"AND THEN I KISSED HIM. I LITERALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED." Mei said, faceplanting into a bowl of noodles.

Tang blinked. "I...wow. A descendant of a dragon king and a fire demon. That's an odd couple."

Pigsy lifted Mei's face out, wiping off the soup with a towel. "Well, do ya like him?"

Mei's cheeks went red before she sat up. "I-I mean...m-maybe? I-I dunno! He...he is r-really nice deep down. I-I find that temper of his pretty f-funny...and k-kinda cute...and he's really smart! And I can e-even see an affectionate side of him somewhere. H-He doesn't show it a whole lot, but I know it's there."

Tang smirked a bit and slurped up some of his noodle soup before turning to Mei. "Yup. You definitely like him."

Mei's face went even redder and she covered her face with her hands, screaming into them out of embarrassment.

Pigsy laughed. "Oh, this'll be interesting."

"Ask him out then!" Tang said simply.

Mei shot up. "ARE YOU CRAZY?! HE'LL OBVIOUSLY SAY NO!"

Pigsy and Tang looked at each other before looking back at Mei. "Uhhh, Mei. I think you're forgetting that he went all the way to MACAQUE of all people to save you. He didn't even know about the rest of us!" Tang said.

"And also that Sleep Bug thing he fixed to save you too." Pigsy added. "He definitely likes you, even if he doesn't realize it."

Mei blushed so much she could've sworn she was on fire. She felt every single math equation in her head run around in mere seconds before she realized Pigsy and Tang were telling the truth. "OH."

Pigsy nodded. "Yyyyup."

Tang blinked. "How do we know so much about this when we've never fallen in love before?"

"...I don't know." Pigsy said.

Then, almost out of nowhere, Red Son teleported into the noodle shop, looking around. Mei quickly hid inside of the janitor's closet before he could notice, her face as red as his hair.

"Oh, hey Red." Pigsy said.

Red Son gave a wave, sitting down next to Tang. He then looked around more. "Where's Mei and what's his face?"

"You mean MK?" Tang snorted.

Red Son nodded. "Yes, KM!"

Pigsy narrowed his eyes before shrugging. "He's out doing the gods know what. And Mei is...uhhh..."

Red Son seemed to care more about where Mei was, while Tang looked at the closet and then gave Pigsy the gesture to lie.

"...doing...dragon...royal...noodle...soup...stuff." Pigsy blinked.

Tang facepalmed.

Red Son narrowed his eyes. "Do you take me for a fool?"

"I don't think you wanna know the answer to that." Pigsy said. "But why do you wanna find her?"

Red Son's cheeks turned a bit red and a few sparks came from his hair. "W-Well...I...I, err...maybe want to ask her out."

Mei crashed out of the closet, causing a hole to be created through the door. She faceplanted onto the floor and then flipped back to her feet. "REALLY?!?!"

Red Son yelped, falling off his chair while Tang just hid behind the counter and behind Pigsy, still holding his noodles like it was the most precious thing ever.

Mei blushed and quickly helped Red Son up. "S-Sorry, sorry!"

Red Son cleared his throat, standing up. "U-Uhhh, it's alright...wait, you heard that?"

Mei's face went even redder and she rubbed her arm. "M-Maybe?"

"...w-what do you say t-then?" Red Son asked, for once, seeming incredibly nervous instead of the prideful and boastful demon prince he usually was.

Mei wanted to shriek out 'yes', but she didn't wanna scare him off or seem TOO excited. "Y-Yes! I-I mean, sure!"

Red Son's eyes widened and he couldn't hold back a smile. "G-Great! W-When and w-where? I...I don't exactly have a plan."

"Ummmm...oh! How about now! I got the perfect place!" Mei said. "We don't need to look f-formal or anything." She said, her mind drifting off to a fancy looking Red Son. He WAS royalty after all.

Red Son seemed to have done the same before snapping out of it. "Then lead the way!"

Mei then smirked. "Wanna race?"

"Oh, as if I'd lose to you." Red Son smirked, teleporting to his race car.

Mei whistled, summoning her bike and hopping on it once she was outside. She then activated her biker suit and drove off, with Red Son chasing after her. The two quickly zoomed off.

Pigsy chuckled. "Young love...yo, Tang?"

"Yeah?"

"You better be paying for those noodles."

The two zoomed all around Megapolis before getting out of the city. Mei and Red Son were in a complete tie before reaching a field, at the exact same time. Mei cheered, deactivating her suit and hopping into the air. "I win!"

"Ah, ah, m'lady!" Red Son said in a teasing voice. "I believe I was the winner."

"You were not!" Mei said before looking around. "Oh! There it is!"

Red Son turned and saw a single cherry blossom tree on a hilltop. It was blooming with its fascinating pink color, and even he thought it looked beautiful.

Mei walked under it, sitting down. She would often come here as a little girl to play around, look at bugs, or just play hide and seek with MK when they were kids.

Red Son teleported over, having grabbed some kind of basket from his car and then sitting down next to her. "You're lucky I packed food."

Mei laughed. "Yeah, kinda forgot about that." She then blushed a bit, only now remembering that this was basically a date.

Red Son opened the basket, taking out a few snacks. Including some ancient looking ones that looked a lot like mooncakes.

Mei curiously took one. "What's this?"

"Oh! My mother made me those a lot when I was younger." Red Son said. "I'd advise you be careful."

Mei took a bite. "Why-" That's when she breathed out green fire right from her mouth, smoke coming from the cake shortly after the fire disappeared. She then hummed. "Not bad."

"Causes one to breathe fire, but it is delicious." Red Son chuckled.

The two kept chatting with each other while eating the food Red Son brought. Some normal, some demonic. Either way, it was tasty.

Mei then blushed. "I, uhh, I'm glad you a-asked."

Red Son's cheeks went red and he looked to the side. "D-Don't mention it...I'm honestly surprised you s-said yes. I thought you were The Noodle Boy's girl a few times."

Mei was silent before snorting and laughing. "What? No! I mean, yeah, I could see us trying it out! But MK's my best friend! I've known him since I was three! It'd be like dating my brother!"

Red Son hummed. "Now I see why. Not to mention, he doesn't seem to be interested in dating."

"Eh, he never thought about it." Mei said. "Don't think he's a fan of it either."

Red Son nodded, taking a bite out of another cake, but the fire breath didn't affect him due to being a fire demon. "S-So...ummm...what about that kiss?"

Mei's eyes widened and she squeaked. "K-Kiss?"

Red Son felt an idea spark in his mind, and reason seemed to have shut down for a moment. "R-Remember? This?"

He then leaned in and kissed her cheek.

Mei's face went red and her brain exploded into a million bazillion pieces. She couldn't process anything, let alone think about what just happened.

Red Son's eyes widened. "I-I'm sorry! I-I wasn't thinking-"

Mei snapped out of it. "N-No! No, it's alright!" She said with a blush. "B-But...I, uhh...I-I don't know what was going on there, heh!"

Red Son took those words into thought and nodded. "A-Ah...you know what? We can f-focus on that another time. Let's just enjoy ourselves."

Mei smiled, scooting closer. "Y-Yeah! Let's just have some fun."
