Trapped

'Evil Lurks in places you would never imagine and tries to charm it's way into your life'

The Gaang made camp on the island outside of Sozin's cove. Sokka and Aang shared a sleeping bag as Aang offered his for Lillian to use until she can get her own. Lillian, Katara and Toph laid on one side of the dying camp fire and Sokka and Aang on the other. There was total darkness except for the light ember's of the old camp fire. A peaceful silence filled the area along with Kasai's sleeping purr. Everything was perfect.

"mmmmm" Sokka shuffled in his sleep, "Put it out...." Aang mumbled. Lillian rolled onto her back as she listened to the two boys, "Come on... put the light out!" Sokka groaned placing his arm over his eyes, "Could you just shut it!" Toph growled as she bent a pebble at Sokka's head *THUD*

"HEY!" Sokka yelped, "Watch it Toph!" Sokka growled sitting up.

"I'll watch it when you Shut it!"

"What's the problem?" Katara asked sleepily.

"Toph bent a rock at my head all because," Sokka started

"Because Lillian wont put out the light!" Aang groaned pulling the cover over his head.

Lillian sat up sleepily, "What light--- ahhhh!!!" Lillian yelped as her crystal pulled her forward and then swung around, "What's the big Idea!" Lillian complained as she grabbed her crystal.

"What's going on with your necklace?" Aang asked sitting up.

Lillian shrugged and stared at her crystal thinking for a moment before realizing that the crystal was trying to lead her to , "The Capital" Lillian whispered worriedly.

"Is that what it did when I broke the feather?" Aang asked tilting his head. Lillian nodded, "I need to go." Lillian said standing to gather her things, "What??? Where?" Toph questioned sitting up, "Someone needs me." Lillian said stuffing her belongings in a bag, "No! You can't leave me with these babies!" Toph cried, "I'll be back. I've mesmerized Sokka's schedule." Lillian said emotionless, "Don't you think your being stupid?" Katara's cold voice spoke causing silence to fall as Lillian stopped packing, "What is that suppose to mean?" Lillian huffed crossing her arms over her chest, "I'm just saying... Azula or that Purple eyed freak could be planning something or-"

"Or my grandfather could be in trouble and needs my help." Lillian said silencing Katara. Katara looked down, "I'm sorry it's just.... We don't want you getting hurt." Katara whispered. Lillian smiled at the young girl who she has grown quiet fond of, "Don't worry. I'm a tough girl. I can handle myself." Lillian gave Katara a small hug, "You still have the silver feather I gave you?" Lillian asked turning to Aang, "Right here!" Aang grinned as he lifted his shirt, "Great. I'll see you guys soon!" Lillian winked stepping back, "Keep Kasai with you, I shouldn't be gone long." Lillian spoke looking over at the sleeping lionshark.

The Gaang came together for one last group hug, "Keep out of trouble Pebble." Lillian mumbled into Toph's ear causing the blind girl to grin, "no promises."

Lillian pulled away before the white flames escaped from her feet and placed her crystal back around her neck, "Stay flaming!" Lillian grinned before releasing her great wings and taking off into the night sky!

The Gaang returned to their places before a certain Monk made a heartbreaking discovery...

"Hey... She took my sleeping bag!"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lillian soared through the night sky following the intense glow that emitted from her crystal. Someone needed her and she would make sure that she's be there in time to help them, no matter what.

The wind hissed in Lillian's ears as she raced through the sky, over the great gates of Azulon into "The Capital!" Lillian gasped as she realized where her crystal had lead her. A journey that is going to take Sokka them a month took her three hours, "Who would need me here?" Lillian whispered under her breath as she hovered over the sleeping city. Lillian moved cautiously through the air as he crystal led her to the Fire Nation Palace.

Silence... No guards marching. No Taverns music playing only the light sound of fire burning in the distance.

"Ahhh!" Lillian heard in the distance, "No..." Lillian felt her lip tremble, "Get up and fight old man..." Mac hissed. At that moment Lillian knew who needed her. How he got her feather she didn't know but she's glad he did...

