6.1: The True Power of the Radio Demon Part 1
Allison was walking through a street. Rosie sent her out for an errand again after she noticed that they were running out of faux leather. The very material is located at Pentagram City and she is hesitant to send Allison there due to how it was but Allison reassures her that she'll be careful and not talk to strangers. Rosie wanted to trust her but eventually let her but gave her a hell-phone to call her if she needed assistance and she was grateful for that as her thoughts went back to three months ago.
It has been three months since she met the person from the park and she was a little sad that she didn't have a name so all she could call him was the duck man. Rosie teased her about having two suitors which was kinda ironic cause she seemed to be having feelings for the guy.
She shook her head as she walked down the streets of Pentagram City, she wore the cloak she had found which Rosie thankfully washed and patched up which she worked. She asked around where she could find some faux leather and some sinners were kind enough to point where she could get some. She found the store which was called The Devil's Leather. Opening the door, she went inside and was greeted by the smell of leather which made her scrunch up her nose.
"Ah! A new face. What brings you to this fine establishment of the Pentagram City, miss?" The shop owner, a raven sinner, welcomed her.
"Oh, uh, hello. I'm here for an errand for Miss Rosie." Allison nervously told him.
"Ah, yes, yes. Miss Rosie of Cannibal Town. She told me that someone would be picking up the faux leather that she needed. And I'm guessing it is you, miss?" The raven sinner said and Allison nodded.
"Yes, sir." The sinner went out to the back and came back with a box of the faux leather that Rosie needed.
"Give Miss Rosie my regards, young lady." The sinner said as he waved goodbye before noticing some loan sharks eyeing Allison who just left the shop.
The loan sharks were informed by their informant that someone the Cannibal Overlord was coming to pick up a package at The Devil's Leather and their order was to bring her to their boss for an important matter which would have to include a kidnapping. They were told that the person was important to the Cannibal Overlord so they just presumed it was a powerful demon but were taken aback by what they saw. The demon picking up the package was the Radio Demon but for some reason, The Radio Demon was smaller and more feminine than usual.
They watched as The Radio Demon left the shop with the package and it was their time to move. They followed The Radio Demon before one of them decided to step in front of The Radio Demon, who stopped and looked at him before looking at his surroundings.
Allison stopped when she noticed a shark sinner in front of her. Becoming alarmed and surprised, she looked at her surroundings and saw that she was surrounded by more of the sharks. Since her stay with Rosie, she gave her a brief lesson of the different citizens of Hell. There are Sinners like Rosie, Hellborns which are Imps, Goetias, Hellhounds, Incubi, Succubi, Loan Sharks and the Sins who are the rulers of Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath, and Sloth.
From the description of the one in front of her and around her, she was surrounded by Loan Sharks.
"Is there something I can help you with, gentlemen?" Allison asked nervously as she tightened her grip slightly on the package. She doesn't have a good feeling about this.
"Actually our boss needs you for something. So might as well come with us, toots." One of the lone sharks told her.
"U-Uh, t-that's very generous but I'm in a h-hurry." Allison said as she tried to move around the loan shark but she froze when she felt something pressing at the back of her head.
"Come with us or we'll have to use force." Another said in a threatening tone.
Starting to get scared as her ears pressed themselves against her head, she tried to get them to let her leave.
"P-Please, I really need to get back to the Emporium." Allison pleaded fearfully.
"Nice try but you're gonna have to come with us." Another said with a smirk.
From the object pressing against the back of her head, she could only guess it was a gun and knowing she has no choice since she'll only be killed if she doesn't comply, she'll have to come with them.
"A-Alright, I'll go with you but please don't hurt me." She told them fearfully.
Satisfied, they made her drop the package as she was taken to a van which was waiting for them. She nervously got in and two loan sharks sat down on either side of her while another two sat down in front of her as the van started up and drove up somewhere. Allison tried not to fidget and kept her eyes downcast as her ears were pressed against the back of her head.
"Ha! Who knew we got the famous Radio Demon so easily!" The one at the passenger seat cackled and that made Allison glance at the corner of her eye.
Radio Demon?
"I thought the Radio Demon was supposed to be this all powerful demon overlord but guess not. He's just a weak pipsqueak." Another laughed as Allison was even more confused. Did they confuse her for this Radio Demon?
After what felt like hours, they finally arrived somewhere and Allison was dragged out of the van by one of the loan sharks and she looked around to see that they were at some kind of warehouse. She yelped as she was roughly put onto a chair.
"We got him, boss. The Radio Demon ain't nothing but a weakling." A lone shark said.
"I'll be the judge of that." A rough voice spoke in a thick Russian accent and Allison looked up and froze at her spot on the floor as a loan shark, bigger and more muscular than the ones that took her here, came forward.
