No one's POV

Two days after the Seven Deadly Days. Due to the recent events, people gathered in the gates, since they wanted to leave Orario, but were unable to do it as bombs were thrown over them. Evilus was attacking them from the walls and had surrounded the city in order to prevent people from leaving and reinforcements from coming.

Loki and Finn discussed their situation, conscious it could make the citizens turn against them at any moment. Gareth joined them, making Finn wonder if he had already recovered, to which the Dwarf replied he was already fine. After being informed of what had happened he asked where were the rest, seeing there was no one else. Finn told him they had stablished their final defense in the Central Park in order to prevent that their enemy destroyed Babel, which he thought was their goal. And as they were discussing the recent event, Raul came reporting their camp for citizens in the industrial district was under attack.

Gareth: I'll go Finn. I'm assuming we have a shortage of people who can fight.

Finn: The industrial district will be fine. We have already have Riveria headed there. Along with the Berserk Healer.

Gareth: What?! Are you saying you trust that blue elf?!

Finn: I'm not trusting her fully. But Riveria saw that girl as if she was her own daughter. And Riveria already had a discussion with that elf, and she said that she trusted her.

Gareth: If you say so. But what about that Flash Kid?

Finn: We ask some Familia to watch over him, but not a single one of them want to. But right now, the Astraea Familia are watching him right now.

(Elsewhere)

In the industrial district, Aiz defeated a great number of Evilus members and was lectured by Riveria due to her reckless attitude.

Riveria: I told you to slow down, Aiz! Damn it. Try to understand my feeling a bit...!

Asuna: So she's the famous Doll Girl. Now I understand why people were calling her Doll.

Riveria: Finn, you're so dead.

After Aiz defeated the last of the Evilus member, she was stained with blood all over her body.

Aiz: It's done.

Riveria quickly came rushing towards her, and smack her in the head.

Aiz: Guh!

Riveria: We aren't done yet, you idiot! The city of Orario is more dangerous than the Dungeon now. Try to think before you act!

Aiz: Ouch...

Asuna: Well, please try to understand, Mother's Reveria's feeling. She's injured from the previous battle.

Riveria: And don't give me that face. You should've listened to me, but you didn't. Why is that?!

Aiz: Because I knew I could defeat them all.

Asuna: What kind of answer is that?!

Aiz: Plus, like this blue elf said, Riveria, you're hurt.

Asuna: I have a name and that is Asuna!!

Aiz: I don't care! Its because of you, that Riveria is hurt!!

Asuna: Why you little girl!!

Both Asuna and Aiz were glaring at one another. Riveria could only sigh at the scene and smack the both of them in the head.

Aiz and Asuna: Ouch...

Riveria: Stop fighting, both of you!!

Aiz: B-But, Riveria. Its because...

Riveria: Aiz, I appreciate your thoughtfulness. But you must understand that I feel the same towards you. I'd be devastated to see you getting hurt. It'd be worse than getting myself injured.

Riveria then looked at Asuna for a second and saw that she was looking down.

Riveria: And don't blame it on Asuna. It's thanks to her that I managed to survived that night. And right now, Asuna is currently being hated by the whole of Orario, and is our job to support her.

Asuna look at Riveria surprise. Riveria was defending her. Its only been two days since the Great Feud, and the whole Orario was practically glaring and trash talking down on Sora and Asuna every chance they get. While Asuna, still have Riveria to support her, Sora was had to bear it all on his own.

Riveria: So I want you two to make up.

Aiz and Asuna look at each other and Asuna look away felling guilty, but Aiz just nodded her head.

Aiz: Okay. I got it, Riveria.

Aiz then looked at Asuna.

Aiz: I'm sorry for saying that rude things. I may not know how you felt, but I hope we could get along... A-Asuna, was it?

Asuna look at Aiz and she nodded her head.

Asuna: I'm sorry too. I yelled at you without considering your feeling.

(Elsewhere)

In another part of the city, despite their efforts during the Great Feud and the fact they had been working non stop since then, and the Astraea Familia were currently heading towards the temporary campsite along with Sora.

Lyra: Are we done here

Kaguya: Yup. I can't sense any lives now. Even if I did, it'd be silent corpses. By the way, you look awful.

Lyra: Would you like a miror? You look like crap too, just so you know.

