Two weeks have passed. Izuku and Mina have only grown closer in their relationship. The only real downside they have found was the constant teasing from Rico. Note to self, never give him any sort of fuel.

Anyway, their routines haven't changed much. Izuku and Rico would still train together and sometimes Mina would join in, although she had a hard time keeping up with Rico. It was surprising how good of a fighter he really was, and he wasn't even using his supposedly strong quirk.

Well, if he really did get recommended by All Might, which why would you lie about when it could be easily proven wrong if that was the case. So Mina trusted her friend, which meant he did have at least a pretty strong quirk.

The three were at Dagobah, they had just finished their training and were relaxing on the beach.

"So guys, how are you feeling after waiting two weeks for the exam result?" Rico asked his friends.

Izuku and Mina both looked at each other and then Rico. Mina then responded, "Uhh, we kinda forgot about that".

Rico snickered, "really? What happened? You got lost in his green eyes?" He said in a friendly mock.

"We've been focusing on each other. This is new for me, and I guess she just washes away my worries" Izuku responded.

Mina's heart melted, and Rico looked at him with a smirk. Mina wrapped her arms around Izuku, and pulled him into an embrace. She would've liked to kiss him at that point. But understood that it was still very new to Izuku, and that he would need some time. Something she would gladly wait for, because he was worth it.

"Seriously, if I knew you two were going to be this sweet. I would have started taking insulin shots a long time ago".

Mina rolled her eyes at him, "if you don't like it, you can always leave".

"And leave you crazy kids alone? Someone's gotta make sure you don't do anything stupid" he retorted.

They both blushed at the comment, which received laughter from Rico.

"Oh my god I'm kidding. But seriously I'm a sucker for cute couples, although I may not seem like it".

"There's a lot of things about you that you wouldn't expect" Mina responded, her blush dying down.

"What, like the fact I'm bisexual?" Rico questioned.

It took a moment for that last sentence to stick. Yes he had just said that.

"Wait, you're...?" Mina questioned

"Yeah, I swing both ways"

"Ok, I did not see that coming"

"Pretty much. People don't ever think I'm like this until I tell them. This is why you never assume. Just because there is a stereotype, doesn't mean it's a hard and fast rule"

"Can we move onto something else?" Izuku pleaded.

"Sure. Oh and just to tell you guys, I have been in contact with UA".

"Wait what?" Both Mina and Izuku exclaimed simultaneously.

"Yeah, the principal and I have been talking. I actually saw you guys perform in the practical"

"And you didn't say this before, why?" Mina questioned, a little bit annoyed.

"Didn't think I needed to. I don't actually know your test results if that's what you're wondering. However, he did give me these". Rico then pulled out two envelopes.

"Are those...?" Izuku asked

"They're both of your results. He gave me these when I went to see him earlier today".

"And why did you need to see him?" Mina asked

"Reasons you'll discover eventually". Mina groaned while Izuku was used to this by now. Rico handed them their respective envelopes.

"So, who wants to go first?"

They both looked nervous. This was it, they were going to find out if they were accepted or not.

"I'll do it" Mina offered. Neither of them disagreed so she opened it, revealing a small disc inside with no letter.

The disc then projected a screen right in front of them. On said screen, was a man in his thirties. He looked awful, like he hadn't slept in days. "Mina Ashido. I'm supposed to give a proper greeting, but there's no time for irrelevant stuff like that".

'He sounds pleasant' all three of them thought

"Instead, I'm going to go straight to the point. In your written exam you passed, but barely. And as for your practical exam, you received a total of 32 villain points. The cut off was 40 points which you did not exceed".

Mina then looked sullen, she had failed. Instinctively Izuku places an arm around her to comfort her.

"But fortunately for you, that's not all we were grading you on. It is a hero's job to protect and save people. UA wouldn't be the best hero school of it ignored qualities like these, therefore me and a few other memebers of staff observed how you acted during the exam. Your actions during the exams, protecting your fellow examinees, diverting them from danger etc. Earned you an extra 25 rescue points. That totalled with your villain points gives you a total of 57 points in total. Congratulations, you have been accepted into UA High".

The video ended, leaving Mina lost for words, Izuku giving an award winning smile. And Rico giving a smirk.

"Oh... my... God!" She exclaimed the last word. She pulled Izuku in for a bone crushing embrace. Izuku was gaining a bluish hue, which Rico noticed.

"Hey now, stop suffocating your boyfriend"

Mina realising what she was doing, released the vice like grip while still keeping her arms around Izuku.