He was wearing a very expensive looking suit as he was smoking a cigar and he also has scars on his face with one noticeable by his eye which looked blinded. The Loan Shark boss is named Flask as he stopped in front of her as he kneeled down and roughly grabbed her by the hair which caused her to cry out in pain as he pulled her hair back to look at her closer.
He furrowed his brows before looking at the ones that brought her with annoyance in his eyes.
"What is this? Who is this girl?!" He questioned them as he let her hair go much to her relief as he looked at the ones responsible for bringing her there.
"That's not the Radio Demon, you fucking morons!" He exclaimed as the ones that brought her were confused and a bit surprised. Didn't they bring the Radio Demon to him? So why was he angry? Looking at their hostage, they realized that the Radio Demon was indeed different.
"Sorry, boss. We thought this was him because of the ears just like in the picture." The loan shark, Steve, in confusion.
Flask rolled his eyes in annoyance before taking out the picture of the actual Radio Demon and showed it to the ones who brought Allison to him and Steve and the second loan shark, Bob, looked at the picture and looked between Allison and the one with the only good photo of the Radio Demon.
"Do they look the same to you?" Flask questioned them as Bob shrugged.
"Maybe a bit?" Bob said with a shrug and Flask felt his right eye twitching.
"Idiots! You failed!" He growled
Allison was a bit nervous as she looked around to see if she could escape but the place was well guarded. There was no way of escaping. The boss of the loan sharks started walking toward Allison who looked at him directly, though she hid it well, she was very intimidated by him.
"Uh, h-hello." She greeted him nervously as she leaned back.
"Who are you, young lady?" He asked as Allison gulped slightly.
"Well, I-I... M-My name is Allison, but my friends c-call me Allie. Allie with an 'ie' at the end, not a 'y'." Allison said as she fidgeted a little.
Flask takes the cuban cigar in his mouth using his right hand. The minute his mouth no longer has the cigar, he blows a huge puff of smoke at Allison which makes her cough up from the smoke.
"Sorry for asking but... Who are you all?" She asked as she coughed out a little from the smoke as Flask eyed her.
"We're Loan Sharks, miss. The name's Flask and I'm the boss." Flask introduced himself and Allison felt her left ear twitched in confusion.
"Loan Sharks?" He asked in confusion.
"Exactly, and we mean business." Flask simply said roughly as he took a drag from his cigar.
"Okay and... what kind of business do you have with me? Because I don't recall meeting you before you brought me here." Allison voiced her confusion as Flask snorted as he glared at Bob and Steve who at least looked guilty for kidnapping her.
"Unfortunately, that was the result of a certain errors caused by a bunch of fucking dumbasses. They thought you were him and that's why they took you." Flask said as he put his cigar back in his mouth.
Allison was confused. Who did they confuse her with? This Radio Demon that the two were talking about earlier in the van?
"I-I see. And... who is him?" She asked in confusion. She should at least get some answers on why they confused her for someone she has never known before.
Flask blows out a puff of smoke from his mouth.
"The Radio Demon." He said as he spat out the title with enough venom that could kill a human.
"Radio Demon? I've never heard of him." Allison said and Flaks turned to her in surprise and disbelief. How could she not know who the Radio Demon is?!
"You never heard of the Radio Demon?" He questioned her in disbelief and Allison shook her head.
"No, never." She truthfully said and Flask immediately realized why.
"I see, that means you're new in hell." He said as he raised a brow at her and Allison gulped.
"Y-Yeah... more or less." She muttered as Flask snorted in amusement. Talk about being clueless and living under a rock.
"That would explain how you never heard of one of the most dangerous demons to ever roam hell." He said and made Allison look at him in confusion.
"One of the most dangerous demons to ever roam hell? Why?" She asked and Flask snapped his cigar in half as he looked at her angrily and she immediately pressed her ears against her head at the sudden aggression directed at her.
"Why?!" He asked her as he threw the ruined cigar in the trash.
"Because he's dangerous, he's a ruthless murderer with no mercy or any remorse." He started to explain.
"Rare are those who have crossed paths with him and live to brag about it. Those who met the radio demon have lost their souls to him through his devious deals. And if you did something that wouldn't please him, well... let's just say he would make you suffer like never before. He was once a powerful overlord, feared throughout hell. He took down other overlords like it was nothing and took control of things. But suddenly, he left for 6 years. No one knows where he went, or why he left. But when word got out that he was seen back here, I couldn't let him take the control we Loan Sharks had gained over the city." Flask explained to her before he slammed his fist on his desk causing Allison and even Bob and Steve to jump in surprise.
"This is my city! And no motherfucking demon will take back what is fucking mine!" Flask growled as his eyes flashed red.
"S-So all of this is so you can keep a c-control of things?" Allison stuttered nervously.
"Precisely, young lady." Flask said as he calmed down a little.
"Okay b-but that doesn't explain h-how your goons confused m-me with him. I didn't know about him before you told me who he was." Allison said as Flask adjusted his suit.
