The story so far...

Dhruv, a friend of Bhargavi who served as an ex-convict for the last seven years was released from prison and in order to help him, lead a normal life, Prabir and Bhargavi desperately try to convince Mrs. Kavya and Mr. Bhairav to treat him as their own child after they lose their only beloved daughter Keya, who committed a suicide.

Bhargavi had been working under Ziko, and is gravely injured... brutally stabbed with a knife. She also was beaten up by her mother, who discovered a huge amount of cash under her mattress and is enraged with her audacity of not breathing a word regarding the same.

Prabir finds out about Bhargavi's present state and rescues her, fabricating a story, with the help of her step brother Raghav, Mayank's men and his father Mr. Banerjee. He insists her on staying at his place for seven days till she completely recovers.

It was highly unnerving for Mayank to elicit that his father was responsible for his mother's pain and agony.
In a twisted turn of fate, when he was already lamenting the loss of the love of his life - Keya, he doesn't want to lose his mother and instead of running from pillar to post, he took refuge in Prabir considering him as his last resort, as a troubled soul takes refuge in God.

Prabir notices the miserable plight of the old lady and decides to help Mayank. He sets out on a mission to expose Mr. Nishwas Sinha, with Bhargavi's aid.

Amidst all these Prabir asks for Bhargavi's hand in marriage, after he receives his father's blessings; though he refuses to marry Bhargavi within two years untill he gets his mother-in-law, Ms. Nalini married to someone.
