4: A Fashion Star meets The Radio
The door of a shop ring, the owner looked up and smiled brightly.
"Allie! How are you, baby blue?" The owner greeted cheerfully as Allison waved.
The shop she is in was a fabric store. Ever since she stayed with Rosie after the first week of her wings healing, she showed her very unique and secret talent in making very fashionable and trending clothes which became a hit and caused a storm to brew with one of the Vees name Velvette who had Vox to try and find out who the maker of the trending clothes are and to slander her but nothing came up, not even a social media but all they got was a name called the Fashion Sapphire. Since then, the Fashion Sapphire has knocked Velvette's fashion trends off the top spot in the clothes department. Nobody but Rosie and the Cannibals knew that their dewdrop Seraphim, Allison, was Fashion Sapphire. She even commissioned a special jacket for Susan, who was known to be very rude and an "ornery old bitch" as people would say, is very friendly towards Allison after the jacket.
"Hello, Dawn. I'm actually here for the fabrics that Miss Rosie ordered." Allison greeted Dawn.
Dawn is a bird sinner who also commissioned Allison for a new dress which was made of a peacock designed which she wore to a party. To say the least, the new dress she wore was a show stopper and it made Velvet seethe in anger and annoyance knowing that Fashion Sapphire has upstaged her once again.
"Oh yes! The fabrics had just arrived yesterday. There should be some new ones that you and Miss Rosie could use. They're at the back so it might take me a big moment to get them. Feel free to look around for anything that will catch your eye, Allie. I'll be right back." Dawn said cheerfully as she did so.
Allison smiled as she started to look around the store for any fabrics that will hopefully catch her eye. She has a knack for making new suits, dresses and even casual clothes for anyone who gives her a detailed description of it as well as measurements. Right now, she was planning on making herself a little something to wear. As much as she was thankful for the clothes that the Cannibals and Rosie gave her for free, she wanted to make herself her own suit in unique colors. She stopped by the aisle which had white and red fabric. Unaware that the green string around her left pinkie finger appeared for a split second before disappearing.
Outside the shop, a certain red deer overlord was humming while walking near the shop only to stop when something blue caught the corner of his eye. He looked back to see a pair of deer-like ears similar to his and light blue tips. Growing curious about who the ears belong to. He walked to the shop's door and opened it as the bell on top rang.
Allison felt her ears twitch at the sound of the bell of the door and looked up from the silver fabric she was looking at only to see a red demon with a very wide smile staring at her from what she can call surprise and curiosity in his red eyes.
Alastor felt like a deer staring at headlights as he stared at a demoness that he had never seen before but quite frankly, she was very beautiful. Wearing a dress that was black with silver accents, he couldn't help but stare into the red and blue eyes of the strange beauty which was looking at him with curiosity and confusion.
Intrigued yet curious on why she hasn't freaked out like others who know his reputation. He walked towards the demoness and smiled charmingly.
"Why, hello there, stranger. What's a beauty like yourself doing on this side of Hell?" He greeted her charmingly but was surprised when he got a sweet and kind smile in return.
"Oh, I'm actually here for an errand for Miss Rosie. We're actually running low on materials and I'm out for a simple errand to get what is needed, Mister." She said in a kind tone.
"That's splendid to hear, my friend. It's so good to see such a charming young lady help Rosie with her errands. Why, I also know her as well." Alastor said with a wide smile.
"You know Miss Rosie?" The very adorable tilt of the head made something in him flutter. What the heck was that?!
"Of course, ma chérie. She and I are old friends. Why, I was about to check on her when I saw you and couldn't help but be intrigued by your presence." Alastor said and got a cute giggle from the demoness which made his face heat up. Was it just him or was it getting hot in here?
"That's very kind of you to see your friend, kind sir." She smiled at him to which he returned a genuine one.
"Oh I'm so sorry. I didn't catch your name, Mister." Allison said in an apologetic tone and Alastor just hummed good naturedly.
"It's not a problem, my dear. Alastor is my name. And what is the name of the charming beauty in front of me?" Alastor asked after introducing himself.