"Well, to be honest, it was a bit easy to confuse you with him since you both kind of have the same ears." He said as Allison consciously put a hand to her ear as it twitched to her touch. Does she and the Radio Demon have the same ears? But the only ones that have the same ears as her were... No, he couldn't be this Radio Demon Flask is talking about... Could he?
"Really?" She asked in confusion.
"Yes really, you both look... identical..." Flask said before he trailed off.
He looks at the picture he has and he starts to see a certain similarity between the Radio Demon and Allison before a plan starts to form in his head.
"Okay? W-Well, since everything was cleared out, I t-think I can see myself out." Allison said as she stood up from the chair.
As soon as Allison got off the chair and stood up so she could leave peacefully, two shark goons blocked her from leaving the warehouse as Flask smirked darkly at her as she backed away from the two as she turned to him with fear and nervousness in her wide eyes.
"Actually, I'm afraid you cannot leave just yet dear. After all, you are our special guest. It would be rude for you to not stay and let us greet you like you deserve." Flask said with a warm tone that was so fake to be real as Allison looked at him fearfully.
"Oh yeah. I-I'd love to stay, but I-I'm a bit busy. Errands, work, the whole j-jazz. And it's super boring, it really is. I-I wouldn't much rather stay here with you guys and have some fun. Maybe we could reschedule. Set a date so we can see each other again someday." Allison said nervously as she tried to get around the two loan sharks but Steve blocked her path from leaving.
"You misunderstand, dear. You are not leaving this place. In fact, I suggest you get comfortable." Flask said before he snapped his fingers.
"Boys?"
Bob and Steve smirked as they approached Allison who started to get scared at what they were gonna do to her as she backed away from them but bumped into Flask who smirked down at her and her ears pinned back against her head instinctively with her eyes wide with fear.
Meanwhile, at a particular bar called Casino Solitaire, a sinner was an anthropomorphic avian cat demon. His look is evocative of a magician, paired with a casino referencing playing card theme. The sclera of his eyes are black, with light yellow irises and slit pupils. He has large and lengthy, red feather-like eyebrows with black vertical stripes near the tips, and a small black heart above each eyebrow. His fur is a dark taupe, overlayed with white on his face, torso, feet, and upper arms. The insides of his ears are white with a red tip at the point and red heart in the center. A black tuff of fluff protrudes from each, creating the appearance of small hearts. He has a darker shade of his fur encircling his ankles, mimicking cuffs on a set of pants. His tail is long and dark taupe-colored, ending with a large spray of plume-like feathers which are vivid-red with black and white stripes. He has heart-shaped, light yellow paw-pads underneath the paws on his hands and feet. His wings are large and red, with darker-taupe on the undersides. The undersides of his wings are decorated with black stripes which feature red and white roulette wheel dot markings. The outside of his wings are decorated with more black stripes, which wrap around the joints and run around a row of white roulette wheel dots. He wears minimal clothing, which consists of a black top hat with a red band and a gold button-like decoration, a red bowtie around his neck, and a set of black trousers which are held by black suspenders over his shoulders.
This demon is Husker or simply Husk.
Husk was cleaning and rearranging some bottles of alcohol and clean glasses when suddenly Alastor surprised him and gave him quite a fright by slamming the front doors open and he almost dropped the glass he was cleaning.
"Christ, Alastor! Fucking mind giving me a heads up next time?! You fucking almost gave me a heart attack!" Husk yelled as his fur was all fluffed from the near fright he had.
"Oh, dear apologies, Husker, I simply love surprising my thralls." Alastor chuckled with a laughter soundtrack following as he sat on a stool at the counter.
"Whatever." Husk said as he rolled his eyes.
"Mind telling me what brings you down here?" He asked as he eyed him.
"Well, I was wondering, if by any chance you could give me some info and something to drink of course." Alastor said as he rested his chin on his hands. That made Husk raise a brow.
"I can do the second but for the first, it all depends on what kind of information." Husk said as he started to make Alastor's usual drink. He needs his contractor and boss to be specific with what information he needs.
"I'm looking for a girl." Alastor said and Husk looked at him in confusion. Why was he looking for a girl? There are many girls in Hell. But what Alastor said really caught him off guard.
"One who has beautiful long ears, beautiful hair, beautiful eyes, dresses quite nicely and is pretty beautiful." The deer demon described the features of the girl with an almost soft and gentle look in his eyes that made Husk almost drop the bottle he was holding. What the fuck?!
"Fucking kidding me?! There's a billion of those here in hell! How the fuck will I know which one you're talking about?! And more importantly why are you looking for a girl?!" Husk questioned him with a weirded out look but Alastor waved him off dismissively.
"No... reason. Just curious is all." Alastor said but Husk wasn't buying it especially since his boss still has that almost gentle look on his face which means one thing...
"Hold on a minute. Are you going out with someone?!" He exclaimed in shock and surprise and Alastor looked at him with an almost scandalous look but there was a bit of red on his face that Husk could see.
