It had been a few days since their romantic engagement and both Gwen and Harry had grown drastically closer. They hadn't had another night like that since then, but Harry had repeatedly snuck into Gwen's hut once he knew the boys were sleeping. They stayed up talking about everything until the light from the next morning would peek in through the cracks of Gwen's door. Gwen had to constantly force Harry out to return to his hut before the boys could catch him leaving hers the next morning but Harry was stubborn. The more time he spent with Gwen, the more he wanted to stay beside her. He found that he liked talking to her, whether it be for the reason the sky was blue or something about her past. Harry was entranced with everything she did and said; watching her talk for hours was never boring and he enjoyed it much more than he enjoyed flying or hunting. Two things he loved, quite a lot.
Gwen too, loved staying up to converse with Harry, despite how exhausted she was the next day after running on only three or so hours of sleep. She liked having Harry beside her in bed and the way his eyes would focus on her. Back home, she often found that not a lot of people would meet her eye when she spoke or they'd easily become distracted. But Harry was different. Harry held her eye, every bit of his attention solely on her that at times, it was Gwen that had to look away. The intensity behind his stare made her blush and her skin rise with goosebumps but still, she loved that Harry listened.
It was moments like these, where she sat amongst the lost boys as they played a game in the dirt that she reminiced over the conversations she had with Harry the previous night. Her eyes felt heavy and she was lacking the usual energy she had in her but she felt happy. Her heart was full with an emotion she could only describe as something close to love and it made her stomach flutter. She'd never been in love before but she had liked a boy in the past. She knew what that felt like and it was nothing like this. What she was feeling was stronger, a desire to be close to him all the time whether it be just to talk or sit there in silence. She was drawn to him and felt a connection she had never felt with anyone before. Her body seem to buzz when she was around him as well, like it just had to be next to him. Or touch him. That was another thing; the more time her and Harry spent together the more her body ached to be touched by him. She found her thoughts often drifting to the way his fingers had felt like between her legs. The pleasure hadn't been a surprise, considering she'd shamelessly touched herself in the past. But what was surprising, was how much better it felt when it was Harry's fingers. It heightened every single one of her nerve endings and her head had been on a cloud. The pleasure was so good that whenever she thought back on it, she'd have to clamp her thighs together to relieve the sudden throbbing in core.
Which was exactly what she had to do now as she thought of Harry's skillful fingers again. She crossed one leg over the other where she sat on the ground, trying to be subtle about the way she was making an attempt to relieve herself. Her teeth were sunk into her bottom lip as she focused her eyes on the tick-tack toe game the boys were playing. Surprisingly, they had invited her to sit with them and Gwen noticed that they began to talk to her more now. They didn't seem as skeptical about whether to trust her or not anymore and she thought maybe seeing Harry defend her against the mermaids had changed that. Either way, she was happy with them slowly accepting her and including her in their group activities. She'd already played a game against Will and teased him when she beat him. He chided her and claimed she cheated before he shrugged off the lost and handed the stick to the next player. It had been a boy who's name she later learned was Daniel and seeing how young he was, probably a little older then Tristan, she let him win.
So there she sat, watching them play with an amused grin on her face whenever they'd get a little riled up. Her thoughts frequently turned to Harry but knowing it was highly inappropriate to think of his hand in her knickers, she forced herself to focus on the boy's instead. Though as if knowing she had just been thinking of him, Harry approached behind her until his figure was leaving a shadow to fall over Gwen's body. Frowning at the sudden shade, she looked up and her eyes widened when she saw Harry looking down at her with a small grin on his face. He jerked his head towards the forest, holding his hand out for her to take.
"Come with me."
"Where to?" She asked cautiously, narrowing her gaze when his lips quirked into a devious smirk. He tried but failed to hide it by biting down on his lip.
"Just on a walk, I want to spend time with you." He told her, pulling her close when Gwen finally took his hand for him to help haul her up to her feet. He tugged her until her chest was brushing his, bending his head down close to her ear. "Alone."
