6.2: The True Power of the Radio Demon Part 2

Meanwhile inside the warehouse, all was peaceful and silent. Flask and his loan sharks doing whatever to try and pass the time with some playing poker only for screams and commotion could be heard outside which made the loan sharks grab and readied their weapons and point at the entrance.

"Mm?" Allison looked at the door of the warehouse as she was still dangling from the chain above a container filled with acid.

"What the fuck is going on outside?" Flask mutters and takes out his walkie-talkie to try and communicate with the two men guarding the entrance.

"Report! What the hell is that noise?!" He questioned them but The only thing that could be heard through the transmitter was the haunting sound of static and some screaming could be heard.

"Hello? Are you there? Tell me what’s going on!" Flask shouted through the walkie-talkie.

At first there was silence and the screams slowly but then the static was gone indicating that someone was answering which made Flask want to rip their head out of their body.

"Finally! You fuckers better tell me what the heck was that noise outside or else you’ll be enjoying a hot acid bath." He shouted and the walkie-talkie crackled to life followed by a voice.

"You made a huge mistake, my dear friend. And now you will pay for what you did." The cryptic message and threat were followed by loud bangs from the metal doors of the warehouse as the doors were getting dented from something outside. Someone was banging really hard on the metal doors.

"You two! Go!" Flask shouted to the two loan sharks, Oscar and Billy.

"Right, boss!" Oscar nodded.

Both Oscar and Billy advanced towards the entrance slowly as they pointed their guns at it but they stopped when they heard a huge bang. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the doors got blasted off the hinges, sending everyone off their feet and both Oscar and Billy got hit hard by the metallic door and ended up dead under the metallic doors, their black blood pooling under the doors. The other sharks were down on the ground, Allison shut her eyes from the sudden wind. Flask was down on the ground too from the sudden blast but got back up again.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" He shouted in confusion and shock.

There was a huge cloud of smoke from the blast as the sharks got up and pointed their weapons to a noise that sounded like footsteps that were approaching from the cloud of smoke and from the shadows entering the warehouse were Alastor and Husk who used his wings to blow the smoke away.

"A little birdie told me that you are looking for the Radio Demon and that this was the place you would wait for him. Well, the wait is over because the Radio Demon is here." Alastor said as his smile was sharp and dangerous as he narrowed his eyes at the loan sharks, taking in the surroundings.

His heart almost lurched out of his chest when he saw Allison dangling from a chain above a large container filled with acid. Oh he's gonna have fun fishing some sharks today.

"Well, well, what do we have here?" Flask smirked as his men took out their weapons at the ready.

"Looks like The Radio Demon made his appearance." He said.

"Gotta say I’m impressed, you blew the entrance and waltz in here like it’s nothing, very impressive. I’m so glad you got my message. Although I expected you to be a little taller." Flask said as he scrutinized Alastor for his height which made the red overlord narrow his red eyes dangerously. This fellow looks familiar...

"You look familiar. I’m pretty sure I know you're from somewhere. Now let me think back." Alastor said as he tilted his head as he tried to remember where he had seen this particular loan shark only for a light bulb to go off in his head. Ohohohoho, now he remembers and he's gonna get it.

"Hmm, wait a minute, can it be? Of course, now I remember. You’re Flask. It’s been a dog's age since I last saw you. Business is booming from what I’ve seen." Alastor said as he leaned on his staff, his smile was sharp and dangerous as ever.

"Now tell me, what makes you think you can harm an associate of mine?" Alastor questioned him, indicating Flask's abduction on his doe.

"Isn't it obvious? I’m cashing in." Flask told him but what he meant by cashing in just flew over Alastor's head but he was curious about what he meant.

'Whatever do you mean?" Alastor questioned him which made Flask grit his teeth.

"Don’t pretend you don’t know, Radio Demon. You know exactly what you did to me." The loan shark leader told him.

"Do I? Hmm, ah wait, I think I know what you’re referring to. The previous territory deal you had with the previous overlords." Alastor said as he remembered.

"Yes, that deal meant a whole lot of dough for our organization. Until you came and ruined it!" Flask sneered at him and Alastor feigned shock and innocence.