"No. Maybe. A little? A tad?" Alastor tried to deny it, even avoiding eye contact and Husk's jaw dropped at that. No fucking way! Alastor likes someone?!
"You gotta be kidding, who in hell would go out with a guy like you?" He asked him before he grew a bit suspicious. It better not be another soul contracted to him.
"Is it someone whose soul you own?" He asked but Alastor just smiled at him. As if he couldn't stop smiling.
"Au contraire, dear old friend. The lady I talk about isn't someone whose soul is in my possession. She is... you may call an acquaintance." Alastor said and Husk felt his shock, surprise and disbelief being replaced by curiosity. He's starting to wonder who was able to capture the eye of his boss to leave the feared Radio Demon like this.
"An acquaintance huh? A beautiful acquaintance?" Husk took a wild guess and he was proven correct when Alastor smiled almost dreamily. He's probably thinking about this girl.
"Not just beautiful, dazzling. She's like a bright star shining in a dark night. Her beauty is beyond comparison." Alastor said with a dazed smile and it almost made Husk laugh but seeing Alastor like this was a surprise that he relaxed around his contractor. This girl definitely has an effect on him.
"Damn, Alastor, she must have quite an effect on you if you speak of her like that." Husk smirked as he eyed him.
"And what's up with her? Are you guys getting serious or something like that?" He asked curiously.
"I'd say things between us are rather platonic but I can assure you that I have true feelings for her." Alastor admitted to her as Husk gave him his drink.
"Does the lady have a name?" The avian asked him curiously.
"Indeed she does. And the sound of it is beautiful, like a new melody, Allison." Alastor said as he took a sip from his drink and hummed softly, appreciating the drink.
"Allison, huh? She does seem quite nice, maybe a bit out of your league." Husk joked as Alastor just tilted his head at him, putting his glass down.
"I highly doubt that, we seem to be both in common ground." He said before Husk grew curious. So why was he looking for this Allison girl?
"And why are you looking for her?" He asked in confusion as he watched Alastor's expression. The radio demon furrowed his brows as his smile was a bit strained.
He remembered seeing her by the street and when he went to greet her a van drove by and the next thing he knew, she was gone.
"That's the thing, I saw her on the street, and when I went to say hello she had vanished into thin air. I'm worried she may be lost. She's sort of new and doesn't know her way around hell that much." He told him and Husk hummed. That is troubling. If she's new in Hell, finding her would be like a needle in a haystack.
"Sorry to disappoint you, Alastor, but I don't have any information about her." Husk said as Alastor seemed disappointed.
"I should've guessed so." He said as he sipped his drink.
"Listen I gotta go in the back to take care of some stuff, keep an eye on things for me." Husk said and Alastor nodded. He could do that.
Husk leaves the bar in the watchful eyes of Alastor who is enjoying his drink, when suddenly a familiar sound starts to be heard which makes his ears perk as he turns to the direction of the noise. It was coming from the radio Husk had. As he looked at it, he could tell someone was about to broadcast a message through the radio from how the radio waves were being emitted. When the static was over, a voice was heard which made him narrow his eyes as he set his drink down to listen.
"Hello, Pentagram City, Flask here speaking, some of you may know me as leader of the Loan Sharks and one of the big bosses in the mafia. And this message is for someone very special, someone who hasn't been seen in town for quite a while." Alastor listened with narrowed eyes. This Flask fellow seemed to be directing this message to him.
"If you are there, I do hope you're hearing this radio broadcast because I have in my possession someone that is very dear to you. I do believe she has a few words to say. Let's hear her, shall we?" What Alastor heard next made his heart siege and the beast within him to let out a snarl as his smile strained further.
"Help! Someone help- mphm!"
Alastor recognized the voice immediately before it was muffled and knew what was going on, and what the message was all about as his grip on his glass tightened as the glass started to crack under the pressure.
"That's enough for now. I take it that the person whose this message is for recognizes that pretty little voice. Listen up closely, I know you're out there. I don't why the fuck you came back but I'll you this. There is no way you're gonna take what's mine like you did last time. Things in town have changed in the last 6 years you were gone. And I very well plan for it to stay this way. To make it clearer, this is a challenge, as for where we are, I'd rather let you have the fun of finding out for yourself." Alastor bared his teeth as he could feel his pupils shifting between his normal pupils and radio dials as he tried to reign in his anger but how can he when his doe was in danger.
"Just so you know the girl is fine, no harm will come to her for now. But if you don't find us before the end of the day, well, she's a goner. So don't make the lady wait too much, I hate to make you lose a family member. That is my message to you, Radio Demon. Ciao."
