Lillian stumbled into the small apartment. Her brother's and Crest had taken Ling home and were going to watch over her until Mac makes another appearance, but for now... She needed rest. Iroh and Zuko shouldn't be home for another hour, so that gave Lillian enough time to bath and sleep. She filled the tub and used her fire bending to heat the water. Lillian then removed her clothes and lowered herself into the bath, "mmm, just what I needed." She hummed. The scent of midnight Jasmine over took the apartment, "Thank you Zuko for the bath oils." Lillian whispered before slipping under the water. Lillian remained under the water for a few minutes before resurfacing. Lillian then removed the plug and climbed out of the tub and wrapping the towel around her. Lillian dried down her body and ruffled her hair with towel. Before placing all of her clothes on Lillian stood still and stared at herself in the mirror. Her long damp hair stuck to her face. Her eyes were their bright crimson again. Her scars had faded and were a pure white, except for the ones on her lower back, they still remained a dark red. Lillian rolled her shoulders and sighed as all the pressured points popped in satisfaction. 

When Lillian finished dressing she placed a pot of rice on the stove and went to her room to lay down. The apartment was quiet and cool, it felt so empty without Iroh and Zuko there but Lillian knew that they would be there soon. Lillian's eyes began to fall heavy and before she knew it, she was asleep.

'Lillian found herself roaming the halls of the sky temple in a long red and white dress, "My Queen, it's time for the council meeting with the Fire Lord." said a servant with her Earth kingdom robes, "Best not keep him waiting." Lillian replied with a sigh. The doors to the grand hall opened to reveal the back of the Fire Lord, "Fire Lord" Lillian said as she gave a small curtsy, "Queen Lillian." said an all too familiar voice. Lillian lifted her head and met the most lively color of golden eyes, "It's been too long Fire Lord." Lillian said as she stood straight. Zuko took hold of Lillian's hand and placed a small kiss on it. Lillian blushed at the manner and then made her way to the head of the table, "Fire Lord Zuko, Lord Ozai, General Azula and Queen Lillian. Thank you for allowing me to speak with you all today." General Thorn spoke. Lillian's eyes widened at the sight of the besides her and Zuko but mostly at her father, "Daddy..." Lillian whispered shock. The room fell quiet and Thorn seemed uncomfortable, "Since the control of Ba sing sai and the North pole our forces have taken strong hold and remained in control." Thorn said, "But with the Avatar still alive he seems to be keeping hope alive among the rebellion." Thorn continued, "Where is the Avatar?" Lillian heard herself ask. The room fell quiet before Azula began laughing, "You're trying that joke thing again Queen Lillian? Oh you're getting better!" Azula said in between giggles. Lillian was confused, "Excuse me?" Lillian asked causing Azula to stop, "His in your dungeon." Zuko said with no emotion at all, "No he is most certainly not!" Lillian argued before standing, "The Avatar is the last hope of the world returning to balance!" Lillian hissed causing everyone to gasp, "I am his protector! I will not let him remain there any longer!" Lillian yelled before storming towards the temple's dungeon's. 

Lillian entered the dungeons and noticed that 5 torches were lit which means that 5 cells were filled. Lillian stopped at the first one were she saw Iroh huddled in the corner wasting away, "Uncle! NO! Open this gate! Let him out!" Lillian ordered as Fire Lord Zuko walked in, "Queen Lillian, you sentenced him to life in prison, why would you want to release him?" Zuko questioned. Lillian rushed to the second door where she saw the water tribe siblings and Toph chained against the wall, "No..." Lillian gasped as she stumbled back to the third door, "Silly Lilly..." growled a voice before a set of hands grabbed Lillian around her throat, "You shouldn't be here." Crest's voice hissed, "No! let me go!" Lillian screamed as she burnt Crest's hands. Lillian ran to the forth Cell and saw her's brother's lifeless bodies on the floor, "Their dead." Crest said darkly, "And it's all your fault." Crest added. Lillian shook in fear and stepped to the 5th and final cell, "Queen Lillian! Step back." Zuko ordered from behind her. Lillian grabbed the bars of the cell and stared at the small figure in the dark with his head down chained in midair, "Aang?" Lillian gasped. Nothing. No movement came from the young Avatar, "AANG!" Lillian yelled as she shook the bars, "LOOK AT ME!" Lillian yelled as tears streamed down her cheeks, "Lilly..." Zuko said as he placed his hand on her shoulder, "You need to rest." Zuko whispered trying to pull Lillian towards him but instead she shoved him away with her wings and bent the bars to the cell open. Lillian then rushed to Aang and cut down the chains, "Aang?" Lillian whispered as she approached the small boy who now laid on the floor, "Lilly?" was that Aang or Zuko? Suddenly the Avatar's tattoo's began to glow and he formed a large ball of all four the elements. The earth slammed against Zuko's head killing him instantly, "Zuko!"Lillian cried as she fell to her knees beside Zuko's dead body, fire flew towards her, "You failed as my Tenshi!" Aang's voiced roared with a thousand other's, "No please! I didn't know!" Lillian cried as she bent her own white flames around her, "Lilly..." Echoed the voice, "You failed and you will be alone forever!" Aang said before burning Lillian's legs, "NO!" Lillian screamed, "LILLY!!!" Lillian shut her eyes trying to ignore the pain and heat against her body, "LILLIAN!" 