"Ruin it? Moi? That’s an awful accusation. I feel memory serves me well, the deal you had was with the previous overlords, prior before they... retired. " Alastor told him but Flask wasn't buying it.

"More like you beat the hell out of them." He told him angrily as Allison looked confused.

"Mm?" She looked at Alastor and Flask in confusion. What did Flask mean that Alastor beat up the overlords?

"Yes that. In other words, I had nothing to do with your old deals falling down the sewers my friend. All I had was to force them into... retirement." Alastor said cryptically but it just made Flask snort.

"Yeah right, we know all about how you took down most of them. Or are you gonna hide the fact that you killed some?" He pointed out bitterly the truth about what happened to the ones he made a deal with.

That made Allison's eyes widened in shock and disbelief when she heard what Flask said about how Alastor killed the overlords. She finds it hard to believe that someone as nice as he is could be a cold blooded killer. But from what she was seeing, there was something in Alastor that screamed danger like maybe what Flask said was true although she tried not to believe it otherwise.

"I cannot hide my past actions. I can only certify to you that I killed the corrupt overlords, the rest just... retired." Alastor admitted as Flask narrowed his eyes at him.

"Either way, you’re the reason we lost billions." He said while Alastor just smiled sharply.

"Well, that couldn’t be helped, after all, you made your deal with corrupt overlords. So it’s a bit your own fault, next time try and make a deal with people who are rather more... just. In any case, I don’t get why you would go as far as kidnap someone to get to me." Alastor said, nodding to Allison as Flask raised an eyebrow.

"Well, why not? We heard from an informant that someone from Cannibal Town is associated with an overlord there." Flask began.

"So I asked myself, why not get the information out of them and find out what they're to you? And little did I know, the little lady chained up there, who’s on the verge of a really really burning bath is someone really close to you. Who knew your sister was so pretty?" He explained which caused Alastor to suddenly go stiff and almost lose his smile. His, what?!

"Mm?!" Allison was in shock and disbelief. She is not his sister!

This just made Husk whistle but he can understand why the girl and Alastor can be mistaken for siblings due to having deer-like ears.

"My sister you say?" Alastor questioned him as he tilted his head while his right ear twitched. Did Flask really think that-? Oh, that's hilarious! He thought he and Allison were related?!

"Don’t take me for a fool. You have the same ears that make you practically family." Flask snapped at him as Alastor just grinned wider.

"I see, I’m really sorry, but you are deeply misinformed. Allison is not my sister, we are not related." Alastor told him which stumped both Flask and his loan sharks. They're not?

"You’re not?" Flask questioned him in confusion.

"Oh, come now. You really thought we were family because our ears look similar? Seems a bit of a stretch, wouldn't you say?" Alastor chuckled mockingly.

"Maybe, but you can’t deny that she doesn’t mean anything to you, can you?" Flask said and he nailed a nerve when he saw Alastor's smile tensing slightly and he smirked. So the lady does mean something to the Radio Demon.

"Hmm." Alastor hummed slightly.

"Guess I was right. She may not be related to you. But you seem to care for her. Looks like I made a good choice about kidnapping her." Flask taunted with a smirk.

From where she's dangling over the large container of acid, Allison looked worried for herself, Alastor and that avian cat sinner he came with but Alastor reassured her with his never changing smile which has softened a bit.

"Don't worry, ma chére. I'll protect you." Alastor reassured her which made her sigh slightly against the duct tape on her mouth.

"You’ll protect her? Ha! That’s a good one." Flask scoffed as he snapped his fingers and his men started to aim their guns at Alastor and Husk.

Husk getting ready just in case, his wings unfurled slightly as he got into a stance slightly while Alastor's grip on his staff tightened.

"That’s a whole lot of guns." Husk grunted slightly as he was trying to calculate how many there were and saw that there's probably a dozen of them. Around 60 loan sharks if you add Flask to the equation.

"Seems to me the odds are in our favor. After all there are 60 of us. One old junkyard dog and a weak overlord." Flask said, which just made the beast within Alastor to bang against its cage.

"Weak, am I? Perhaps you would like to see how you really think I am. You might get a surprise." Alastor said sinisterly as the loan sharks started to remove the safety of their guns.

