×Sakura's POV×

I suddenly woke up. I didn't know why. I just felt like it.

I looked beside me and ....Sasuke wasn't there....

"He left me....such a liar..."-- I told myself sadly but pissed off as well.

I got out of bed and walked up to the window. I looked up to the clock placed on the corner of the room, it was midnight.

I opened up the curtains and looked outside the window, placing my elbow resting on the frame while I had my chin on top of my hand.

"Is that?....... Sasuke?....what's he doing outside this late at night?"-- I asked myself as I walked out of the hospital room.

The halls were quiet....I felt so lonely...and I felt as if someone was watching my every move. But I shrugged it off..."Maybe it's just me."--

I made it to the main lobby and found no one...

"Hmm? That's odd...I thought at least the nurse's had to be around..."--

I walked out the main door and saw Sasuke punching a tree...

His hands were bleeding from all the time he spent doing so....

"S-sasuke?...."-- I called out to him trying to get a better glimpse of his face.

"You should go back to sleep."-- he said with a cracked voice.

"But...you s-said--"

"I know what I said. It doesn't matter. Go back to sleep."-- he said with a more serious voice but he didn't turn to see me.

"Your hands are bleeding...."--- I stated worryingly.

"I'm fine."-- he stated plainly.

"Let me at least heal---" I started to say...

"SAKURA!"--- he yelled out my name punching the tree in front of him one more time. I jumped a bit since I noticed his angry voice.

"I said go back to sleep."--- he added gritting his teeth.

I wasn't just going to obey his every command. I'm sure there's something bugging him...and I'm going to find out.

I walked slowly towards him, hugging him from behind.

"I don't know what's wrong......but please come back with me....I don't want to be alone...."--- I whispered....

I noticed he tensed up a bit when a hugged him but he relaxed a few seconds later....

He sighed and turned to look at me....his eyes were puffy and a little swollen....

"You've b--been crying?...."-- I asked him concerned and confused.

He quickly looked away and denied it.

I then rested my hand on his chest and asked him, "You can tell me whats wrong...."---

He looked at me surprised. I saw a small tear escape from his right eye. He then quickly wiped it off.

"I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you..."-- he said while looking at his feet.

"You did protect me, if it wasn't for you who kept on cheering me up, I wouldn't have made it this far."-- I told him with a warm smile.

"I was supposed to go with you everywhere....I failed my duty. I failed the mission."--- he said guilty.

"Don't say that, what happened was unexpected. My wounds look worse than what they really are. It doesn't hurt--"-- I was saying until I felt him hugging me tight.

"I'm still sorry. I still think it's my fault. I--i was so afraid...."-- he said.

"Afraid of what?...."-- I asked him oblivious.

"Afraid of losing....you."--he replied.

I smiled at the fact he felt something for me as well....but maybe it's just because he considers me a close comrade...

"Well I'm still here so don't worry."-- I said as I pulled back and smiled.

He smiled back....he smiled?.......HE SMILED! A REAL SMILE!

"It's getting cold....you should go back..."-- he told me, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Aren't you coming with m-me?"-- I asked him with the best puppy eyes I could make.

He studied my face for a while until he eventually accepted and came with me.

We both, with not saying a single word...went to sleep... again.