Gwen shivered at the lowness of his voice but before she even had a chance to respond, he had already pulled away from her entirely. He walked off, leaving her standing there all flustered while he sauntered towards the trees. Looking back at her with a glint in his eye before disappearing behind the trees. Gwen glanced down at the boy's quickly, noticing that Tristan was fully entranced with the game they were playing before she hurriedly moved to where Harry had disappeared through.
She stepped over various branches and pushed any hanging leaves away from her face, eyes darting around to look for Harry. He had barely just left and she had already lost him so she huffed quietly to herself. Knowing he couldn't of actually gotten far and he was probably hiding so he could attempt to scare her. "Harry, don't even try it." She warned into the air, stopping once she was far enough into the forest and looking around. "I will whack you upside the head if you do."
"Now that wouldn't be very nice." She jumped in place when the voice came right beside her ear, arms snaking around her waist before she could turn around. A relieved breath came out of her lips and she pinched Harry's forearm in retaliation for him frightening her. It was sad really, that she knew he was going to scare her and yet, she still jumped.
Harry laughed at the way she tried to pinch him, faking a hiss to make her think it hurt him even though he hadn't felt an ounce of pain. "Rude."
"What's rude is how you seem always sneak up on me," she said back, turning her head to look up at him. "Do you find humor in frightening me?"
"Yes, of course." He said teasingly and Gwen narrowed her eyes at him, making Harry chuckle deeply. He bent his head over her shoulder and planted a firm kiss to her cheek. "I'm joking, love." He whispered, moving to press another kiss to her jaw. Then down to the crevice between her neck and shoulder. He skimmed his nose against her skin afterwards, getting a whiff of coconut and her natural scent that he loved. Gwen's body shivered at the action, his warm breath fanning against her skin and making her stomach twist in the best way possible.
"Why'd you want to meet out here?" Gwen asked, her voice coming out breathless. Harry tightened his arms around her and kissed her shoulder again, dragging one hand up to play with the strap of her gown.
"I missed you."
"You saw me this morning." Gwen teased and Harry's arm around her waist drew her closer, until her back was flush against his front. Oh. A low audible gasp left her mouth when she felt a hard bulge pressing at the top of her bum.
"Yes but I miss you." He mumbled, drawing circles with his thumb over her clothed stomach. "I've been thinking of those dreams you shared with me early this morning."
Right, of course, Gwen thought. Due to the fact she had been so tired and delirious, her filter had became nonexistent. She confessed to Harry that she often had scandalous dreams about him and Harry had urged her to describe them to him. With her shyness out the window, she easily complied and told him her sinful dreams like an erotic story. How it was always either Harry touching her with his hand between her legs, or sometimes with his tongue replacing it instead. She noticed that had caught his attention, and she didn't think too much about it when he had shifted his weight on his stomach, turning to hide his body from her. She hadn't realized it then but he became aroused hearing her describe those dreams and it hadn't helped him in the slightest when she lastly confessed that in one dream, his bare form was thrusting into her like there was no tomorrow. Not an ounce of her was shy about sharing this with Harry.
But now, in broad daylight, was a whole other story. Her cheeks flushed a deep red at the reminder of what she told him and she bit down on her lip. "I can't believe I told you that."
"Oh don't worry, your secret is safe with me." He hummed and pressed himself against her bum, thrusting his hips upward so she could feel him. Gwen's hand shot down to clasp his arm as her mouth fell open. "But now you've got me constantly thinking about them and well, I've got a problem."
Gwen's chest heaved as she breathed hard, feeling her stomach coil at his words before she turned around and stepped out of his arms. Her gaze was dark and filled with lust as she stared at him, the corner of her lip tugging into a smirk. Backing herself up until she was pressed against a tree, she tilted her head and played with the hem of her gown. "Well since it was me who put those thoughts in your head in the first place...I could help you with that."