Everyone of the Astraea Familia continue to tend to wounds and after they were done, the leader of the Familia, Alise Lovell look at the person who is currently being put under surveillance.

Alise: Are you sure you don't know anything, about what they are planning.

Sora: How many times do I have to say it? I told you that, I thought that they had died. Its not everyday you find out that the person you look up too as a Mother was alive and was doing this horrible thing!

Ryuu:...

Ryuu continues to glare at Sora and Sora just ignores her gaze.

Alise: Keep your head up, Lion. If you want to say something to him then say it. Don't keep things to yourself. You'll explode one day. We're almost arriving at the temporary campsite. When we arrive there, we should-

Multiple citizens then complained to Astraea Familia necause they had been unable to protect them. A woman blamed them for the death of her child, which Ryuu identified as the girl that had thanked her and Alise the other day.

Ryuu: !!!

Alise:...

They were practically throwing stones towards the girls and Ryuu was starting to have a mental breakdown when they were already giving at their all. And as they were being thrown by rocks, Sora step up.

Sora: That's enough!!!

Everyone: !!!

Sora then walked passed the Astraea Familia and stood in front of the crowd.

Sora: If you want to pin the blame on someone, then pin the blame on me!! It was my Familia that was the cause of all this suffering...

Citizens 1: T-Then, you deserve to die!!!

Citizens 2: Give me back my child!!

They were all started throwing rocks towards Sora, and he just stood there accepting the punishment. Blood started appearing from every parts of his body and the Astraea Familia were shocked when they saw that Sora, who was under their surveillance was standing up for them.

Astraea Familia: ?!?!

Sora: If only I was stronger... I could've protected someone you care... I'm really sorry...

Sora bowed down his head and started prostrating himself.

Alise: Flash...

Citzens 1: Your words aren't helping... Our child would've been alive if it wasn't for you...

The girl then pinned Sora to the ground and started punching him on the face.

But Sora gave no resistance. He continues to let the woman punch him.

Mother A: She was still so young. How dare you! I'm going to kill you!!

Sora: Then do it...

Everyone: ?!?!

Sora look at them with blood all over his face. You could no longer identify his face any longer as the citizens were all killing him. But Sora gave them a look of sympathy telling them that its alright to take their anger out on him, instead of the girls.

Sora: If my life, could make up for your child's lost, then I'll gladly exchange my life for theirs...

The Mother's hand were practically trembling when she saw Sora's face. Her hand was stained in blood. Sora was ready to gave his life, hoping that all of this hatred, all of this sadness, could be wiped away. The Astraea Familia were practically trembling when they saw Sora ready to risk his life just to defend them. Suddenly the father of the child came rushing towards his wife stopping her from killing Sora.

Father A: Hey. Cut it out. You shouldn't raise your hand on someone, who is not resisting...! It was this boy, who made that rain drop that heal all of our wound...!

Mother A: B-But, it was his Familia that our child was gone!!

Father: I know that!! But our child was saved by this adventurer once... but then... Oh, how could this happen...!

Both of them were crying. Ryuu identified as the girl that had thanked her and Alise the other day. Overwhelmed by all of it, Ryuu collapsed while remembering Erebus question about what was justice.

Lyra: Hey, Lion? Lion! Get back on your feet! Damn it. Girls, I need help!

The rest of the girls went to help Ryuu, but Alise went towards Sora helping him sat up.

Alise: Are you alright...?

Sora: You don't need to help me. This is my punishment, for their wrongdoing...

Alise: But, its not your fault...

Sora: It is, considering that my Mother was the one that did it...

Sora said while passing out due to blood lost and before he hits the ground, Alise caught him.

Alise: Hey! Hey! Please hang in there, Flashing Strike!!!

Alise keeps calling him by his Alias, since Sora never tell them his name. He thought that everyone was hating him, so it would be pointless to tell them his name and so he keeps quiet about it.

(Timeskip)

It was late at night, and Sora woke up in a bed that he didn't recognized.

???: It seems that your awake...

Sora looked to his right and saw a Goddess sitting next to him. She had a long walnut brown hair that is gathered together behind her head in a dignified manner, along with deep indigo eyes that are reminiscent of a sea of stars. She wears a simple kirtle and a long skirt.

Sora: And you are...?

Astraea: It's nice to meet you. My name is Astraea...

Sora: Astraea...? The Goddess of Justice, Astraea?