"Are those weapons really necessary?" Alastor questioned Flask. Something about those guns makes him a bit wary. It just reminded him how he died.

"Trust me, they pack a wallop. And that way it sends a clear message to every asshole of your kind. Nothing's gonna stop me from expanding my business. This city is my bitch." Flask said and There was a huge silence after what Flask said. Husk would have cracked up if it weren't for the situation he and Alastor are in with trying to save the blue doe from getting dropped in the large container of acid.

"That’s very... detailing." Alastor began as he was prepared to propose a deal.

"But I believe there is a better way to solve this situation without resorting to violence even if you deserve a lesson for what you did. Drop your weapons and release the lady. If you do, I’ll help you convince the overlords of allowing your expansion. You of all people know how a deal with an overlord works, you do your part, I do mine, and everyone goes home smiling." Alastor explained with a business man-like smile.

"Hmm, your offer is tempting, very tempting indeed. Men, lower your weapons." Flask said almost like he was considering it.

The loan sharks began to lower their weapons upon Flask’s order much to Alastor's relief.

"Now if you please, release the lady." Alastor said but Flask just smirked.

"You want her?" Flask questioned him before taking out his gun and aimed it at the chain holding Allison and Alastor realized what was going to happen.

"Then good luck catching her!" Flask shouted and fired as a long bang echoed in the warehouse.

The bullets broke the chain, causing it to snap and Allison started to fall towards the container of acid as she let out a muffled scream. Alastor acted fast by using a shadow tendril to catch her. Oh Flask just up and got himself fucked up now!

"Husk!" Alastor shouted and Husk nodded.

Husk jumps up high and flies to the shadow tendril holding Allison. He grabs her in his arms and flies off to find a good hiding place since Alastor is about to unleash the beast.

"You still think I’m weak? It seems to me that it's time to show you all the power of an overlord." Alastor said, his antlers growing and his sclera turning black and his smile sharpening.

"Kill that son of a bitch!" Flask shouted to his men who immediately aimed their guns at Alastor and started to fire rounds at him but Alastor used his shadows to make a shield for himself from the bullets and four large shadow tendrils to lift him up off the ground.

"This is where the real fun begins. Time to unleash carnage!" Alastor cackled darkly as his voice became deeper to an octave along with his radio voice.

Alastor waved his staff and made his shadow expand as he created a dome around the exterior of the warehouse to prevent anyone from escaping from the true hell that was about to be unleashed. The loan sharks stopped firing as they took a good look at Alastor, his black antlers elongated into a wendigo's, his sclera were pure black and his pupils are radio dials. They were now dealing with the fearsome Radio Demon.

"Is that all? Next time you wanna kill an overlord, buy better weapons. Oh wait, I forgot, there won’t be a next time." Alastor taunted with a dark chuckle.

"Shoot him, shoot him!" Flask shouted to his men.

The loan sharks open fire at Alastor who uses his shadows to grab loan sharks one by one to kill them. He rips them all piece by piece as they scream in agony and their weapon doesn't seem to put a scratch on him thanks to the shadows that act as a shield for him.

"What the fuck?! I thought this guy was weak! Kill him already!" Flask shouted in shock.

"He’s too powerful, boss-!" The loan shark, Lucas, shouted but got grabbed and stabbed multiple times by Alastor's shadow minions.

Meanwhile Husk found a good place to hide with Allison while the battle raged on. Allison struggled against her binds.

"Mmm! Mm!" She tried to tell Husk to remove the tape and Husk knew what that meant.

"Oh right. Hold still." Husk reached the corner of the tape and took it off Allison's mouth who sighed in relief.

"Thank you." The fallen seraphim thanked the avian cat sinner.

"You’re welcome. I only wish we could’ve met in different circumstances. Try not to move, I’m gonna untie you." Husk told her as he knelt behind her to see that her hands were bound by rope in a tight knot.

"How?" She asked him but Husk simply took out two cards which were one of his signature weapons and used their sharp edges to cut the rope.

Allison couldn't help but sigh in relief as she was free, rubbing her wrists.

"Thanks." She thanked him with a smile as Husk just grunted slightly.

"Don’t thank me yet. We’re in deep trouble. It’s best if we stay here, try to stay behind me." Husk told him, taking out cards between his fingers just in case some loan sharks tried to sneak up on them.