The way she was looking at Harry made his groin ache terribly and he quickly walked up to her. Holding her gaze as he did, he stopped once he reached her and brought a hand up to cup her cheek. Tilting her face up to his, he bent his head and brought his mouth down on hers. Kissing her for everything she was worth, which to him, was more than anyone could afford.
Gwen eagerly wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back with as much enthusiasm as he was portraying. Their lips were moving in a rhythmic dance, while her hand unwrapped itself from his neck and slid down his bare chest. His skin was warm and smooth but Gwen could feel a few hairs prick her palm along the way. She wondered again what his body would look like if he had stayed back in England long enough to let his body grow to a fully developed man. She had a feeling that with a age, Harry would only look better.
Her fingers traced the hardness of his stomach before dipping down to the waistband of his overalls. Harry shuddered against her, both hands going up to cup her face as he kissed her harder. Gwen returned it but pulled away briefly as her hand fell down over his overalls to cup his bulge. Harry immediately grunted, mouth falling open at the unfamiliar touch. Never had he been touched by anyone there before and though he vaguely remembers the stories his friends shared with him in the past, he didn't realize just how amazing it felt until he was experiencing it for himself.
"Gwen," he choked out when she kept her hand firmly pressed to his bulge. He needed her to do something because the ache in his groin was becoming almost painful. "I-I, fuck, I need you to do something."
The sound of the curse word leaving Harry's mouth caused Gwen's core to tighten. Doing her best to hide her nervousness, she moved her hand up and down him slowly. Rubbing him over his overalls, Harry bit down on his lip and let his forehead fall against Gwen's. His eyes fluttered for a moment before he forced them open to stare into Gwen's eyes, his breath coming over heavy and fanning against Gwen's lips. It felt so good to Harry, almost as good as it had felt when Harry had thrusted his clothed bottom half between Gwen's legs that one night. He needed more but he refused to tell Gwen that. He was grateful for whatever she chose to give him.
But just how Harry was becoming quickly accustomed to knowing what Gwen wanted, Gwen was also becoming aware of what Harry wanted as well. Which was why, she released him and slowly dragged her hand back up to the button of his overalls. Fingers grazing his bare skin above it as she moved to unbutton them. Harry kept pressing soft kisses to her lips, staring deeply into her eyes every time they weren't kissing. The way he was looking at her made her feel so good about herself. Confident.
"Harry."
The sound of the familiar voice that came further behind Harry, immediately halted Gwen's movements. She froze and so did Harry. He stared at her for another moment before he blinked, carefully turning his head over his shoulder. When he did, Gwen noticed that the person who spoke was Peter. Seeing him tore Gwen out of her frozen state and as subtly as she could, she quickly pulled her hand away from Harry's opened overalls.
"Peter," Harry said and Gwen could detect irritation in his tone. Which, of course he was. Peter had just interrupted the first time Harry would have been properly touched by a girl. "Is there something you need?"
Peter, knowing he interrupted something pressed his lips in a firm line. He was going to pretend he hadn't just seen Gwen pull her hand out of Harry's overalls. He didn't know much about intercourse but he was positive, that children did not touch each other in that way. "We need to talk."
"Now?" Harry was definitely annoyed.
"Yes, now." Peter bit back, eyebrows pulling together angrily. All Harry did now was spend time with Gwen and it angered Peter that Harry couldn't seem to spare him a moment.
Feeling the tension growing in the air, Gwen quickly straightened and ducked out from Harry's arms that rested beside her head on the tree. She tugged self-consciously at her gown, tucking her hair behind her ear right after. "It's alright. I should probably get back to Tristan, he wanted another swimming lesson."
Harry was disappointed that they couldn't finish what they started but he sensed that Peter wouldn't leave him alone until they spoke. "Okay, don't be gone long. It's going to get dark soon and I'm not sure if it's entirely safe yet." He told her, his mind instantly going to the mermaids. It had been calm the past few days but he wasn't taking any chances.