"It's Allison, Mister Alastor." Allison said as she offered a handshake but felt her heart skip a beat when Alastor took her hand in his and gave her knuckles a gentle kiss.
"A very fitting name for a charming young lady such as yourself." Alastor said charmingly which caused her to smile and giggle shyly.
"Allie, I got the fabrics and they should be-" Dawn said only to freeze as her feathers fluffed out of fear. Standing in front of Allison was the famed Radio Demon who disappeared 5 years ago! And what's more shocking is that Allison was having a conversation. A fucking conversation with the Radio Demon! Doesn't she know who that is?!
Allison saw Dawn from the corner of her eye and smiled.
"Dawn! You're back!" Allison greeted her but became confused at the scared and terrified expression on her avian sinner friend's eyes. Is she scared of something?
Alastor smiled a bit dangerously as he could practically feel his eyes turning into radio dials. How dare that avian interrupt his pleasant talk with his little doe!
"Is something wrong, Dawn?" Allison asked her in confusion and Dawn shook her head but was quaking at her feet at the presence of the feared radio demon.
"I-I-I'm fine, Allie! You know what? You can just take these fabrics! Free of charge for my favorite customer!" Dawn squeaked in fear.
"Oh, Dawn, I simply can't just take them for free. At least let me pay for them." Allison said as she went to the money to pay for the fabrics only for a sum of money which was the same amount that she usually pays for the fabrics appeared on the desk in a cloud of smoke.
"Ma chérie, allow me to pay for your items. A gentleman must always be courteous when it comes to their lady friend." Alastor said as he somewhat calmed down from his slightly angered state but his aura says otherwise.
"A-Are you sure, Mister? I don't want to impose and waste your time paying for the items I'm gonna purchase." Allison said as her ears lowered a little with her eyes shining with concern and worry and it calmed Alastor completely which made Dawn gawked silently as she looked between the two.
Dawn couldn't understand why or what was going on! The Radio Demon is known for his anger and murder spree especially towards those who seem to anger him in the slightest yet with Allison... It's a whole other story! One moment, The Radio Demon looked like he was gonna explode but one look from Allison calmed him down instantly! She knows that Allison has a very unique personality and a very kind heart that affects others, especially those who are known to have a short temper to make them calm down instantly but with The Radio Demon, who is an overlord might she add, one look from her friend and it was enough to calm him down instantly.
"It is not a problem, my dear. Why don't I accompany you during your shopping? I'm sure you'll need assistance carrying the items out and back to Rosie's Emporium." Alastor said and got a thankful smile from the blue demoness.
After getting the fabrics needed, Alastor summoned a shadow minion to carry the boxes that had the fabrics. For some reason, when other sinners or demons see Alastor from what Allison could see, they get really scared of him but he's so nice towards her. They went from shop to shop and got what was needed. By the time they finished, they reached the Emporium by late afternoon.
"Thank you for accompanying me, Mister Alastor." Allison said with a smile.
"It was no problem, my dear. I'm just glad to help a young fashion designer." Alastor reassured her.
"Again, it is a pleasure to meet you, Mister Alastor." She said with that beautiful smile that Alastor seems to love to see.
"My dear Allison, you may call me Alastor. No need for formalities. We're friends after all." Alastor said and she giggled softly.
"Of course, Alastor. Would you love to come in and say hello to Miss Rosie? I think she'll be happy to see an old friend." Allison said as she gestured to the building.
"Ah, but alas. I must get going now, my dear. I would love to visit Rosie and see how she's fairing but duty calls. I'll see her when I have free time as sinners say these days." Alastor said and got a small sad frown from the blue doe.
Oh no! There's no frowning in his presence especially from the lovely beauty in front of him.
He put his hand on her ear and conjured a red rose and she looked at it in surprise before looking at him as he smiled down at her.
"Smile, ma chérie. You're never fully dressed without one." He said before taking her hand in his and gave her knuckles and gentle kiss before straightening up.
"Until then, Miss Allison." He bowed before taking his leave.
Allison was left standing outside the emporium with a dazed and soft look as she smiled lightly. For some reason, being with Alastor made her feel safe and protected.
