Skelebros ~1

I woke up to a pair of voices whispering loudly. I trying to open my eyes, but the light hurt to much, so I squeezed them shut again. I felt a soft, warm blanket wrapped tightly around me. However, it smelled slightly like ketchup.

"DO YOU THINK IT'S ALIVE?" It was a higher-pitched voice, and they didn't seem to be capable whispering, however hard they tried.

"It has a pulse, so it must be alive still." A deeper, smoother voice responded.

"H-HEY! I-IT KINDA LOOKS LIKE A HUMAN! IT-IT CAN'T BE- CAN IT?"

"If it is, that means he will be here soon. He said he'd return once she fell. She's definitely a she."

"WHO?"

"Nothing."

"DO YOU THINK THEY'LL WAKE UP SOON?" The voice grew closer and louder. I cracked my eye open and was greeted by a face. Right in my face.

"AAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaAAAaaaaa!!!" I screamed, causing them to jump back in shock.

"AAAAAAAAA!!!" I watched as more of the person came into view. They were very tall- definitely taller than me- and had an odd superhero-esque costume. The part that stood the most was a vibrant red scarf tossed over his shoulder. His skin was very pale, almost like- "Aaaa..?" I did a double-take and realized he was a skeleton. A living skeleton. How!?

He stumbled back into the arms of- another skeleton!? This one was much shorter- about my height, I'd say. He had on a blue jacket, lined with fur, and black basketball shorts. He was also wearing fluffy pink slippers. Suddenly, I respected this skeleton a lot more.

"Heh, the human awakes." The short skeleton said with the deep voice I head before.

"AHA! SO IT IS A HUMAN! I KNEW IT WAS RIGHT TO CALL UNDYNE OVER HERE!" The tall one said proudly.

"No! Papyrus, are you serious!? You called Undyne? No, no, no!" He short one began to pace back and forth, hands on his head- er, skull?

"WHAT IS THE PROBLEM, SANS?" 'Papyrus' asked.

"No, no! Undyne wants to take the human's soul! We can't let her! Tell her to stay home!" 'Sans' seemed truly scared of whatever this 'Undyne' person was gonna do.

"IT'S TOO LATE BROTHER. I'M TRULY SORRY. IF I HAD KNOWN-" He was cut off by a loud cracking sound. I turned my head to see a blue fish-like lady with flaming red hair burst through where the door used to be. She had an eyepatch over her left eye. She was also wearing dark skinny jeans and a tank top.

"WHERE'S THE HUMAN!?" She shouted, revealing sharp teeth.

"NO, UNDYNE! DO NOT TOUH THE HUMAN!" Papyrus stood protectively over me. I smiled for a moment, then immediately stopped, making eye contact with her.

"Ngaaaahhh! Die human!" Suddenly a blue spear appears in her hand as she charges past Papyrus at me.

"AAAAaaaa-" My screaming was cut of by a tingling feeling in my chest. I looked down to find a little blue glowing heart. And no couch. I was floating towards the ceiling! "Aaaaaaaa!!"

"Ngaaahhhh! Sans, put the human down!" She threw spear after spear up at me. I looked over at Sans, who had one black eye socket, and a glowing blue eye in the left. It was the same color as the heart. When he moved his hand, the heart moved with it, pulling me along.

~Time Skip to a calm(er) Undyne~

After a while, Papyrus managed to get Undyne to calm down. She left, glaring at me. "Fine, I'll leave it be when it's in your house- no guarantees for outside though." She slammed the door behind her. For a second, the only sounds in the house were panting from all of us.

Sans slowly floated me back to the couch. The blanket I was using before started glowing blue, and wrapped around me tightly as I landed on the couch.

"T-Thank you, Sans. And Papyrus." Sans grinned casually, but Papyrus jumped.

"THE HUMAN SPEAKS OUR LANGUAGE!"

I giggled. Papyrus was such a cute bean! And then my stomach growled. Huh, I haven't eaten since... When did I last eat?

"Uh, was that you, kiddo? What was that sound?" Sans stepped closer to me, staring curiously.

"Heh, that was my stomach. I-I guess I'm hungry." I said embarrassed. "By the way, where am I?"

"Right. Welcome to our house. Ya passed out in the forest, and I figured you'd like somewhere to rest besides the snow." He chuckled.

"T-Thank you for helping me out. I-I suppose I'd better be going now." I wiggled my way out of the blanket, but I was pushed back down onto the couch.

"BUT YOU CAN'T GO! UNDYNE IS WAITING FOR YOU OUTSIDE!" Papyrus looked at me with tears in his eyes.

"B-But I can't stay here."

"Why not? Got somewhere to be?" Sans asked me, raising an eyebrow...? Eye bone? Whatever.

I thought for a second. How did I get here? Where did I come from? Do I have a family?

"I don't know. I can't remember anything before I was in the snow." I frowned.

"Well then, I guess you better lay low with us until Undyne chills a bit." Sans smirked, and Papyrus scowled at him. "Say kid, what's your name? If you're gonna be here for a while, we might as well get to know each other."

"Uhhmmm..." I tried to remember, but it made my head hurt. "I-I don't remember." I felt tears threaten to spill. "I don't remember anything about my life. M-My family, my home, my n-name." I sniffed, and started crying silently.

"Hey, hey, stop that now! If you don't remember, there's nothing to be sad about, right? Just be happy I found you out there, or else you would've been dead." Sans got flustered. I guess he wasn't used to dealing with sadness. I sniffed and looked up at him. "How about we give you a new name, huh?" I nodded, sniffing.

"Hmm... Orangelo?" I shook my head, giggling. "No? How about a skeleton name? Calibri is a nice font..." He mused. I just shook my head.

"OH! OH! HOW ABOUT FRISK!" Papyrus jumped up, stars in his eyes. Sans gave him a sarcastic look.

"I dunno Papy, it sounds-"

"Great!" I interrupted him. "I love it!" Sans looked at me, surprised.

"O-Okay then. Well then Frisk, what are you hungry for? We could go to Grillby's." He said hopefully.

"NO SANS! DO NOT TAKE OUR NEW FRIEND TO THAT GREASY PLACE! I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WILL MAKE YOU THE BEST SPAGHETTI YOU HAVE EVER HAD! NYEH HEH HEH!" He ran into an adjoining room, presumably the kitchen.

"Hey, uh, glad to have you around kid. By the way,  Papy's cooking is, ah, 'unique', shall we say. Just pretend to eat it, I'll get you some edible food later." He winked, and strolled into the kitchen.

Always feel free to comment, I love talking to you!
Love you, my little stars!