"Wait." Allison suddenly spoke up which made Husk turn to her.

"Hmm? What is it?" He asked her and Allison seemed more hesitant to ask.

"Is it... true?" She asked hesitantly as her ears twitched nervously.

"Huh?" Husk raised an eyebrow, wanting her to clarify.

"What Flask said, is it true that… Alastor killed people before?" Allison asked softly. A part of her wants it not to be true yet a bigger part is telling her that it was true and real.

"He, well, let’s just say Alastor isn’t exactly who you thought he was but he’s not bad, sort of. Don’t worry, everything will be alright." Husk reassured her but he's not sure if he's reassuring her or himself.

Allison smiled at what Husk said yet it was only to hide the fact that she had doubts. Suddenly a stray bullet hit the wall which scared Allison as she yelled in shock and fear and Husk put his wing over her.

"Calm down. We’re safe here. Hopefully." Husk told her, looking over the crate to see that it was still total carnage out there.

While Husk and Allison were hiding, the loan sharks kept on firing at Alastor who was killing every one of them with a deadly smile and no ounce of mercy.

'What the fuck?! I thought the guy was weak!' Flask thought in a panic as his men were getting slaughtered.

"Damnit… Use rocket launchers! Kill that son of a bitch!" Flask shouted.

Some loan sharks began to get some rocket launchers as they took aim at Alastor from behind. When they fire the rockets at him, he turns his head and sees it but it seemed like he noticed them too late as he got hit. The blast was immense as Allison saw it as she gasped in shock and covered her mouth with wide eyes.

"Hold your fire! We got him good." Flask ordered as his men stopped firing.

There was black smoke due to the rocket's explosion and the loan sharks couldn’t see much because of it but Flask was pretty confident that he had killed the Radio Demon.

"Ha! He’s gone. What did I tell you? He wasn’t so though. That bastard is no more." Flask smirked triumphantly before turning to one of the loan sharks, Joey.

"Go get his body." Flask ordered.

"Who? Me?" Joey pointed to himself in shock.

"No, I meant the other asshole on your left. Yes, you! Now do as I say!" Flask snapped angrily in annoyance.

"Sure thing, boss." Joey nodded as he slowly walked towards where Alastor was before he was supposedly killed.

So far there was nothing but then a huge shadow sharp hand pierced through the loan shark and ripped out his heart. There was a lot of blood dripping as the hand let go of the dead loan shark. Something came out of the smoke, it was Alastor. His suit was a bit dirty as he shook the dust off but other than that he didn’t have a scratch on him. Except for some minor burns and his smile was much more deadly now as the loan sharks and Flask were shocked.

"You made my suit get a bit dusty. I hate that." Alastor tensely said, dusting the dust off his arms.

"How did you...?" Flask began but Alastor tilted his head with a sharp and deadlier smile.

"Survive? I thought you’d know better, Flask, it takes more than that to defeat an overlord like dear old me. Now then, where were we? Oh yes, that’s right. I was killing you all. It was a really nice try hitting me from the back even if that was kind of a low blow. No pun intended. Bravo for your valiant effort. Unfortunately, this I will be your very last, because now this is where the real fun begins. So a bid to you all, adieu." Alastor said as his voice became heavily laced with radio static.

"Kill him…! Kill him!" Flask exclaimed in a panic.

The loan sharks start firing what they have even if they see that they won’t kill Alastor so easily as they first thought. While Husk hid with Allison, she could hear the bullets firing, the screams of the dying sharks. She tried to stay calm but deep down she was panicking and the worst was yet to come.

"Freeze!" A loan shark, Dexter, shouted.

Dexter and two other loan sharks had found Husk and Allison’s hiding spot and Allison practically froze like a deer in headlights while Husk instinctively stood in front of her, his wings flared out slightly but he had to at least play it cool so they won't start firing on them both.

"Hey, hey now. No need to go this far. I’m sure as gentlemen we can perhaps find a way to resolve this. Do you fancy a final game of cards?" Husk said casually and took out a few cards and held them like a fan.

"Huh? Where did you get that deck?" Dexter questioned him but Husk just smirked.