The message is over as static starts to be heard and then the radio cuts off as his glass shattered from how he crushed the glass. Alastor started to smile darkly but in anger as he held his staff tightly in his hand, knowing that Allison is in danger because of him and that she was in the hands of people that would harm her just for fun made him want to lose control of himself even as he hid it behind his usual smile but what made that control snap was when someone laughed and he glanced to the corner of his eyes to see that it was a loan shark sitting at the stool away from him, who seem to recognize who was speaking.
"Hahaha! Good ol' Flask! The Radio Demon? He's a has-been! Ain't that right, pal?!" The loan shark, James, laughed as he was speaking to Alastor, unaware that the beast was slowly coming out.
Alastor slowly turned to the one who laughed and indiscreetly called him as has-been. He looked directly at him with a smile that was very strained and dark as he tilted his head to the side in an impossible angle.
"Is that so?" He questioned him as his pupils turned into radio dials and his sclera a deep obsidian black as he felt his antlers creak and grew.
Suddenly he summoned a giant shadow hand that started to strangle James. The hand lifted the loan shark, slamming him to the walls and then the bar where the bottles were as James looked at him in shock, confusion and anger.
"What's going on?! Who the hell are you?!" He asked him in anger and Alastor smiled darkly as his pupils glowed as a shadow was cast over his eyes as his smile widened further.
"Oh, no one important, just someone you said and I quote 'a has-been'." He said as he started to emit static as James' anger, confusion and shock slowly disappeared and were replaced by fear, shock and disbelief. No way... This... He's...
"Wait... Then that means..." He fearfully said just as the realization of the situation and who it was that was talking to him.
"Yes, it is I ,who people in Hell, referred to as the Radio Demon." Alastor said as his voice was heavily laced with venom and anger. His voice was deeper and mixed with static as James started to panic.
"Look, pal, about what I said I was kidding. I-I swear!" James cried out in fear as Alastor tilted his head at him.
"Don't worry, I don't hold a grudge at you for that comment even if it was... displeasing." Alastor said in a tone that almost convinced James that he was being reassuring.
"Now then, let's get down to business. Tell me, where is your boss?" Alastor questioned him.
"My boss? Flask? I... I... I don't know! Honest, he could be anywhere by now!" James said but started to choke when the shadowy hand's grip on his throat tightened almost threateningly.
"So you're saying you know where he could be but not where he is?" Alastor questioned him again as his eyes narrowed.
"Yes!" James choked and Alastor made the shadowy hand loosen its grip for James to breathe to speak.
"Not good enough, friend. You should try and tell me what I wanna know before I start getting angry." Alastor said as his smile was straining in anger and James started to shake in fear and Alastor almost wanted to laugh at how he looks like he's gonna shit his pants.
"Please, don't hurt me!" James begged as Alastor narrowed his eyes.
"I know it might be kind of a long shot, but I think that Flask is at the big warehouse east of Pentagram City, that's one of his usual places! That's all I got for you!" James told him and Alastor made a mental note to head to the area immediately after he disposed of an inconvenience.
"Much obliged, friend!" Alastor said as he set James down with an unnerving smile. James was almost relieved at being released.
"You will let me go, right?" He asked but Alastor smiled malevolently at him. Does he really think he'll let him go immediately?
"I think... not." Alastor said as he snapped his fingers.
James became scared as a shadow creature appeared, one with sharp shadowy claws and Alastor made a silent command for it to attack James. The creature lunged at James as his mouth opened into a scream before he was silenced for good.
Suddenly a loud scream of agony was heard before silence as Husk came out to see what happened while he was gone.
"What's going on?! Huh?" He asked before he blinked in disbelief.
When he saw the mess that his bar suffered, Husk was super shocked and what's worse, there was a dead body and blood everywhere. And he saw that Alastor was the one standing in the middle of the chaos which allowed him to deduce that he was the one who caused it. He was gone for five minutes and Alastor already killed someone! Un-fucking-believable!
"For fuck's sake, Alastor! I told you to keep an eye on my bar, not destroy it!" Husk shouted but was taken aback by how angry Alastor looked despite him looking calm yet his eyes kept flickering from radio dials and his normal ones which made him step back a little.
Alastor turned to him with a grim yet apologetic expression.
"Calm down, Husk. I did what I had to do." He reassured him as Husk exited the bar while avoiding the corpse of the loan shark.
"Well, that's reassuring as fuck. Who's gonna clean all that mess?" Husk asked him but Alastor waved him dismissively.
"Worry about that later, we have more important matters to handle. Those loan sharks have Allison." Alastor said as he gritted his teeth and his hold on his staff tightening, threatening to snap it in half. Husk looked at him with a bit of concern. Despite Alastor being an asshole towards him, seeing him this angry worried him a bit.
"How do you know?" He asked as Alastor pointed to the radio that he had.
"Their boss sent out a message that came with a challenge and a warning. They're using Allison as leverage to get to me. If I don't get where they are holding her soon, they will hurt her." Alastor said as he glared at the wall, wanting to tear Flask and his cronies apart. He was in the mood for sushi as they say.
