Banishment ~24
I spun around and there was Ink in front of a portal, and- "ERROR!?" I panicked, jumping behind Sans.
"Nonono it's not like that!!" Ink waved his hands, and Error rolled his eyes. "We have something to tell you guys!"
"...really now. What might that be?" Gaster asked sarcastically.
Ink started jumping. "Gah, I'm so excited!" Suddenly, he was throwing up black ink.
"W- What!?"
He stopped, wiping his mouth. "Sorry, I got too excited." He chuckled nervously. "Anyways, Error has something to tell you guys!"
Error scowled, and sighed. "I'm sorry."
Ink clapped, making the only noise in the room.
"I don't believe it." Sans stated bluntly.
Error started growling, but Ink held him back. "Error promises to leave you guys alone! We made some deals while we were out."
"So just like that, he's going to stop attacking us? Somehow I don't believe it." I said hesitantly.
"Aw, c'mon, can't you trust this face?" Ink squished Error's cheeks. Error flailed away.
"Stop it you idiot."
"What did you say to make him stop?"
"Well, let's just say I pointed out a minor flaw." Ink chuckled, and I tilted my head.
"What?"
"Well, he wanted to fuse with Frisks' soul to destroy you, but Frisks' soul would never consent to that. The merging of a human soul and a monster soul is only capable where both hosts are willing, so..." Ink giggled.
Error growled. "Shut up. At least I have a soul." He retorted.
Gaster perked up. "What do you mean? Does Ink not have a soul?" He began creeping up to Error, but he quickly backed away.
"Personal space, Cracker."
I tried to cover my laughing, but failed. "Pffhhhahaha!!! S-Sorry, but Cracker? Hahaha!!!"
"He's got two big cracks in his head." He shrugged.
"Whatever," Gaster waved it off. I knew at this point he was deep in 'scientist mode' as I called it. "Ink, how do you have no soul?"
He rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "Heh, well, I just kinda exist off the creativity of the Creators, I guess."
"Fascinating! So h-"
Error cut Gaster off. "Yeah yeah, so cool. Can I leave yet?"
Ink happily took this opportunity to back away from Gaster. "Yes! We really must be off. Multiverse to keep in balance and all- bye!" Ink shoved Error through the newly-opened portal. He glanced back once more. "Hope to see ya soon, sis." And then he was gone.
"...I'll miss Ink." I said at last.
Sans threw his arm around me. "But you've still got the original, right?"
"Yeah, I sure do!" I laughed.
Gaster slid over to us, grinning like crazy. "If I do remember correctly, somebody confessed their undying love to some skeleton?"
I covered my face with my hands, blushing. I almost forgot about that. "G... why?"
"Are you embaaarassed?" He teased. "You should be proud of your feelings, Y/n! Embrace it!" He shook my shoulders.
"Yeah Y/n, ya gotta feel it in your bones, heh." Sans said nervously, clearly as uncomfortable as me. Does he not feel the same?
Sans' POV
I chuckled, trying to act casual. I needed to talk to Y/n about that alone, but I couldn't kick Gaster out. But, he was just making things uncomfortable.
"Well, I'll just leave you two love birds to it then!~" He teleported out. Thank Annoying Dog.
"So, Sans..." She started. "I- I understand if you don't feel the same. I mean, I'm a human, and you're a skeleton, and..." she wrung her hands nervously, and I hugged her, trying to calm her down.
"Shhh.... Relax, Y/n. I- I really like you too." I blushed brightly. I had never felt this way about someone, and there was something exhilarating about it.
She tensed up, but hugged back. "Thank you Sans. For everything."
And thus ends the 'Error Soul Arc', and begins 'The Proposition Arc'.
I'm good at names.