"A good magician never reveals his secrets." He simply said and threw the fan of cards in his hand like ninja blades which instantly killed the three loan sharks that would have killed both him and Allison if he didn't act immediately.

Husk ran to Allison as he grabbed her hand and began to tell her that they had to go but for some reason, Husk’s voice became muffled and distorted to her. It’s as if her fear had made her get temporary deafness and all she could hear was the beat of her own heart beating loud and fast and ringing in her ears made itself known. Little by little the beating got less loud and she could hear what Husk was trying to say.

"Get up! Hurry, we have to move!" Husk shouted which snapped her out of her slight daze.

Husk grabbed Allison’s hand and began to drag her with him as he ran. While they both ran to get away from the carnage Alastor was causing, Allison saw in horror how everyone was being killed by Alastor. She saw two sharks get pierced by a shadow hand right in their faces and when they died, the shadow hand threw them on the side like trash. A group of four sharks were firing at Alastor when a shadow hand made a crumbling wall fall on them, squashing them like bugs and there was red blood everywhere. Suddenly Allison fell on the ground as she accidentally stumbled on a shark who was bleeding and he was still alive but he was dying.

"Help me… please…" The loan shark, Nicholas, begged her.

The loan shark raised his bleeding hand towards Allison who was terrified and suddenly a shadow hand grabbed him from the back and began to drag him slowly towards the carnage.

"No! Help me please…!" Nicholas shouted but ended up getting killed.

Allison didn’t know what to do. She knew she had to move, get up, run away but the intense fear she was feeling had made her body feel paralyzed. Husk ran so they could run away before they got killed or worse.

"Allison! Hurry, get up! We have to move our asses out of here! Come on!" Husk shouted as he grabbed her hand and dragged her once again, trying to find a good place for them to hide.

Luckily he found a good spot that is far from the carnage that Alastor was unleashing upon the Loan Sharks and Flask.

"Here. Let’s hide here." Husk told her as they hid and caught their breath.

"We’ll be safe here. They won’t find us." He said but got no response as he turned to her.

"You okay?" Husk asked her but Allison didn't answer him for a moment.

"Allison?" He called her as she shakily took a deep breath.

"I... I have to stop him." She whispered which made Husk confused but he had a bad feeling about that.

"What? Who?" He asked her as she looked at him.

"Alastor, I have to stop him. I have to stop him now." She said as she stood up but Husk grabbed her by the arms so she wouldn't leave and that she would listen to reason.

"Are you out of your damn mind?! If you go out there, you’ll only get yourself killed!" Husk shouted at her which startled her but she had made up her mind.

"I can’t just hide and allow Alastor to kill just for my sake. I have to do whatever I can to stop him! This is not him! The Alastor I know would never commit such horrors. He’s one of the kindest and gentlest people I’ve met here." She told Husk who stared at her in confusion and disbelief. How can she call Alastor kind and gentle when he's a damn overlord and he's not entirely kind and gentle either but this girl called Alastor kind and gentle?! Maybe she doesn't know Alastor well enough.

"Maybe you don’t know him that well." Husk said but Allison looked at him.

"Maybe not, but I know what I have to do. And it’s not to stay here and hide." She said and was able to get Husk to let go of her arms as she ran to try and stop Alastor before he killed any more demons.

"Allison, no! Come back! Ah… damn it to hell! This girl has a death wish! And I’m a dead soul if she doesn’t make it!" Husk growled in frustration as he ran after her to try and make sure that she didn't get herself hurt or killed even if he was reluctant about all that she said.

As she ran, Alastor was still killing the loan sharks and Flask was making those who were down but not dead keep on fighting to stop Alastor.

"Don’t just stand there, you fools! Keep shooting!" Flask shouted.

The shadow hands grab two sharks and kill them, reducing their numbers more and more, adding more corpses to this terrible carnage. Some sharks tried to run but the dome didn’t let them escape. They died in the instant they touched the dome, burning and turning into ashes. Allison just kept on running as Husk ran behind her but stopped to catch his breath

"Hey… please… slow down… I swear. This girl wants to die…" Husk panted heavily before he remembered he had wings and flew after her as Allison was trying to find Alastor as her ears swiveled around to find him.