Astraea: Yes. It seems that you are feeling well. The girls told me what you did for them. I am truly grateful for what you've done.

Sora: You don't need to thank me. This is my punishment...

Astraea: Punishment? What punishment...?

Sora: I hope that, it could get rid of all of the hatred and anger towards my Mother and sensei...

Astraea: Even when they decided to do all those wrongdoing. You're still standing up for them... That just show, how much you care about them. You feels like that it was your job, to save them from the darkness... You truly are a kind person...

Sora:...

Astraea: You said, that you want to meet up with them. What are you going to say when you do?

Sora stay silent for a few seconds until he spoke up.

Sora: I want to know the true reason why they're doing this? When I first heard that they were alive, I was so happy that I want to see them right away. But, when I saw what they were doing, I felt like my heart has shattered into a million pieces...

Astraea:...

Sora: The person who I look up to as a Mother, were doing this such horrible things...

Tears started streaming down his eyes. He was devastated. He wanted to meet up with them right away, but he couldn't.

He was being guarded 24/7. He doesn't want to use force, if he did, the hatred of the people would increase even further. When suddenly, Astraea sat beside him on his bed and hugged him tightly.

Sora: Eh...?

Astraea: Just let it all out... Thank you, for everything you've done... After what I saw this past few days, you were taking all of the blames on yourself. Now I know, that you were suffering this whole time. Just let it out...

Sora cried. He couldn't hold it any longer. There was someone who would stand beside him, even when the whole world was against him.

Sora: Thank you...

(Timeskip)

After Sora cried, he and Astraea started talking with one another. Sora told her about what he has been through after the three great quest. He and Asuna had been on a journey, from places to places, searching for Heroes that could succeed after them. And Astraea share her own story, on how she love every bit of her Familia. How she likes to tease, her children. And after they share their story, Astraea said that he could go and that surprise him.

Sora: I can go? If I leave, that would mean that I'm an enemy to you guys. That would make them think that I turned my back on you guys.

Astraea: Its fine. I will explain to them, that it was under my divine will, that I let you go.

Sora: But...

Astraea: You want to meet up with her right?

Sora: ?!

Sora look at Astraea shock, and she continues to smile at him.

Astraea: You can go...

Sora: Thank you, Lady Astraea...

Astraea: Do you know, where they are?

Sora: Yes, I do. They could only be at that place...

Sora then left the Stardust Garden. He finally had some alone time, and he went to the place where his Mother Alfia, and his sensei would be and it was none other than the abandon church. This the place, where Meteria, would constantly bring Alfia and Sora to come .

Sora:...

Sora quickly step inside and he quickly saw the two people that he wanted to see this past few days.

Zald: So you finally made it, brat...

Alfia: I'm surprise you managed to slip past their surveillance...

Sora: Mother... Zald sensei...

Sora stood there between the two people he look up the most. The person who taught him how to use a sword, and the person who taught him how to use magic.

Sora...

He wanted to say something, but it seemed that he couldn't fine the right word. Both Zald and Alfia already drawn their weapons, but Sora still refuses to draw his sword. Until Alfia broke the silence.

Alfia: It has been awhile, brat...

Sora: Mother...

Alfia: Will you please stop calling me that. I am not your Mother, and you are not my son...

Sora: Why...?

Zald: Hmm...?

Sora: Why...? Why are you doing this...? We were Familia that protected this city. Why are you with Evilus now, threatening Orario?

Zald: Hey, can't you see that I've already drawn my sword? Or what, do you have to know what the enemy is fighting for before you battle? I pretty sure, I didn't taught you that...

Sora: Your my sensei. I think I deserve to know...

Zald: Well whatever. It was just an extension of our disappointment.

Sora: Is it because, that there is no Hero other than us, at the current age?

Alfia: As usual, you catch on quick. That's right. Everything, including the existence of Orario. That's all.

Sora: That doesn't mean that you just destroyed a city because of your disappointment!

Alfia: That what about you? Aren't you disappointed by this world...?

Sora: What do you mean...?

Alfia: I know all about your journey. In the end, you found no Hero that can succeed after you, am I wrong?

Sora look down.

Sora: No your not.

Alfia: The era of Gods is going to end, because we're going to end it.

Zald and Alfia: So long...

Sora: ?!?!