"Yeah that's terrible and all. But you mind telling me who the fuck will fix this mess of yours?" Husk said as he gestured to his bar. He won't be getting any customers if the whole place was a mess.
Alastor knows exactly who can clean the whole place up while he and Husk are out. He snapped his fingers and summoned his second thrall as she is a small, cyclops-like demon with pointed limbs, white skin and one large eye.
The eye is a light yellow iris, thick eyelashes, and a hot-pink sclera with a yellow gradient Her red-pink hair is kept into a slightly messy bob cut with swirls on each side, and a single light yellow streak located at the top. Her mouth has sharp light pale yellow teeth inside and black lips, and small hot-pink dots on each of the corners. Her attire is that of a black neckerchief around her neck, and a 1950s red-pink maid dress under a white apron with three hot-pink dripping splotches. She also wears long black gloves which cover most of her hands and arms, along with matching-colored tights.
This small tiny helpful yet chaotic gremlin is Niffty, one of Alastor's contracted souls and has a knack for cleaning things immediately.
"You call for me, Alastor? Do you want me to stab someone?" Niffty asked him as she grinned sharply and Alastor returned the smile.
"I'm afraid that will be for another time, my dear." Alastor told her and she pouted but Alastor patted her head
"Right now I need you to clean up the mess and get rid of our dear friend here." Alastor told her as he pointed to the mess at the bar while kicking the corpse a bit and Niffty's pupil shrank as she smiled a bit unhinged. So messy!
"You got it, boss." She saluted as she took out a feather duster from her blouse. Satisfied, Alastor started to head to the entrance of the bar.
"Come, Husk, we have somewhere to go." Alastor called him over his shoulder. Husk looked at him in disbelief. What?!
"Go? Are you fucking kidding me?! What makes you think I would go with you after the mess you caused at my bar?!" Husk growled angrily but Alastor gave him a look before he snapped his fingers and made a box of whiskey appear on the clean part of the counter next to Husk.
He eyed it before opening it, becoming surprised at the contents of the box as it carries bottles of expensive looking whiskey. He grumbled and put the box somewhere safe before going to Alastor.
"I hate how you can be convincing sometimes." He said as he threw him an annoyed look but Alastor just smiled at him.
"Well, now that this little matter is behind us, let us go save the damsel in distress." Alastor said before putting a hand on Husk's shoulder and used his shadow to transport him and Husk to where the Loan Sharks have Allison while Nifty cleans the bar. But when she saw the body of the death shark, all she wanted to do was to stab it over and over with a crazed giggle before going back to cleaning the mess.
Meanwhile at the Loan Shark's warehouse, Flask had an idea in case things go south and with the fact that the Radio Demon is coming, things are about to get chaotic. He planned on having Allison chained above a huge container full of acid as they had her tied up with chains
"Let me go!" Allison shouted as she tried to get free from the chains binding her.
"We can't, dear. We know how precious you are to the Radio Demon." Flask said as he watched from the platform above the container, having a new lit cigar in his hand.
"I told you I don't know him!" Allison said but Flask doesn't buy it. Deny all she wants, he knows that she was precious to the Radio Demon and she was the perfect bait.
"Nice try, babe. You're gonna have to do better. We know you're both related so don't try to trick. I hate people that trick me. They make me... hungry." He said with a sharp grin.
"Well, you got the wrong girl. I'm telling you the truth. I don't know anyone who goes by the Radio Demon." She said as she looked at him pleadingly, begging him to let her go.
"Okay I had enough, shut her up." Flask said as he snapped his fingers.
"No! Get your-!" Allison shouted but was cut off when another loan shark, Stuart, took out a roll of duct tape and stuck a piece over Allison's mouth, silencing and muffling her from talking.
Flask smirked as another loan shark, Jack, approached him.
"Boss?" Jack suddenly asked as Flask glanced at him.
"Yes, what?" He asked.
"Are you sure that acid thing works?" Jack asked as he looked over the railing.
"That's a good question. Let's find out, shall we?" Flask said sarcastically as he got behind Jack and pushed him.
The guy falls in with a shout and when he hits the acid he struggles and screams from the pain of the acid burning his skin as some loan sharks look away.
Slowly he sinks under the acid and 5 seconds later, he comes out dead with his skin totally cleaned off flesh and clothes and all that was left of him was his skeleton. When Allison saw that, she was terrified as her eyes widened further as tears welled up in her eyes. Even if they kidnapped her, she couldn't help but feel helpless that she could have at least prevented his death. She was scared so much that she closed her eyes and looked away as tears fell from her eyes and hit the acid as it fizzled from it.
"Guess that means the acid works. Now, boys, chain our little guest on top of it." Flask said and Allison started to struggle to get free but there was nothing she could do and in a matter of minutes she was hanging above the acid as tears fell from her eyes.