"Not bad for an old overlord like me is it? Maybe next time you’ll try to remember your place. But let’s be serious, this is the end for all of you." Alastor chuckled darkly as he smiled down dangerously at Flask and the remaining loan sharks.

"You… you’re a monster!" Flask spat with venom in his tone.

"I prefer to call myself an exterminator of pests. Time for you to meet your fate." Alastor said and was about to bring down the large giant shadow hand on Flask and the remaining loan sharks when a voice shouted.

"STOP!!!" That voice made Alastor pause and stop just as the hand, which was just a few inches from Flask and the remaining loan sharks, froze immediately.

Alastor heard Allison’s voice as he looked at the direction it came from and he saw her stand there, crying as tears were falling from her beautiful eyes.

"Alastor, please, just… stop this madness… Stop this at once. I know you’re doing this because they almost killed me but... killing them is not the solution. It just makes matters worse… I... I don’t care if you’re the radio demon or a killer, I know the real you… and that is why I’m begging you to stop. If there is one thing I know is that the real Alastor is kind deep down inside… and if you really care about me, then let them go… for me, please…" Allison pleaded as she sobbed tearfully with her ears completely flat against her head.

Alastor looked at Allison as she pleaded with him to stop, the tears in her eyes felt like a knife stabbing straight towards his heart which made him want to throw up whatever he ate. All he wanted was to protect her but all he did was wreak havoc and show her a monster. He never meant to scare her or make her feel sad. He blinked his eyes as his antlers shrank and his eyes returned to normal as his ears pinned back to his head slightly.

"Allison, I… I’m so sorry. I never intended to hurt you." Alastor spoke softly as his voice returned to normal.

He turned to Flask and the remaining loan sharks as the giant hand faded slowly.

"Very well. You are all free to go." He told them before he waved his microphone staff that made the dome he casted to disappear.

"Leave now. I’ll show mercy this time. I would take this chance if I were you. And don’t make me regret my decision." The alastor warned them and the remaining loan sharks immediately made a run for it, all mentally thankful for being spared from death.

After reverting back to normal and everything settled down slightly, Alastor went to where Allison was as he looked at her.

"Let’s go." He told her softly as she looked at him and nodded, sniffing slightly as Husk reached them as he landed.

"What’s going on?" Husk asked them and noticed that Alastor seemed a bit more relaxed and calmer.

"We’re leaving. We have no further business here." Alastor told him. He was right, they have come there to rescue Allison with a bit of a carnage that had to happen.

Alastor started to head out of the warehouse with both Allison and Husk right behind him.

"No. On the contrary."

Flask, who remained behind and hid, ran out of his hiding place and grabbed Allison by the arm. She screamed in shock and fear as she was pulled back.

Alastor and Husk heard Allison scream and turned around immediately to see what made her scream and what they saw made Husk's fur bristle and to Alastor to tighten his hold on his microphone staff.

"We are far from done. This is just the beginning!" Flask snarled as Allison struggled against his hold.

"Let go of me!" She yelled but froze when she felt something pressing against the side of her head.

"Hold still, sweetheart, unless you wanna end up with a bullet in your brain." Flask warned her as he was holding her in a hostage situation and was pressing the end of his gun against her head as Flask looked at Alastor who was restraining himself from attacking Flask who would no doubt harm Allison.

"Now you listen to me, Radio Demon. You will tell the other Overlords to accept my deal or I will put a hole in the little lady’s head." Flask threatened Alastor with a warning as Allison looked at the gun pressing against her head in fear.

"I thought I had been crystal clear. I spare your life and in exchange you leave. I suggest you do that while you still can." Alastor warned him with a sneer.

"From my point of view, I’m the one holding your little girlfriend. So that means that you will do as I say." Flask said as Allison looked at Alastor fearfully.

"Don’t listen to him, Alastor." She pleaded but let out a startled yelp when Flask jostled her rather roughly.

"Shut the fuck up, you bitch!" Flask shouted at her before addressing Alastor.

"Either you do as I want or this is the last time you’ll see that pretty face alive ever again." He said as Husk felt a growl climbing out of his throat

"Don’t be a fool, Flask." Husk said as he prepares a few of his cards to throw at Flask in order to disarm him and free Allison from his hold but Alastor puts his microphone staff in front of the avian cat sinner.