"Alright, see you," Gwen sighed and stole one more glance at Harry, her cheeks blushing before she looked away and focused on Peter. "Bye Peter." She waved at him as she passed but he didn't return it. He stared at her through the side of his eye, only giving her a stiff nod as she brushed by him. He waited until she was far enough away before turning back to Harry, who had his back still facing him.
Harry clenched his jaw and forced himself to calm down, moving to button his overalls back up. He did it slowly in an attempt to stall time so his length could soften. It didn't take much for it to, considering he was well annoyed with Peter. His interruption and presence was enough to kill the mood.
Once he was sure his hard bulge was no longer noticeable, he turned around to face Peter with a glare. "So? What was so important?"
"You have to stop this." Peter went straight to the point and Harry's head reeled back in surprise, his glare falling and turning into confusion instead.
"Stop what?"
"Whatever you're doing with her." Peter said firmly and took a step towards Harry. "I saw you leaving her hut this morning."
Harry tried not to blush but he felt it creeping up his neck, rolling his lips into his mouth and then back out. "Okay, so what?"
"So what?" Peter repeated heatedly and shook his head. "You're getting too close to her. What will you do if the pirates come looking for her again?"
"I'll protect her."
"And what of us? You know protecting her will mean a war."
Harry was properly angry by now. How dare Peter question him? It wasn't his choice on what would happen with Gwen or with the pirates for that matter. Harry was in charge and he was sick of Peter constantly judging whatever he had going on with Gwen. "I don't care," his tone was low as he stepped forward and glared at Peter. "What do you suggest I do? Hand her over to Hook? Fuck that. He is a disgusting man and they only want her for their pleasure. I won't let them near her and if that means we fight, then we fucking fight."
Peter was stunned with his use of language and though he normally would of backed down by now, he was too angry to let Harry stop him. "You're being irrational. You're not thinking with your head, you're letting the way you feel about her decide for you!"
"Who cares!" Harry didn't even bother protesting his feelings; he knew Peter had seen too much already. "Feelings or not I still wouldn't hand her over to them. So if it comes to a fight then we'll have one, and we'll win."
"You don't know that. You're putting us all in danger for a stupid girl." Peter spat and whatever patience Harry had left, quickly dissipated. He stormed up to Peter and shoved him hard, making him fall back to the ground.
"She is not some stupid girl. And if I ever hear you call her anything less than what she really is, It'll be you and I who fights." Harry seethed and Peter looked up at him with wide eyes, mouth hanging in disbelief. Harry's chest rose and fell quickly as he glared down at Peter, who shook his head.
"She's changing you."
"Maybe that's a good thing." Harry said, not sure if he meant the words but he wasn't going to let Peter know.
"It isn't." Peter spat and moved to stand back up on his feet, dusting his own overalls off as he glared at Harry. "You would of never put a girl before us. And now, you do it so easily."
"She's important to me." Harry mumbled, his voice quieter than it had been. He felt like he was confessing a sin but he needed Peter to know.
"Too important." He bit back. "Just remember you're still a child like the rest of us and children don't fall in love. That's for adults."
"I know that." He said through clenched teeth, curling his hands into fists at his sides as Peter turned on his heel to walk back out of the forest. Harry watched him, expecting him to leave when Peter paused and glanced over his shoulder at him.
"You left home because you didn't want to grow up. If you're not careful, you'll do exactly that." He reminded Harry and then left before Harry could say anything. He stood there for a long while after Peter left, letting his words float through his head repeatedly. He knew Peter was right; the whole point he left home was to avoid becoming a man and he was aware only grown ups fell in love. He wasn't sure if what he was feeling for Gwen would be defined as love but he knew it was strong. He liked her, that he was well aware of but he liked her a lot more than he should. What he was feeling was dangerous and he knew the more time he spent with Gwen, the more his feelings would increase. He couldn't help it though; he was in too deep to get himself out. He wanted to protect her, to be around her even if all it consisted of was them sitting beside each other on the beach. He didn't care if they did nothing, just that they did nothing together.
He supposed maybe he was already in love with her. He didn't know, but he was intent on finding out.