"Sir, you don't plan on burning her, do you?" Another loan shark, Stone, asked as he couldn't help but start to feel bad for their hostage when he saw the tears.
"Don't worry, that's not my intention at all. At least not yet, for now, the girl is just bait to get the Radio Demon. When he tries to save her, we'll drop them and enjoy the show." Flask said sadistically.
Allison looks down at the acid in fear as she is frozen in fear, hoping and begging for someone to come and save her.
Meanwhile, not too far from the warehouse, Alastor and Husk had arrived. Husk heaved as he felt his stomach churned and the contents of what he ate was threading to come back out.
"Dammit! Give a guy a fucking warning next time, Alastor!" He exclaimed in annoyance as his stomach settled.
"Perhaps next time." Alastor said as he looked at the building not too far from where they were.
"Where are we?" Husk asked as he looked around.
"The shark I questioned earlier at your bar." Alastor told him which made Husk raise a brow at him.
"Don't you mean killed into a bloody pulp?" He asked him and Alastor glanced at him, not taking his eyes off the warehouse.
"Yes, he told me Allison was being kept here." He said as Husk crossed his arms.
"Why her? How could they know you two are together?" Husk questioned.
"From the message their boss broadcast through the radio, he seems to want to challenge me." Alastor said as the avian cat hummed thoughtfully. There's always a reason for these types of things.
"If you ask me, it says it has something to do with how you defeated the overlords years ago, including me. I recall that they had somewhat of a deal that involved having more territory, but that stopped when you took control." Husk explained as Alastor turned to him.
"I'd say that Flask is doing all of this to get back at you for what you did." He told him and Alastor turned away. That was true but Flask made one fatal mistake that would result in his death.
"Seems likely. But he made one fatal mistake. He took something that is precious to me. I will make sure that he understands the error of his ways. And I do intend on making it a painful lesson." Alastor said as he started to make his way to the warehouse but Husk stopped him by stepping in front of him and Alastor's smile sharpened in warning. As much as it made Husk want to step aside, he can't just let Alastor walk in there only for Allison to get hurt or worse.
"Wait, Alastor, if that girl is... so special to you. Perhaps it would be wise to be careful. If... If you go too far, you may frighten her so much that she may never want to see you again." Husk reasoned with him with a frown and Alastor tightened his grip on his staff as his smile strained. That's what he thought since he met his doe. The thought of her not wanting to see or talk to him for who he really is has crossed his mind once or twice.
"Do you seriously think I don't know that? I thought of nothing else ever since I met her. I fear the dreadful day she may find out my shameful secret, about who I really am. But I have no other choice, Husk. In order to save her, I will have to unleash the monster that I am." Alastor said and Husk looked into his eyes, seeing nothing but the truth. He can see that Alastor was prepared to risk himself just for Allison to keep her safe from danger even if it means Alastor will never get to see her again.
"Fine, just don't say I didn't warn you." Husk told him as he looked at the warehouse with narrowed eyes before turning to his contractor.
"So what's your plan? Are you just gonna waltz in and kick everyone's ass?" Husk asked him as Alastor hummed as he looked at him.
"Actually, we are both gonna waltz in." He told him and Husk rolled his eyes.
"I know that. I'm asking if you have a plan. There's no way we can go in there like that without raising suspicions." He told him but Alastor smiled further.
"As a matter of fact, I do." He said and he made another box of whiskey appear in Husk's arms. When he checks it, he finds that it's good quality whiskey. Different from the ones at his bar.
"That's some damn good whiskey. Why now? This isn't a good time." Husk told him in confusion and Alastor booped his nose much to his annoyance.
"That's because it's part of my plan. While you go to the entrance saying you're here on a delivery, I will hide under your shadow." Alastor said as he pointed to Husk's shadow with his staff.
"You want to use me as a goat? What the fuck makes you think I will ever do that?" Husk looks at him in disbelief and annoyance.
"Because that way you can go back to that charming box of bottles I gave you as compensation for the damage in your bar." Alastor said with a mischievous grin.
"I really hate you." Husk grumbled as he adjusted his hold on the box.
"Aww. Enough chit chat. It's time to get to work." Alastor said before he dissolved into a shadowy fog and sank into Husk's shadow to hide in it as the avian cat headed to the warehouse to act out the plan.
Meanwhile, there were two loan sharks, Stewie and Peter, guarding the front entrance as Husk went to where they were while holding the box of whiskey and when they saw him, they pointed their guns at him. Husk stopped just at gunpoint and took note of the guns which were angelic weapons crafted by the overlord weapon's dealer, Carmilla Carmine.
"Hold it right there!" Stewie shouted.
"Stay where you are! Don't move!" Peter exclaimed and Husk would have raised his hands but they were currently full so he relaxed his posture to seem nonthreatening.
"Hey, guys. Sorry if I startled you." Husk said in his usual voice
"State your business." Stewie told him and Husk blinked.
