-3D POV-

Our story starts in a small town in Japan. It's Saturday and a sunny day. People doing their on things but our attention shifts to an orphanage. We can see many kids playing in the garden playing together behind it, well, almost everyone. There was one 6 year old boy sitting alone under the tree with only his friend wolf Sif, this was our protagonist Y/N who recently unlocked his 2nd sacred gear and was speaking to the spirit inside it while Sif was sleeping on his lap(puppy form).

Y/N: 'So what can you do?'

???: 'Well I can use the seven elements like fire, wind and others. Right now you cannot use them but with enough training you will master them'

Y/N: 'Oh that's cool. What's your name by the way?'

Zhongli: '*giggle* My name is Zhongli, pleasure to meet you Y/N'

Y/N: 'How do you- oh wait, you're inside my mind I forgot'

Zhongli: 'So why are you here alone? Go play with some kids'

Y/N: 'It's not like I don't want to. It's just the others are scared of me and call me a freak because I always talk with Sif'

Zhongli: 'I'm sorry to hear that. Let's change the topic, do you know about supernatural?'

Y/N: 'Yes, master Artorias told and explained everything to me'

Zhongli: 'Who?'

Artorias: 'That would be me, pleasure to meet you Zhongli'

Zhongli: 'OH HOLY CHRIST. Don't scare me like that. So you're Artorias? I lived a long time but I never heard of you'

Artorias: 'You may know me as a Wolf Knight'

Zhongli: 'Wait wait wait, as in THE Wolf Knight'

Artorias: 'The very same'

Zhongli: 'Well Holy moly. Then where is your Wolf companion?'

Y/N: 'On my lap'

Zhongli: 'Oh. Wait, you felt that?'

Artorias: 'Yes, it's-'

Y/N: 'Devils, and strong ones'

Artorias: 'We're gonna hide our presence, stay strong Y/N'

Just as they hid their presence the caretaker walked outside with a family behind her. A man, a woman and a little girl. This was Darkwood family.

-Agares POV-

We walked outside and saw many kids playing.

Caretaker: You can watch them play and choose who you want to adopt.

Emily: Sera, who do you want a brother or a sister?

Seraphina: A brother.

Agares: Hmmmmm.

I looked around and watched the kids play but one boy caught my attention. He had blonde hair and gold eyes.

Agares: 'Interesting'

He was sitting alone under a tree with what looked like a wolf pup playing with it. I nudged my wife, she looked at me and I pointed in the boys direction.

Emily: May I ask. Who is that boy under a tree? And how old is he?

Caretaker: Ah, that's Y/N he's 6. I found him alone in a park last year with a wolf pup by his side. I brought him here and he told me that his parents said to wait for them in the park from the morning and it was almost 10 in the evening. But when I wanted to help him it wasn't that simple.

Agares: What do you mean?

Caretaker: When I tried to approach him the wolf stood in front of me and growled like it was trying to protect him. I asked him what was the name of his wolf but he said "I still haven't decided". He's a smart boy, he loves helping me around and reads a lot of books about the Knights of the Roundtable, surprisingly.

Emily: Interesting. Anything else?

Caretaker: After his first month here he approached me and said that he found a name for his wolf. When I asked him what was it he said that he got inspired by the one of the Knights of the Roundtable, the Wolf Knight Artorias-

Agares/Emily: *eyes widen* 'That name'

Caretaker: -and that he had a companion, a wolf so he called him the same name, Sif.

Agares: Well that's interesting. So Sera do you want him as your brother? *no response* Sera?

Emily: Honey look.

My wife pointed in the direction and I saw Sera talking with Y/N while petting Sif.

Agares: That answers my question. Where do we sign the adoption papers?

Caretaker: Come with me.

-A little later    Y/N POV-

I was talking with Seraphina, she told me to call her just Sera, when caretaker Lisa and two older people walked over to us. While caretaker Lisa was holding a case.

Y/N: 'I'm guessing that they are Seraphinas parents'

Man: Sera it's time to go.

Seraphina: Awwww, why?

Woman: Sera, me and your dad still have things to do at home.

Seraphina: *sad* Ok. *stands up and turns to me* Bye Y/N.

Y/N: Bye, it was good to have a friend, even if it's temporary.

Caretaker Lisa: What do you mean Y/N? You're coming with them, they adopted you and I already gathered all of your things in this case.

Y/N: *stands up* Really?

Man: Of course. Welcome to the family Y/N.

I ran to him and hugged his legs while saying thank you over and over again.

Dad: Haha, no problem my boy. Now let's go, you still need to settle in.

I let go of his legs and all of us started walking to the exit, I could feel the jealous stares from all the other kids so I did the only thing I could do. I faced them and struck a pose like a true Joestar, the same like in the anime I watched. Rest in piece Ceasar Anthonio Zeppeli you were a true friend. Anyway the pose I struck basically said 'SUCK IT' and before anything happened I ran back to Dad who was waiting for me next to a car.

Caretaker Lisa: I'm going to miss you Y/N.

Y/N: I'm going to miss you too. I'll visit you in the future. Bye.

Caretaker Lisa: Bye Y/N.

I got into the car and we drove off. While we were driving I was talking to Sera while Sif was sleeping on her lap. After a hour ride we stopped in front of a mansion. WAIT WHAT?! MANSION!

Y/N: IT'S HUGE.

Dad: *whisper* That's what she said.

Mom: Yes it's big and it's your new home. Sera go show him to his room.

Seraphina: Ok.

She grabbed my hand and started leading me through the mansion while also showing me around and greeting some maids and butlers. We soon stopped in front of a door.

Seraphina: Here we are. My room is just next to yours, you settle in and I'll be waiting for you in the living room.

With that she left. I looked at Sif who was standing next to me and he looked at me. I opened the door and was shocked, IT'S SO COOL, the room is so big and i already like it here.

I noticed my case on my bed. So I walked over to it and opened it. I saw all my clothes but most importantly I saw my favorite book titled "The Knights of Roundtable" and a note on it so I picked it it and read it.

"Dear Y/N I know how much you like this book so I gave it to you as a goodbye gift and so you can remember me. -Caretaker Lisa"

Y/N: Thank you, I promise I'll visit you.

I remembered that Sera and her family was waiting for me so I left my room while Sif stayed in it and I saw him already sleeping on the bed. After a minute of walking I arrived into the living room and dad looking at some documents. They noticed me and turned to me.

Emily: Here you are. Do you like your new room?

Y/N: I do, I have never seen such fancy rooms.

Agares: That's good. Now I wanted to ask you your second name. In the adoption documents it doesn't say your second name.

Y/N: Oh, my full name is Y/N Cinder.

Seraphina: Cinder?

Y/N: It's the only thing that comes to my mind when I think about my second name.

Agares: Then from this day forward your name is Y/N Darkwood.

Y/N: No.

Agares: No?

Y/N: It's Y/N Cinder Darkwood, I want to keep my second name.

Agares: Ok then. Y/N Cinder Darkwood it is. Now let's eat and off to bed.

The 4 of us had dinner and right now I was laying in bed with Sif next to me.

Y/N: 'They don't seem that bad despite being Devils'

Artorias: 'This will be an interesting life'

Y/N: 'Indeed it will, goodnight Artorias, Zhongli'

Artorias/Zhongli: 'Goodnight/Goodnight'