"Sorry Izuku, I'm just so happy right now"

"It's ok Mina, just please not to hard".

"While I would love to see you two be the cuties that you are. I have a question for you Izuku".

Izuku hummed questioningly.

"Now that you know how the exam was graded. How do you think you did?"

Izuku then started to go over everything that he just learned. He remembered that he had gotten somewhere around 25 villain points, and since the cut off was 40 he needed to get at least 15 rescue points.

"When do you get used to this" Mina asked Rico.

"I don't think you do. In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have asked. I should've known this would send him into a muttering spree".

Rico tapped Izuku on the head, knocking him back into reality.

"Hey, you with us? Do I need to get the feather out?"

Izuku paled when he said that. He was about to say something when an evil smirk grew on Mina's face.

"You know, I think he needs the feather"

And just like that, Rico pulls out a feather and starts tickling Izuku, while Mina hold him down. 30 seconds of constant laughter later, they stopped.

Izuku was breathing heavily while Mina turned his back. "Sorry, I couldn't resist" she said apologetically.

"Well, let's just open your result, alright" Rico spoke up.

Izuku did exactly that, his picked up his envelope and opened it. Like before there was a disc inside that projected a screen. But this time there was someone else.

"I am here, as a projection" it was All Might.

Mina showed the most surprise after Izuku's eyes widening and Rico being unfazed.

"Wait, why is All Might doing this?"

"I would have contacted you sooner, but with great power comes a great amount of paperwork".

"You know him?" Mina exclaimed in surprise. Izuku sweat dropped, he would have to come up with a good excuse.

"Now then, let's get onto your results. You scored magnificently in the written exam. If you had applied only for the general course, we would have accepted you with open arms. But as you have applied specifically for the hero course. We need to take the practical into account. During which you scored a total of 28 points. As the cut off point is 40 this year, we cannot accept you".

Izuku would've been upset if he didn't know the second part already.

"Is what I would have said, if that was all we were grading you on. It is a heroes job to not only deter villains but protect those who cannot for themselves. What kind of hero course wouldn't accept people with such heroic attributes. So we graded you all with rescue points. There were six judges giving their opinions on acts of heroism that you displayed during the exam. Young Midoriya, when you saved that girl from the zero pointer".

A screen behind him turned on, showing footage of the event.

"You displayed the true essence of being a hero. Self sacrifice. You earned a total of 60 rescue points because of your actions. Add that to the total of villain points, and you have a total of 88 points. Giving you first place in the exam, and being the first year representative. Congratulations Young Midoriya, and welcome to your hero academia".

The video ended, and Izuku was speechless. So Mina spoke for him. "Dude, that was amazing. Also saving that girl, should I be jealous?" She teased. Something that worked, "Wait no, I just did what any hero would do. I didn't mean it like that" he sputtered desperately. Earning a few giggles from Mina, and a light chuckle from Rico.

"Relax Izuku, I know you wouldn't cheat on me like that. Plus you did it before we became a couple. I'm just teasing you".

Izuku breathed a sigh of relief. "Well, I'm glad we both got in".

"And Hioni's coming with us, Mr I got recommended by All Might". She laughed, "but Izuku, how do you know All Might, and why didn't you tell me?"

Izuku froze, he didn't know what to say.

"I became friends with Izuku before All Might recommended me. They met through me, and he probably didn't tell you because he's not the type to brag if you haven't noticed".

Izuku was so glad that Rico was a quick thinker. Is there ever a situation in which he does panic?

"Oh ok, that makes sense. Oh I'm so excited, we're all going to UA. Is it too much to ask for if we end up in the same class?"

Rico then nervously laughed, "Well you see, I lied. I knew that you both were gonna pass. And I was told we would all be in the same class".

"Seriously, why didn't you tell us that from the start?" Mina complained.

"Cause it's more official this way. Anyway what's the difference? We're all going to UA and we're all going to be in the same class".

"Fine. But I guess that answers that question. And it's only making me more excited". Mina cheered.

Izuku smiled. He was able to get in, and with both his friend and girlfriend. Could he be anymore lucky?

Well, we'll see won't we?

You all saw this coming. They passed there was no debating that, but I still had to make the chapter even though this scene has literally been parodied thousands of times.

Well, I got some good news for you. The next chapter which I'm planning on making shortly will reveal Rico's quirk. So if I'm right, the next chapter should be up in a couple of hours. Don't quote me on that.