"Stand down, Husk." Alastor told him and Husk looked at him as if he was crazy. Is he telling him to stand down when Allison will end up dead if they don't do anything?!

"Huh? Alastor, how can you say that? Allison needs help! We can’t just watch and not do shit!" Husk exclaimed in anger but Alastor gave him a calm yet angered expression that made him pause.

Alastor knows that Allison needs help and they can't just stand and watch while she's still in immediate danger.

"Leave it to me." He told him before turning to Flask.

"Made up your mind huh? I do hope for the girl’s sake that you’ve come to your senses." Flask smirked as Alastor just smiled dangerously.

"I did. That is why I ask you to reconsider your actions. Leave now." Alastor told him as Flask scoffed.

"And like I said, I ain’t going nowhere. This is your last chance, accept my offer or say goodbye to your girlfriend." The loan shark leader said with a smirk as the trigger clicked and Allison's breath hitched.

"It’ll never happen. It is clear to me that you’re nothing but a low life thug looking for an easy dime. Even if I accepted your terms, I doubt the other overlords would ever agree to it. So I’m sorry to disappoint you, but my answer is no. And as for killing dear Allison, I regret to inform you that it will never happen because I won’t allow it." Alastor snarled slightly but Flask just laughed at him.

"Laughable. It’s a shame you didn’t accept it." Flask mocked him before glancing at Allison.

"Tough luck, miss, maybe next time you’ll have more luck. Then again, I have two bullets left. So maybe I ought to kill two birds in two shots. Who am I going to kill first?" Flask taunted on who to choose first.

"The sweet little lady is rather tempting, but I think you should be the first to go, dear old Radio Demon." Flask pointed his gun at Alastor who remained calm despite the situation.

"When word gets out that I, Flask, boss of the loan shark took you down. My reputation will go sky high. And who knows, I may offer your head as a compensation to the overlords. A warning to those who would stand in my way." He boasted while Husk rolled his eyes at him.

"Don’t count on it." Alastor tutted with a slight tilt of his head.

"Brave even when you're almost close to dying huh? Admirable, but so stupid. Moving on, who is getting the first shot? Let me think. Decisions, decisions. Oh I know, you. Say goodbye, Alastor. It’s the end of the fucking road for you, bitch." Flask removed the safety and cocked his gun while Alastor was staying still and waiting for the right moment to make his move.

There was a moment of silence which made things even more terrifying. Alastor could read the fear in Allison's eyes yet his slightly softened smile made her be less scared, for she was confident that he would save her. Flask pulled the trigger and fired but Alastor moved fast, creating a puff of dust that blasted back to where he once was and the dust reached to where Husk was as he coughed. As it slowly vanished, Alastor was behind Flask and he was holding Allison gently but protectively, it happened so fast that Flask didn’t even notice that he didn’t have Allison in his grasp anymore.

"How did you-?! Aaagh!" Flask started but let out a pained shout.

When Flask turned around to use his last bullet, something happened. He suddenly froze after turning around so fast as he began to cough a huge amount of blood from his mouth. His stomach began to grow red as he had a hole right in his stomach. His heart and most of his organs were gone. He then fell down on his knees as he looked at Alastor who just looked at him with a victorious smile. Knowing that this was the end for him, he only had two words.

"Fuck… you…" He rasped out.

After spitting his very last words, Flask fell to the ground, blood was coming out of him as he was creating a puddle.

"He’s dead..." Allison whispered a bit breathless from fright and shock.

"Believe me, ma chère. I wish for this to have been different, but Flask had chosen his fate. At least for now you’re safe." Alastor explained softly but a slight hiccup from Allison made him look at her and he internally panicked.

Allison hiccuped softly and started to cry until she was sobbing on Alastor's chest as she held onto his coat slightly and Alastor, even though he was internally panicking, sighed heavily as he held her, trying to comfort his frightened doe.

"It’s okay, my dear. You’re safe now. Please forgive me for having you involved in all this chaos." Alastor whispered softly as he petted her hair as she continued to sob softly.

His kind and gentle words and his hold helped Allison feel a bit better but she still felt overwhelmed from everything but all that matters is that Alastor came for her and she was grateful.