"GET AWAY FROM HIM!" Lillian screamed unleashing a large wave of white fire at Mac. Lillian landed in front of Iroh's folding form, "Lil.." Iroh tried but Lillian ignored him, "Picking on old people are we?" Lillian growled as Mac stood up, "It's not just the old man." Mac said gesturing to a shadowed area where rubble laid scattered around a lifeless form. All Lillian saw was long dark brown hair and a royal firenation hair piece, "Azula!" Lillian gasped as she tried to rush to the princesses side but was hit back by Mac's great wings, "tsk Tsk, Leave my play things alone." Mac mocked swinging a long steel pipe around. Lillian's gaze fell on Iroh who was trying to gain her attention. He was still in the same place she had seen him when she arrived, "Uncle... MOVE!" Lillian yelled as Mac walked towards him, but froze when she saw a shimmer of something silver under Iroh's cloak, "What the?" Suddenly Iroh stood exposing silver chains, "It's a trap Lillian! You must LEAVE!" Iroh yelled. Lillian's face fell with shock but she regained herself when she shot a quick strike of lightning at Mac causing him to stumble back in pain. Lillian rushed to Iroh's side and broke his chains with her bare hands, "I'm getting you out of here!" Lillian smiled at the old man. Lillian looked over to the damaged area where she had seen Azula's lifeless body lay, "What the-" Lillian was suddenly pulled back by a thick black string causing her to choke, "LILLIAN!" Iroh cried as he watched the blonde Tenshi being dragged away. Lillian flipped forward causing her attacker to be flung over her body, "Azula!" Lillian growled, "Hello, so nice to know that you care to visit!" Azula said mockingly. Mac tossed something at Azula and Lillian raised her arms ready to attack, "Time to come home Lillian!" Azula hissed as she charged swiftly at Lillian. There was a blur of pink and suddenly Lillian fell to her knees, "Ty Lee?" Lillian growled, "sorry Lilly." Ty Lee whispered sadly as she backed away so that Azula could stand before Lillian, "This will be over quickly." Azula said as she placed something around Lillian's neck. Lillian tried to see what Azula was placing around her neck but hissed as she felt something burning her chest, "A dark crystal!" Lillian cried as she felt her body feeling suddenly heavy.

"FIGHT IT LILLIAN!" Lillian heard Iroh call from behind her, "Take my Uncle back to his Cell!" Azula ordered at some guards.

Lillian stood grasping her head as a loud screeching noise filled her ears,

'This is your destiny'

'You can see your family again'

'Your friends'

'The man you love'

Lillian kept her eyes shut as she released a ear piercing scream

"Why is it taking so long????" Azula hissed at Mac who seemed surprised at the fact that Lillian was still fighting the dark crystal, "What's going on?" Mai asked rushing out with Zuko right behind her. Zuko froze when he saw Lillian before them, "What is she doing here?" Mai asked shocked and turning to Ty Lee who just pointed at Azula.

"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!" Lillian screamed as flames engulfed her hands and she tried removing the crystal slightly burning herself, "AZULA! what is the meaning of this?" Zuko ordered, before Azula could respond she noticed that there was silence and Lillian was down on her knees again and her long blonde hair hung over her face.

Azula smirked as she stalked towards Lillian's broken figure, "Have you returned home to your people Lillian?" Azula asked with a large smile.

Lillian stood slowly with her hair still covering her eyes. Zuko looked over at Mac who was grinning like a murderer.

Lillian lifted her head revealing her entire face that seemed exactly the same but the moment Lillian's eyes shot open Azula stumbled back, "Her eyes!" Azula gasped slightly causing Zuko and Mai to stand closer. Mac placed his hand on Lillian's shoulder turning her to him, "Princess, do you know who I am?" Mac asked confidently. Lillian stared blankly at Mac and then at Zuko. Her eyes starring coldly into his Gold eyes, "Her eyes look... demon like." Ty lee said slightly afraid hiding behind Azula, "Princess Azula?" Lillian whispered, "Prince Zuko?" Lillian looked over at Ty lee and Mai and then her eyes rested on Mac, "Mac? What happened?" Lillian asked holding her head,

"You were ambushed months ago during an attack that Princesses Azula was leading against the Earth Kingdom of Ba sing sai. The agents knocked your head causing you to have amnesia, we've been trying to help you regain your memories." Mac said calmly waving his hand before her with a small purple flame almost hypnotizing her, "I need to sit down..." Lillian said holding her head, "Don't worry Lillian... We'll take good care of you." Azula said placing Lillian's arm around her neck, "Thank you Azula." Lillian smiled.

