~Epilouge
"Momma, momma, can we pleaase go to the park with Uncle Papy?" He begged, pulling on my sleeve.
"I don't know, what does dad say?"
"He said to ask you!"
I laughed, rubbing his little skull. "Alright. Let's go!"
Sans and I walked hand in hand, watching Jax run up ahead of us. "It's been a while since we've been to the park." Sans noted.
"Yeah, well, with Papyrus being on the stage with Mettaton, he hasn't had as much time to go to the park." We didn't end up going to the park unless Papyrus was there to run around the playground with Jax.
"OH HO! THE PRINCE OF THE PLAYGROUND ARRIVES! NYEH HEH HEH!" Papyrus scooped Jax up in his arms, who giggled wildly.
"Papy, put me down!" He squirmed out of Papyrus' grasp. "I'll beat you to the swings!" They both sprinted off recklessly.
I sighed. "He's growing up so fast."
"I know. Just look at him. Pushing Jax on the swing." Sans chuckled, waving at the pair.
I nudged Sans' shoulder. "You know I meant Jax." I teased back.
"Yeah, I know. I can't believe he's already four." He sighed, voice full of nostalgia.
We watched the two play for a few hours, before they came back to us, panting. "I'm hungry, momma!"
"THE GREAT PAPYRUS NEEDS FOOD!"
I picked up Jax in my arms, and Sans took Papyrus' hand, and the four of us teleported home.
With five of us now living under the same roof, we needed more space. So, one weekend, Gaster and Papyrus expanded the house. It was rather impressive to watch, actually.
"What do you guys want for lunch?"
"Grilled cheese!"
"I figured." I laughed as I began pulling out the bread. After we sat down with our food, Gaster came over, blueprints under his arm.
"Pa! Pa!" Jax jumped out of his chair, flinging his arms around Gaster. When he was little, Jax couldn't say 'grandpa', so he would just say 'pa'. It has stuck, and Gaster seems to love it.
"Hey Jax! How are you today?"
"Awesome! We went to the park, an' Uncle Papy was there, an' now we're havin' grill cheese!" He spouted excitedly.
"That's great! I'm just heading down to the lab to drop off these blueprints for Alphys real quick." He tried to walk away, but Jax clung to his legs, pouting.
"I wanna come too!"
Gaster glanced at me for permission, and I nodded. "Alrighty then! Let's go see Aunty Alphys and Undyne!" The two of them left hand in hand.
"It's good to see Gaster enjoy Jax's company. He used to hate little kids." Sans chuckled, elbowing Papyrus in the ribs.
"HEY! THAT'S NOT NICE, SANS!"
"I didn't mean it like that, bonehead. He didn't like me, either."
"OH. I LIKE NICE DAD BETTER." Papyrus downed the rest of his food, throwing his scarf over his shoulder. "I'D BETTER GO SEE METTATON! HE MIGHT NEED HELP GETTING READY FOR HIS NEXT SHOW!"
Sans sighed and watched Papyrus leave. "He really is growing up a lot..."
"I know. It seems we have the house to ourselves, huh? Wanna...?"
"Oh yes..."
We quickly microwaved some popcorn, jumping onto the couch, to continue our marathon. It had been weeks since we started, and we watched whenever we had the chance. I snuggled up next to Sans, both of us settling into our regular spot. We were starting to develop a couch crease, which made it extra comfy.
"I love you Sans."
"I know, kiddo. Me too."
"Kiddo? I thought we were past that! We've been married for five years and you still wanna give me a nickname?" I teased.
"Hey!" He said defensively. "It's an endearing term! That was the first thing I called you, ya know."
"Aww, how sweet. But I'm not a kid."
"Not my problem." He threw a piece of popcorn in his mouth, turning back to the tv with a smirk.
"Comic Sans Gaster, you will never grow up." I shook my head, focusing on the screen.
"Neither will you. That's why I love you."
He turned my cheek to face him, and we kissed, full of love. No matter how many times we kissed, I would never get over the butterflies I got.
"Never change..."
You thought that was it but lol nope! Get pranked bro!
...I'm sorry...
Not really.
Anyway, this is just a little epilogue after the story! Because why not ¯\(ツ)/¯
Btw, pic at the top is little Jax, drawn by me (>~<) Hopefully decent enough to give you an idea of what he looks like.
It's actually the end now, and I will not be posting anything more on this book. Follow me for new books, and find me on the Undertale AU Amino for more art, if ya like it!
