Everything was in chaos. Two people struggling, one lying with a stab wound on the floor, and an army of mind-controlled people lead by one machine.

Lukas held Jesse back as she fell to her knees, screaming as Aiden groaned painfully, clutching his stomach which was covered in blood.

"Grab her," the robot commanded, and suddenly, about ten, probably more, chipped people reached for her, still in Lukas arms. He gasped and pulled her backwards until he met the solid wall behind him. Jesse was gritting her teeth and stopped screaming, and cried out as three grabbed her arms.

PAMA laughed, its voice ringing through the house.

"Give up, it's over." It said, grinning evilly. "All over."

Jesse struggled as she tried to pry the hands off of her, as Lukas was trying to pull her back.

Suddenly, his arms slipped and she lurched towards PAMA, barely gabbing Lukas' hand by a second.

"Jesse-" he exclaimed, face looking strained with effort. "I've got you."

She looked at him with pleading eyes, tears making them shine.

"Lukas-" she replied, voice cracking. "Let go."

His eyes widened and he shook his head rapidly. Their hands held tightly together as the chipped people pulled Jesse towards their leader.

"I already left you once, I'm not doing it again!" He basically shouted, sweat beading down his forehead. She gritted her teeth and looked at him strongly.

"God-dammit Lukas!" She cried back at him, face wet from tears as he looked at her in shock. "Just listen to me! You didn't before, so do it now!"

He didn't know what to do, but those words pierced his mind like an arrow spiraling into his brain. She looked at him for a moment, her gaze saying 'go' and then releasing her hand from his. Lukas shouted as they pulled Jesse towards PAMA, her struggling against the iron grip. She then stopped struggling and let them pull her, taking something out of her inventory.

Lukas lunged forward, but was blocked by the overpowered army.

"Jesse-!" He shouted desperately, as she called out his name as well. "Lukas-!"

He could see her holding a bottle in his hand, with a shiny liquid in it. She then mouthed the word 'catch' and threw the bottle towards him. He quickly jumped backwards and caught the bottle right before it reached the ground.

The liquid made something in his stomach churn. Ivor's invisibility potion.

He stared at the bottle for a bit, still in a state of shock, and then turned back to Jesse, who was being dragged away. His heart felt like it was breaking once again. He couldn't lose her. Not again.

"Go! Lukas!" She shouted, commanding him. Her green eyes burned with determination but also realization. "Just go!"

The look on her face made him break, and he gave her once last glance before opening the bottle and taking a large gulp. He could feel himself disappear as a tingling sensation rippled throughout his body. The chipped people looked around for him, confused.

"Where-? Oh well, I have what I came here for, anyway. To the lair." PAMA laughed and began heading outside the house, bringing Jesse and an injured Aiden along too. Lukas jumped out the window, but not before giving the scene one last glance, the churning feeling in his stomach rising once again.
