I already was at our meeting location so we could head off.
I looked at my wrist, it was 7:30.

"He's late"-- I stated pouting.

*15 mins. Later*

" Ohh hey" *yawn*-- Shikamaru said carelessly

"UMMMMM YOU'RE LATE!"-- I said in a serious voice glaring at him angrily.

" Sorry, I didn't notice I was that late."-- he said while he started leaning against a tree.

"Well move your ASS! We were supposed to head out a long time ago!"-- I said while I grabbed his arm and started dragging him out of the village.

" Hey! That Hurt's ya know..."-- he said pouting.

"Well suck it up you LAZYASS! And start walking faster while you're at it!!"-- I stated, letting go of his arm and walking ahead of him.

" You're walking to fast!"-- he said.

"Well pick up the pace dummy!"-- I looked back at him and gave him an evil glare.

*sigh* " You remind me of my mom."-- he said. Then muttered under his breath "Troublesome women"

"Is that supposed to be a good thing?"-- I asked him seriously

" not really " he whispered.

"Did you say something?"-- I asked him and stopped walking and turned around to look and hear to what he had to say. Then I crossed my arms and looked at him straight in the eye.

" Chill out! I didn't say anything.....geez I thought "princess's" were supposed to be sweet & kind."-- he said pouting, then he placed his hands at the back of his head and walked past me like if I wasn't there.

"Hmmmphh....well for your information I'm not a real " princess " so stop complaining! "--- I told him with a serious face.

" Yeah whatever "-- was all he said.

We walked for at least 4 hours. The entire time he was just complaining about how much of a drag this mission was. And started whining about how bossy I was. I was starting to get annoyed. Then I spotted a tiny food stand. " Finally, now I can make him shut up with food "-- I thought.

" Hey, wanna grab a bite?"-- I asked him

"Sure..."-- he said

We both ordered stuff and sat at a bench & started eating.

×Shikamaru's POV×

We started eating quietly and then I caught her leaning toward me." What the hell is SHE doing!?"-- I thought inside my head. She raised her hand and wiped something off my face.

I blushed a bit, but she didn't seem to notice.

"You had something..."-- she stated plainly

" Ohh, Thanks....."-- I said looking at her.

She looked good when she wasn't bossy...

"What are you staring at?"-- She asked me raising an eyebrow.

" Ehh....n-nothing."-- I said and quickly looked away.

"Hmmphh" -- that was all I heard her say.

We finished eating and started casually talking while we were walking.
It got pretty dark so we stopped and got some rest.

I fell asleep before her cuz I was tired ya know.

Suddenly I woke up...why? Well I didn't have the slightest idea. I rubbed my eyes and looked forward. Temari was....crying?.... "Wait.... Did I do something?..."--I thought.

Dammit this is such a drag....I'm not the best at these kinda situations....

I approached her...." Hey, you ok?...."

She looked at me...."Does it look like I'm 'OK'?"

*sigh* I sat next to her and leaned her head at my shoulder.... "I hope I'm doing this right"....--I thought inside my head.

" Wh-what a-ar-are yo-u doing!? "-- I stuttered ( which I didn't do a lot).

" What does it look like I'm doing slowpoke? Tryna calm you down. Now gotta sleep already it's midnight."-- he told me in a serious but kinda caring way....

I then fell asleep... And noticed he fell asleep too.
