at the Hestia knife with a grin face.

Bell: I think so. Perhaps I rely on this knife a little t0 much.

Sora: Same goes for me...

Lili: No, as long as you can control your weapon and not let it control you instead. By the way where did you both obtain such blades? Pardon my rudeness, but a rookie like you wouldn't have had enough money.

Bell: it was from our Goddess. It seemed she persuade her friend to make it.

Lili: She must be quite the Goddess. Now than Mr Bell. Lets pick out the killer ant magic stone.

Sora: I'll gonna go and collect the other magic stone that are on the ground.

Sora then went away and started collecting magic stone and Sora saw Bell approached the killer ant to grabbed the magic stone. Sora then saw that Lili snatch away the Hestia Knife and Sora just narrow his eyes.

Sora(mind): I knew it. But why though? You always had a cheerful face but hold a very big pain in your eyes.

After collecting all the other stones Lili wanted to call it a day and the three of them head their way out of the dungeon.

Sora(mind): Liliruka Ade, what are you hiding?

(Timeskip)

After they made it out the dungeon, they went their separate ways. Bell went towards the guild and wanted to talk with Miss Eina while Sora started following Lili. Sora saw that Lili went toward a store in the back ally and after waiting for 10 minutes Lili got out looking angry and was holding the Hestia knife.

Sora(mind): Looks like she tried to sell it. Wouldn't blame her if the enchantment didn't work for her. She would make a fortune.

Sora was still following Lili and Sora saw that she had encounter with Ryuu and Syr.

Ryuu: I'm sorry Syr, to have forced you to carry the baggage.

Syr: No, it's okay...

Lili then passed through them and Ryuu quickly stooped her.

Ryuu: Stop right there you little pallum! Please show me the knife you just put on your sleeve.

Sora(mind); Woah, she managed to see that? That's impressive.

Syr: Huh, Ryuu?

Lili: Why?

Ryuu: The knife has carved hieroglyphics appears similar to the one owned by my acquaintance. So I'd like to check it.

Sora(mind): In this dark ally? What incredible vision she has...

Lili then showed Ryuu the knife and had a nervous smile on her face.

Lili: Too bad, but this is mine. Don't go throwing accusations!

Ryuu: Nonsense!

Ryuu then emanated this powerful aura which Sora could sense it and it was suffocating.

Ryuu: Don't move please!

Lili then started running and Ryuu quickly grabbed an apple from the bag and throw at Lili but Sora caught the apple and Ryuu looked surprised.

Sora: I'm sorry for the trouble that my companion has caused you.

Sora then throw the apple back to her.

Ryuu: Do you know her, Sora?

Sora: Yes, she is me and Bell supporter. Isn't that right, Lili?

Lili: Ye-Yes!

Lili then looked down.

Sora: I'm glad that you managed to find Bell's knife. Have you have any chance found it when we're leaving the dungeon?

Ryuu then felt a suffocating presence from Sora.

Lili: Yes...

Sora then whispered something.

Sora (whisper): Please don't try anything funny? Its gonna be hard to get you off the hook like that.

Lili's body started to shivers through Sora's word and Sora grabbed the knife from Lili and hand it over to Ryuu.

Sora: If you don't mind Ryuu, could you hold on to this and make it looks like your the one who found it?

Ryuu: Uh, sure...

The four of them made they're way out of the dark alley and they managed to stumble upon Bell wandering around searching for his Hestia knife. Bell noticed us and quickly panicked.

Bell: Sora! Lili! Oh please don't be mad Sora...

Sora: What's wrong?

Bell: I lost my knife...

Sora: Don't worry, Ryuu found it...

Ryuu then gave the Hestia knife to Bell and Bell started holding Ryuu's hand thanking her.

Bell: That's my knife.. thank you so much Ryuu!

Ryuu then started blushing and looked away.

Ryuu: Mr Cranel, you shouldn't do that. You should this kind of thing to Syr, not me.

Syr then had a flustered look.

Syr: What are you talking about?!

Bell then grabbed the knife and Lili could sense the magic surrounding it and she looked surprised.

Bell: You'd help me out! Where was it?

Ryuu: I didn't found it. Some pallum had it.

Bell: A pallum?

Ryuu: I chase the pallum and stumbled upon Mr Yatagami here and he managed to clear things up.

Sora: Yeah, it was close though!

Sora then saw then Syr walking towards Lili and whispered something which he overhears.

Syr(whisper): Don't fool around to much, or you'll get in trouble.

Sora(mind): Scary...

Lili shivers through her word and the two of them bid farewell to Sora and Bell.

Lili: Master Bell! Master Sora! Who are those people?

Bell: They are servers at a pub.

Sora: A famous one called the hostess of fertility.

Lili: Hey...

Bell: What?

Sora: What is it?

Lili: Please don't ever take Lili there.

(Timeskip)

The next day the three of them made their way tho the dungeon and at the end of the day they Bell and Lili was surprised by how much they earned, while Sora just looked normal.

Bell and Lili: 26 thousands valis?!

Bell: It's not a dream, right? All this money!

Sora: Of course not.

Lili: Wow, Master Bell! Master Sora! You made more than five man party of Level 1 adventurers just the two of you!

Sora: You know what they say, if you praise a rabbit, it'll come a tree!

Bell: That must be it!

Lili: Okay, lets split the loot.

Bell: Oh, Right!

Sora: Here you go!

Bell and Sora then hand her the loot half of the one they got and Lili looked confused.

Lili: Master Bell! Master Sora! Why are we splitting it evenly? Aren't you guys going to try and take it all for yourself?

Bell: Huh? Why? We never could have earned this much on our own.

Sora: Yeah, it was because you were there. It's all thanks to you, Lili.

Bell: Let's keep working together!

Bell and Sora gave Lili a warmed smile and she just looked at them completely confused. She then started to looked down.

Lili: You guys are weird.

Sora: Bell, you can go on ahead! I would like to talk with Lili for awhile.

Bell: Okay.

Bell then went home alone and Lili looked at Sora confused and he just smiled at her.

Sora: Hey do you remember what I said? That not all adventurer are the same. You don't need to steal his knife to make a living. If the three of us work hard together, we can earned much more money then just stealing from it. Just looked at the money we got today. Lili if you're ever in trouble, you can just either me or Bell and the two won't hesitate to come and help you, okay?

Lili didn't say anything and just to looked down saddened and she was shocked to see that Sora was head patting her.

Sora: Just think it over and you'll realize it, okay?

Sora then walked away and Lili ponders of what Sora had just told her about.
