Harry gazed at the tiled floor, mind unable to process any of his other surroundings. Tristan and him were both sat on the bench near the hospital entrance, waiting to hear of any news as to how Gwenevieve was doing. It'd been a long while now since the doctor and nurses came rushing out to take her to an examination room. Harry had tried to go with her but he was directed to wait at the bench and they would come update him as soon as they could. They still hadn't.

But, despite his worry over Gwen, he was distracted with the fact the nurses had kept referring to her as princess. Princess Gwenevieve. He couldn't fathom how that were possible. He vaguely remembered the king and queen of England before he left and last he heard, they did not have a daughter. It didn't make sense.

He pondered over their time together, remembering the stories of her life Gwen had shared with him, wondering if maybe he had missed something that could of been a clue. The only thing he could think of was the story of the lost princess she'd told the lost boys about. But that didn't necessarily mean it was about her life, right? Harry frowned at the thought, and then remembered how she was supposed to be arranged to marry another man. Of course, arranged marriages were not entirely uncommon but most people had some say in the matter. When Gwen spoke of hers, it seemed as if she did not.

Thinking of the possibility of Gwen keeping this from Harry, angered him and he clenched his jaw. He didn't want to believe what the nurses were saying because if they were right, not only had Gwen lied to him but what would happen to their child? Or him? He wasn't anyone special, his family hadn't been poor but their blood wasn't royal.

Harry's worry increased and just as he was about to get up to pace the room, Tristan spoke up from beside him, putting his small hand over Harry's forearm. "Harry?"

He swallowed thickly and blinked a couple of times before turning to meet Tristan's gaze. "Yeah?"

"Why are they taking so long with Gwen?"

"I don't know." He mumbled, gaze briefly moving down the hall where the nurses and doctors disappeared with Gwen.

"Is she going to be okay?"

"I don't know." God, he hoped so.

"What's wrong with her?"

"Tristan," Harry huffed and ran his hands down his face roughly. "I don't know, okay? Stop pestering me with these questions I can't answer."

Tristan shrunk back, removing his hand from Harry's arm as a pout took over his face. Harry winced, immediately feeling guilty for snapping at him when he was just worried about Gwen. Harry was too, but his worry was turning into agitation and annoyance. "Sorry," he mumbled, stealing a glance at Tristan as he sighed. "I just don't know what to tell you. I don't know anything either, and I'm getting impatient."

"Well, Gwen always said it was rude to be mean to people if they hadn't done anything to you." Tristan said with an attitude Harry rarely sees. He gave him the side eye, frowning when he saw Tristan cross his arms and tilt his chin up. He could of sworn, he saw Gwen for a split second when he looked at him. Regardless of him and Gwen not being blood related, they'd spent so much time together that Harry was starting to see similar facial expressions when he looked at Tristan. His lip twitched into a smile and he shook his head.

"I'm sure she did say that. Gwen has better manners then I do."

"That is correct."

Harry couldn't help but chuckle and looked down at Tristan to find him smiling slightly. Feeling a wave of affection for the boy, he leant over and wrapped his arm around his shoulder to bring Tristan under his arm. Tristan moved to lean his head on Harry, curling his legs under him and yawning. "Sleep, I'll wake you when I hear news."

"Okay."

They both fell into silence and it wasn't long before Tristan's breathing slowed, hands tucked under his cheek as he slept. Harry sighed, leaning his head back against the wall behind him. He thought about his family, wondering if they were still at the same home they'd lived in before he ran away. What if they moved? The thought made Harry's forehead crease, unsure what he would do if that were the case. He needed money. And if his family were gone, he'd have to do whatever he could to earn it. Even if that meant begging for it on the streets.

His face twisted at the thought, but he would do it if it came to that. He needed to take care of Gwen, though of course, if she really were a princess, she had more money then he could ever give her. She wouldn't need him.

The thought frightened Harry and he felt himself panicking, thinking of what he would do if that were the case. The whole reason he left Neverland was to be with Gwen and raise their child together. But if couldn't provide for her, and Gwen wouldn't need him to, then... then what?

Just before Harry could drive himself mad with his thoughts, the front doors of the hospital swung open. A group of men wearing uniforms entered, followed by a man with dark hair and a beard. Harry's eyes lingered on the man, taking in his black coat that reached his knees and the tailored vest that was buttoned beneath it. The top hat he'd been wearing in his hand, while his other adjusted the coat on him. The action brought Harry's attention to the gold crest on his lapel and Harry immediately recognized it being a sign of royalty. He froze, realizing that this man was the king of England.

