It was the next day and Lilisa was in the stables with her guards. They were tacking up their horses and preparing for the long ride back home to Lothlorien. Lilisa could not be more relieved and happy than she was that day. She was going home and put the awkward night behind her. She said her goodbyes to Tauriel and Legolas. But there was one person who she wanted to say goodbye to, but thought it would be better to just forget about it. However, Thranduil didn't feel the same way as she did. While Lilisa was tacking up, Thranduil came to the stables to say goodbye to her.

Thranduil had tapped her on the shoulder, causing Lilisa to turn around at him. She was surprised to see him here, but she was also happy he came. There was an awkwardness between them that they tried to avoid, but couldn't.

"Hir vuin (my lord), Thranduil." said Lilisa.

"Hiril vuin (my lady), Lilisa." replied Thranduil.

"What may I do for you?" asked Lilisa.

"I just came down here to say goodbye. I wish you the best for you in the future." said Thranduil.

Lilisa tipped her head in respects for him. She was happy that Thranduil came down here to say goodbye to her. After all, it would of been more awkward for them in the future if they were to meet again. Lilisa put her left foot in the stirrup and threw her other leg over her horse. Her guards mounted their horses and waited for Lilisa to give them their orders. But before Lilisa could even ride away, Thranduil stopped her.

"Lilisa thank you. Thank you for opening my eyes." thanked Thranduil.

"You're welcome Thranduil." replied Lilisa.

Lilisa gave her guard their orders and started heading out of the stables. Before Lilisa was completely out of the stables, she stopped her horse. She turned her head back and Thranduil.

"And Thranduil, I hope you two will see each other again." shouted Lilisa.

Thranduil smiled at Lilisa and watched her ride off. She rode with her guards through the paths of Mirkwood. And when she was finally out of the borders, she couldn't of felt more relieved. She knew there was someone out there for her and she couldn't wait for that moment to come. She hoped that Thranduil will see his wife again and soon because she knew that the two of them were really meant to be.