Zald suddenly rushed towards Sora with blinding speed, but Sora was faster than him and he brought out Kanshou and Bakuya and blocked the attacked in cross slit pattern.

But Sora wasn't able to withstand the force of his sensei's power and he was brought down to his knees.

Zald: You've gotten stronger, brat...

Sora: Sensei...

Zald then stepped back and Sora saw that Alfia had extended her hand as she chanted her spell.

Alfia: Gospel...

Sora: Mother...

It was a super short chant magic belonging to Alfia. It's not a grand magic that can freeze the enemies or turn the enemies into ashes. It's just magic that beats the enemy using an invincible block of sounds, turning them into dead flesh. Its firepower was enough to take down the famous [Elgram] that is known for his defense in 1 move. Taking the direct hit of Alfia's magic, Sora was blown together with loud noises.

Sora: GAH!!!

Sora weakly stood up. Blood was flowing out from his eyes, ears, nose, and various part of his body was bleeding. His vision was distorted as he couldn't see anything clearly.

Alfia: You got taken down that easily. You really are a disappointment of a child...

Sora:...

???: Alright now, don't kill him to quickly...

Sora saw that it was Erebus.

Sora: Demon Lord...Erebus...

Erebus: I'm a God, but I'm still amazed with what fate is capable of doing... We've met in the place where your faith is all built upon.

Sora: What are you doing here?

Erebus: I've been wanting to meet up with you. Zald's student and Alfia's son.

Sora: What do you want?

Erebus: I'm not here to fight. I just like having you as a listener as I talk about silly things. Let me ask you, what is justice...?

Sora: ?!

Erebus: What is your definition of justice? You came rushing in, and said that you will fight absolute malevolence with absolute justice. Now tell me, what is your definition of justice...?

Alfia:...

Zald:...

Sora:...

Sora didn't say anything. He continue to stay quiet and everyone was looking towards him. As he finally open his eyes and spoke up.

Sora: There are many things that defines justice as there are stars.

Alfia, Zald, Erebus: ?!?!

Sora: I probably couldn't give you an actual answer. But if your asking me this kind of things, than that means that you guys are seeking something other than destruction...

Erebus(mind): He figure it out just by one question. No wonder why Alfia says he was talented.

Sora: We children will come up of all sorts of interesting things. So to me, justice is not about making decision. It's about reaching for it and win it.

Alfia: Oh...

Sora: I want to make a miracle. Change the impossible to possible... That's my definition of justice... and also... The path of the Hero that I have chosen!

Sora told Erebus what his definition of justice and Erebus couldn't help but look at him in awe.

Erebus(mind): He knows...

Sora: I told you mine... Now will you tell me yours...?

Erebus: Very well... I'll tell you. But if you won this war... So you better survive...

Sora:...

Zald: Brat... Next time we meet. I'll end your life...

Alfia: We'll be seeing you again soon. Hope you survive long enough...

Sora: Mother... Zald Sensei...

Alfia: Before you go, tell me one thing. Are you disappointed in this world and us...?

Sora look at her and thought for a moment until he spoke up.

Sora: No.

Zald: Oh...

Sora: I could never be disappointed in you. I could never hate you nor get angry at you. That's something that I could never come to do. I'm sure that there's more of a reason that the both of you are doing this. In either of you. Even though its wrong.

Alfia: Then why don't you hate me for what I have done...?

Sora: If I did. I would be spreading hatred instead of love.

Alfia, Zald, Erebus: ?!?!

Sora: I want everyone to smile. I would continue to be the foolish boy that you guys see in me. Even if, you want to spread hate to this world, even if you are disappointed in this world... Even if the entire worlds hate you...

Sora then looked at Alfia with the most beautiful smile he could give and Alfia look at him completely and utterly shocked by the words he gave her.

Sora: Know that there will always be a single child out there that will love you until the end of time, Mother...

Alfia: ?!?!

Sora: Next time I see you. It will be on the battlefield...

Sora then left them and the three of them were silence.

Erebus: Now I see what you both meant. That boy might be the one the make a difference.

Zald: Indeed he will...

Alfia:...

Zald and Erebus look at Alfia confused to why she was silent. Until they saw that tears started streaming down her eyes.

Alfia: My...foolish... Son...

Zald: Like I said, Alfia. Nothing we do will make that boy hate us.

Alfia: I know...

Erebus: The both of you sure have an interesting child there...