"Where is my daughter!" The king shouted and Harry jumped, his blood running cold when the nurses words became official. Gwen was the princess and he had impregnated her. "Hello? I would like to see the doctor!"

Harry swallowed and Tristan woke up to the shouting, moving to sit up straight and the action drew the attention of the king and his guards. His eyebrows furrowed when he took Harry in, eyes swiftly moving over his naked torso and dirty feet. "You." He said fiercely, eyes flashing as if he recognized Harry. "You're the one who abducted my daughter!"

Harry's mouth dropped, eyes wide from his accusation and he sat up. "What? No-, I," He swallowed when the guards seemed to have circled Harry, preventing him from escaping if that's what he was going to try to do. "I didn't abduct, her, sir I-"

"Your Majesty," He corrected sharply and Harry's mouth snapped shut. "Have you no manners?"

Before Harry could respond the doctor and nurse that had recognized Gwen came rushing down the hall. The king and guards turned at the sound of their feet scuffling the tile, watching them come around the counter. "Your Majesty," the doctor bowed and the nurse curtsied before the doctor looked down at a clipboard in his hand. "The princess is severely sick but we've given her an IV bag to supply her with the nutrients she needs." His gaze fell back on the clipboard, before his eyes briefly darted to Harry then back to the king. "I do need to speak to you, in private regarding her situation."

Harry stood up, feeling his worry increase. "Is she alright?"

The king looked at Harry with a scowl. "This is none of your concern. It's a family matter."

"Actually," the doctor glanced at Harry again with a look of sympathy. "I believe it might concern him as well."

"What do you mean?" The king paused and waved his hand over Harry. "You said a boy brought her in. Isn't he the one that abducted her?"

"I don't believe so, he brought her in to get her help." The doctor said and gazed at Harry before shaking his head. "If he was responsible for her missing, I don't think he would of gotten her the help she needed."

"Well then why would any of this concern him?" The king demanded and the doctor pressed his lips together, glancing at the guards. The king noticed and huffed. "Guards, go wait by the entrance. I will call you once you're needed."

They swiftly moved away, hands resting upon the hilt of their swords as they eyed Harry. Harry watched them carefully as they passed him, his body tense. Once they were at the entrance, the king looked back at the doctor and waved his hand. "Well, What is it?"

"The princess," he began cautiously, glancing at Harry once more before continuing. "She's with child."

"What?" The king spat, eyebrows furrowed while Harry felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. "How is that possible? She isn't married." He paused and his face fell. "You don't think she was taken advantage of, do you?"

"No, there would of been some tearing or vaginal bruising even if it happened some time ago." He paused. "Your majesty, she's in danger of losing the child so we would like to observe her overnight. But I do believe it was consensual so you must not worry over that, but you should speak to her when she wakes up. I understand what this could do if the public were to find out."

"The public," the king spoke as if he was suddenly remembering the rest of the world. "I trust you'll keep this confidential, and your staff will too." He looked directly at the nurse, before glancing at Harry as if realizing he was still there. His eyebrows furrowed and then he turned to look at the doctor again. "Why did you think he had anything to do with this?" The king paused, face twisting as if it dawned on him. "You." He said sharply between clenched teeth. "Did you do this to her? Impregnate her?"

Harry's heart pounded in his chest over the news of Gwen possibly losing their child and the King's questioning but he swallowed, breathing out through his nose. "Your majesty, I had no idea she was the princess."

"That was not my question. Did you impregnate her?"

God, he truly was fucked. "Yes."

The king glared at Harry, jaw clenching as he stared at him quietly for a long moment. Harry kept his face masked, hiding his fear as he held the King's eye. Maybe he expected Harry to apologize for it? He wouldn't do that though. He could never apologize for having intercourse with Gwen when it was probably one of the best things to happen to him. Nor would he apologize for the conception of his child. Despite him not being ready to be a father, and the way he had originally acted when he found out, he loved his unborn child already.

"I'll be taking my daughter home, tonight." The kind spoke in a deadly calm voice, tearing his eyes away from Harry to look at the doctor. "We will provide her with our own doctor at the castle. So thank you, but we have it from here. And I pray for you that you keep your word to keep my daughter's situation confidential." The doctor nodded immediately, whispering to the nurse to go get Gwen ready to be taken home. "As for you," Harry tore his gaze away from the nurse and was met with a stealthy glare. "You've tainted my daughter, the heir apparent's purity and have scandalized her. You've both brought shame to the royal family and I consider that a crime." The king met Harry's gaze with a fierce one before tearing them away to look at his guards.

"Guards! Take him to the castle and lock him up."
