Chapter 6: Endless Wind

"Alright! Great job for your first hero lesson!" Mei smiled, hugging Red Son even tighter than before.

Red Son felt the color drain from his face and he gasped, or attempted too. "YOU'RE...SQUISHING...ME..."

"Oh, sorry!" Mei laughed, letting go of the former Boy Sage King.

Red Son gasped for air, seeming relieved. "...how are you that strong...and yet so affectionate?"

"That's what I asked Sandy!" Mei said before blinking. "He, uhh, was still for a solid two minutes before shrugging it off."

Red Son slowly got up. "I think he was traumatized if his reaction was that."

"...that explains the cats." Mei said before feeling a breeze. She smiled, sighing blissfully. "Ah, a nice breeze is just what the doctor ordered."

But that's when the breeze got stronger and stronger, even with both Mei and Red Son struggling to stay on their feet. Red Son grunted, trying to clutch something. He even grabbed onto Mei to prevent her from flying off.

"Is there a tornado?!" Mei cried before whistling, calling for her bike to take them off. Thankfully, her bike could fly.

Red Son narrowed his eyes towards the breeze before he gasped. "Oh...oh, no..."

Mei turned as her bike flew over. She grabbed Red Son's wrist tightly and managed to get her footing, and hop onto her bike with Red Son behind her. "Hold on!!"

Red Son wrapped one of his arms tightly around Mei's waist before suddenly firing out a beam of fire towards the breeze.

Mei shook her head rapidly in confusion. "Uhh! Fire isn't going to stop a breeze!"

"It's not the breeze! JUST FLY!" Red Son said before suddenly? A golden trident just barely scraped them, stabbing the mountain walls beside them.

Mei's color drained from her face and she quickly flew off, her bike being enveloped in a green aura as it zoomed off.

Then? The Yellow Wind Demon landed, grinning as he watched them fly. "A chase scene, eh? Alright then." He said, flying higher into the air before chasing after them, being enveloped in a yellow aura.

Meanwhile, Red Son quickly summoned his gauntlet in a small burst of flames. "CAN'T THIS THING GO ANY FASTER?"

"Yes!" Mei said, screaming back at him. "But why are you so panicky?!"

"That's the Yellow Wind Demon!" Red Son screamed as they flew across the city. "That wind was unnatural! It was almost like an inferno!"

"Yellow Wind Demon?!" Mei cried. "Oh, Buddha! Not the Yellow Wind Demon! WHY THE YELLOW WIND DEMON?!" She then blinked. "Who's the Yellow Wind Demon?"

Red Son facepalmed. "He's the only other demon who's mastered an element with Samahidi! Like my fire!"

"You mean the blue fire that actually hurt The Monkey King?!" Mei shrieked.

Red Son nodded. "Yes! This wind can blind you...or slowly bend the air out of your lungs!"

"OKAY, FASTER WE GO!" Mei laughed, about to rev up her bike before? A golden and black hand grabbed her wrist.

"Awww, but we haven't even met." Feng grinned before punching Mei off the bike.

"MEI!" Red Son shrieked, teleporting off the bike and catching Mei, but falling himself.

Mei grabbed her sword, transforming into her biker/hero suit and then thrusting the sword forward as they fell, shooting out a green beam of energy at Feng.

Feng quickly dodged the beam before using his control over wind to stop Red and Mei from falling. He then lifted them higher into the fly, grabbing a giant sword. "Hmmm, you must be Mei Longma. I've flown miles to finally meet you...oh, and kill you." He said before swinging his sword.

Mei managed to block the sword swing with her own. She then managed to launch herself at Feng, using the energy from her sword.

The two engaged in a quick sword fight, green and golden blades clashing. Red Son tried to join the fight, but he was eventually blasted with an almost neverending wind.

Red Son screamed, covering his eyes as he fell through the air.

"RED!!!" Mei screeched, jumping off Feng to try and save him, but the wind prevented her.

"Oh, I'm sure he'll be fine." Feng cackled. "Or not. Maybe I'll him him after I do YOU!" He snarled, lifting his sword.

Mei snarled before slashing Feng across the face, the wind finally stopping as she fell. She increased her falling speed with energy from the Dragon Blade, eventually catching Red Son. "Red?! RED?!"

Red Son's eyes opened...they were completely white and gray. "M...Mei?"

Mei gasped before realizing they were coming too close to the ground. So, she stabbed her sword into a nearby building, stopping their fall. "Oh, Buddha, you're blind!"

"Where are we?!" Red Son exclaimed, trying to look around.

Then? Feng came crashing down, grabbing both Mei and Red Son by their necks. "I've only fought you two for about a minute, YET I ALREADY HATE YOU!!!"

"We get that a lot!" Mei said before kicking Feng...in the crotch.

Feng's eyes twitched before he shrieked, falling and letting go of the two.

Red Son blindly teleported, crashing Mei onto railing.

Mei groaned, holding her head before she looked at Red Son. "You ok...?"

"I'm blind, so? NO." Red Son screamed into a wall, thinking it was Mei.

Mei scooped him into her arms before looking down at Feng. "Okay, okay! What cured Wukong when he was blinded?!"

"Healing balm!" Red Son said. "But that's only in-"

"Wait! My house!" Mei exclaimed before whistling again, calling her bike. "It has tons of that stuff!"

"That shocking revelation aside, HURRY!" Red Son roared.

Mei nodded before zooming off, grabbing the Dragon Blade on the way.

Feng, after 10 minutes of lying on the ground in pain, stood up and growled, grabbing the Dragon Staff. "...I AM GONNA KILL THAT LITTLE GIRL."