"My business... Yeah, I'm here for a delivery." Husk said as he lifted the box he was carrying to show them what he meant.
"A delivery? We weren't told of any delivery!" Peter said in confusion as he looked at Stewie who shrugged.
"I can assure you that I mean you guys no harm. I've been told to deliver this very expensive box with bottles of whiskey to someone named... Mr. Ficklestick?" Husk said before blinking as he read the name of who the delivery was for and it made him want to snort. Who the fuck has the name Ficklestick. In his shadow, Alastor facepalms at that.
'Well, the plan got screwed faster than expected...' Alastor thought.
Stewie lowered his gun in confusion at the name as Peter snorted.
"Mr. Ficklestick? No one here has a name like that." Stewie scoffed before Peter looked at him as if remembering something.
"Wait, Ficklestick is the boss' last name." He said and Stewie looked at him in disbelief.
"No shit, for real?" He asked as he snickered at the ridiculous surname.
"What, you didn't know?" Peter asked him incredulously.
"I didn't. I mean, how do you ask the boss what his last name is. And Ficklestick? What fucking name is that? You would expect something more serious or scary for a guy like him." Stewie said as Peter raised a brow.
"Oh yeah, like what?" He asked as his partner shrugged.
"I don't know. Maybe... Gustavo? Bloodythirst?" Stewie suggested as Peter gave him a deadpan expression.
"You're kidding me right?" He asked as Stewie looked at him in annoyance.
"Well, it's better than Ficklestick." He said in annoyance.
As the two sharks argued about their boss' last name, Alastor used this opportunity to whisper to Husk while the two sharks were distracted.
"What are you waiting for?" Alastor whispered. Husk just glanced down to his shadow to see that it had red eyes, narrowed looking at him as Alastor was looking at him with an impatient look.
"You want to rush in? Those guys will kill me or worse. They'll destroy the whiskey. It's already bad enough you have me use it as part of your plan." Husk whispered back as Alastor narrowed his eyes.
"Well, that's all we got for now so just go with it." Alastor hissed as Husk rolled his eyes.
"Alright, keep your pants on." He whispered before clearing his throat as the two sharks turned to him.
"Hey, fuckers, I don't wanna to interrupt your discussion, but could you tell me if it's okay that I go in? I have other deliveries to do and my boss is gonna kick my ass if I don't make them by day's end." Husk said as he gave them an impatient expression as Stewie glanced at him suspiciously.
"Meh, I don't know. Something is fishy about that." He said as he snickered at his own joke but Peter rolled his eyes.
"Enough with the fish joke, I had it with that shit. But he's right, let's check the merchandise." Peter said before pointing his angelic gun at Husk.
"And if it's a trap, I'm putting a bullet in your head. You got that, short hat?" He said and Husk bristled at the nickname.
"Totally, see for yourself." Husk said as he set the box down so the loan sharks could check what was in it.
When the box is on the ground, Stewie opens the box and sees that it's full of whiskey as Husk gives them a proud smirk.
"What do you think of that? Pretty neat huh? That's good quality whiskey, very tasteful, very strong and very expensive." Husk said as Peter picked up a bottle and looked at the brand.
"Hmm, doesn't look like this is a trap or anything else." He said as he set the bottle back in the box.
"They look like normal bottles. Nothing weird about that." Stewie said as Husk looked at them.
"So it's all good?" He asked and Stewie nodded.
"It's all good." He said. Husk felt like he could breathe easily now since they didn't suspect a thing.
"Now we just have to notify the boss." Stewie said as the loan shark grabbed his walkie talkie and Husk's eyes widened. If they notify their boss that there was a delivery without his notice, they'll notice that something was up.
"Oh fuck..." Husk cursed silently and made a motion with his tail to signal Alastor that it was a code red.
"Hey, boss-" Just when Stewie was about to notify Flask, an arm and hand shot out of the avian cat's shadow, stopped him by grabbing his wrist.
That creeped him and Peter out so much as Alastor slowly materialized in front of them from Husk's shadows as Husk has his arms crossed. Alastor smiled sinisterly at the two.
"Gentlemen, allow me to tell your boss that he's about to have visitors." He said as Peter shook in fear at his sudden appearance.
"W-Who the heck are you?!" He shouted as Stewie was frozen in his spot as Alastor's head tilted to the side in an unnerving sight with the bones of his neck cracking.
"Oh right, how rude of me to not have introduced myself properly. My name is Alastor but you may call me..." Alastor introduced himself before his scleras became an inky obsidian black with burning red radio dial pupils. His voice became demonic and filled with static as his limbs elongated as his smile widened with his antlers growing.
"The Radio Demon." He growled darkly.
When the two loan sharks heard that, they instantly paled as they realized that they were face to face with the real Radio Demon as fear invaded their souls completely and Alastor could see it from the expression on their faces which just made him smile more.
Oh, this will be very entertaining indeed...