Zuko looked between Mac and Ty Lee, "Explain this!" Zuko growled. Mac raised his hands in defense, "All you need to know is that the Princess is now on our side and she has no memory of the Avatar and his friends." Mac grinned, "Azula is up to something..." Zuko hissed. Mac shrugged, "She has no memory so that means you need to watch what you say. Don't go feeling sorry for her now." Mac growled walking past Zuko, "I Don't feel anything for her!" Zuko barked gaining a smirk from Mac, "We'll see, Prince Honor." Mac hissed.

Lillian POV

My head wont stop pounding. I keep hearing this high pitch scream all the damn time! Mac says it's from my injury but I can't remember anything. And my dreams, their so confusing. I keeping dreaming about people I've never met and Crest??? What the? But Azula and Mac are constantly at my sides and in all honesty, the last thing I remember was joining Zuko's search for the Avatar.

*knock at door*

"It's open." I call while standing up. The door opens slowly and at first no one walks in but I can hear restless breathing until Zuko walked in, "Morning Zuko!" I feel myself smile at him, he really has grown to be a handsome prince, "Morning." He replied coldly. I raised my eyebrow in confusion to his cold attitude, "Is something wrong?" I ask when he usher's the doors closed. Zuko's shoulder's seemed to tense, "Your a tenshi..." Zuko said with his back facing me. I guess I trusted them enough to tell them since Mac is with us?

"Yeah... I told you, remember?" I said sarcastically.

"How?" Zuko questioned.

"Excuse me?"

"How did you tell me?" Zuko asked more aggressively making me even more confused.

"I... I" My head began to ache as a high pitch noise ran through my ears, "I don't remember..." I stepped closer and stood before him, "Can you help me remember please?" I ask almost feeling extremely vulnerable. Zuko stared at me as if I was a stranger, "What's the last thing you remember.... about ...." Zuko's cheeks flushed pink and I felt like I was a firebender in the middle of the North Pole without a moon...hmmm odd thought to have, "About?" I questioned confused but Zuko seemed hurt, "About us? The last thing we did together." I stared at him for a second before a flash of memories ran through my head causing me to sway and fall into his chest, "I remember having an argument with you... and throwing you over board. It was about, me wanting to go home?" I answered looking up into Zuko's golden eyes. Zuko shut his eyes and grabbed my shoulder's, "You and I-"

"Am I interrupting something?" I heard Azula ask. I felt a sudden rush of anger at her but why? She's my friend isn't she?

"Good Morning Princess Azula!" I bowed, "Zuko was helping me with some memories." I say with a small smile, "Oh? What have you regained?" Azula asked stepping into my room with her arms behind her back, "Not much... If I may ask... how did I reveal myself to you?" I asked almost out of breath. Azula played with her hair, "It was a rather odd day for us all." Azula said looking over at her brother.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Normal POV

" It was about a month after My father appointed you as a Commander in his army and we had a few rebels after us." Azula said looking over at her brother, "We all were sent on a mission and you had a few rebels after you. One day they cornered my brother and I at the edge of a cliff side and tossed us off. You being the marvelous woman you are, exposed yourself and saved us." Azula finished. Zuko's eyes turned dark but Lillian didn't seem to notice, "It sounds familiar. Thank you Azula. Hopefully all will return soon so that I can return to my post." Lillian grinned, "I'll see you in the dining hall!" Lillian hummed as she skipped out of her room.

"I think it's best you stay away from Lillian." Azula said coldly at Zuko, "I'll do what I want!" Zuko growled back, "I'm trying to protect you dum-dum. If that crystal is removed... She'll remember everything... And we don't want that." Azula poked Zuko's head, "She's not your puppet Azula!" Zuko hissed, "Oh, don't pretend to care now brother, do you think this is a clean slate for you? May I remind you that you killed her water tribe friend. I don't think she'll remain so calm once she finds out." Azula smirked walking past Zuko, "She still has memories with you. If she rememebers anything about the avatar... you are to let me know right away! We can't afford for her to find out. If you can do that you can see her but don't forget about Mai." Azula said as she walked out to join Lillian in the dining room.

Zuko stood there fuming at the thought of all the memories he and Lillian shared. His mind was filled with so much. She kept things from him but he hurt her and her friends. But no matter what, he missed her everyday and night since they shared their union that night in Ba sing sai. Mai was filling his heart but with Lillian back he could try again... Couldn't he?