Zuko shook Lillian's shoulder's to try and wake her up, "LILLIAN!" Zuko yelled. Lillian's eyes opened in a rush of fear, "NO! I didn't mean to... to..." Lillian yelled before taking deep breaths, "Zuko? W-what happened?" Lillian asked as she took in the small burn marks around her, "I was hoping you could tell me." Zuko sighed in relief, "You were having a nightmare I guess." Zuko said as he placed his hand against Lillian's forehead, "Your burning up. Literally." Zuko said worried as he helped Lillian stand, "I'm sorry." Lillian said as she held her head, "Want to talk about it?" Zuko asked softly as he took her shoulder's. Lillian looked up into his golden eyes, those eyes that had so much love and emotion, "No, I'm fine now thanks to you." Lillian said as she kissed Zuko's cheek. Zuko gave a small goofy smile, "Your welcome." Zuko whispered pulling Lillian close, "Hmmm, my Prince in Earth Kingdom armor." Lillian teased. Zuko smiled at Lillian, "You've never come off as a damsel in distress kind before." Zuko teased back, "What? Is something wrong with a girl who can fight better than you." Lillian said with a wink causing Zuko to blush, "I could beat you! I... I just let you win so that I don't hurt your pride." Zuko defended. Lillian crossed her arms over her chest, "So that means I will have to actually kick your royal behind?" Lillian asked in a sad tone, "And here I thought that we were getting along so well." Lillian said walking towards Zuko causing him to step back, "Lilly what are you-" Zuko fell back onto Lillian's bed, "We are about to fight Zuko, are you ready?" Lillian whispered almost seductively, "Uh- Lil, Lilly, I don't uh...um." Zuko stuttered and felt his face heat up. Lillian placed her knee on the edge of the bed, "What's wrong Zuzu?" Lillian asked with a small pout. Zuko's eyes widened as he watched Lillian approach the bed, "I uh..." Zuko began but gulped down his words as he heard his heart rate pick up and the sweat form on his brow. Lillian slowly climbed on the bed and knelt over Zuko's body. Lillian's loose hair fell over her shoulder and hung just beside Zuko's face. Lillian leaned closer causing Zuko's heart to race and his breathing to pick up pace. Lillian leaned closer and closer and just before her lips met his she burst into a fit of giggles and rolled over, "Hahaha, You should have seen your face!" Lillian giggled. Zuko felt his blush grow, "You looked like you were about to get eaten by a dragon!" Lillian added as she held her stomach. Zuko huffed before he sat up and crossed his arms, "I knew you were joking." Zuko said sounding disappointed, "Hey..." Lillian whispered. Zuko turned to face Lillian and had his lips suddenly captured by hers. Lillian pulled away and smiled, "Don't be so upset, you got your kiss." Lillian smiled. Zuko smiled at the girl before him as she stared into his eyes. Maybe being with Lillian could be his new life, "Lilly... Are you happy here?" Zuko asked softly as he held Lillian's hand, "What do you mean?" Lillian asked slightly confused, "Are you happy here in the Earth kingdom with us? With me?" Zuko repeated his question. Lillian was taken back the sudden question but knew that after everything that it was bond to come up, "Honestly... I've never been happier. I miss home.... a lot." Lillian began, "But having you and Iroh is all I need. We're a family." Lillian added with a small smile. Zuko was slightly surprised by her answer, "Are you happy here?" Lillian asked Zuko in return, "I..." Zuko thought about his answer carefully as he stared into Lillian's hopeful eyes. He's heart was torn between being with Lillian and returning home to his rightful place on the throne. He knew that Lillian would be upset so he told her what he knew what she wanted to hear, "I have everything here with you." Zuko said softly. Lillian's eyes lit up and she had the most beautiful smile ever on her face. Zuko found himself smiling back but his heart felt heavy with guilt, "Everything?" Lillian asked leaning in to hear his answer again, "everything." Zuko repeated as he leaned over and placed his lips on Lillian's.

Lillian felt Zuko wrap his arms around her waist and pull her closer to him. Zuko held Lillian's face and tilted his to the side as he deepened their kiss. Lillian loved the feeling of Zuko's warm lips on her's. He rested his hand just below her ear and his thumb was allowed to caress her cheek. Lillian slipped her arms around Zuko's neck allowing her to tangle her finger's in his long shaggy hair. Zuko pulled Lillian onto his lap so that she was straddling him without breaking the kiss. Lillian's breathing quickened at this action causing Zuko to smirk into their kiss and slowly slid his tongue along her bottom lip. Lillian denied Zuko access which caused him to growl in frustration and Lillian to smile in triumph. The world disappeared around Zuko as he laid Lillian down and began kissing her neck with small electric kisses. Lillian pulled Zuko's face back so that she could have his lips once more but Zuko pulled away and continued his actions as before. Lillian's heart was slamming in her chest as Zuko went towards her collar bone and her arms had a mind of their own as the slid down Zuko's back. Lillian felt Zuko nimble on her collar bone causing a small moan to escape her mouth. Lillian slid her hands under Zuko's shirt and ran them across his smooth chest. Her finger's slid over the perfect muscle definition of his chest and stomach. Lillian found the bottom of Zuko's shirt and pulled it off of him roughly causing Zuko to stop and look at her. Lillian stared in Zuko's golden eyes that seemed so hungry stared at Lillian's swollen lips and watched her chest rise and fall as she caught her breath. Zuko slammed his lips onto Lillian's, without hesitation Lillian gave him access instantly. Zuko felt as his tongue fought for dominance against Lillian's. Zuko ran his hands down Lillian's sides to rest on her hips as Lillian pulled his head closer to her. Zuko couldn't contain himself any longer a released a deep lustful growl. Zuko untied Lillian's shirt and ripped it off, tossing it to the side as if it was a dirty rag, he then moved his hands down to her pants and had no patients to undo them, instead he burnt the stitches slightly and slid them off. Lillian felt embarrassed as Zuko stared at her as she laid below him in her light green bra and dark green underwear. The scar from the burn under her left breast was visible and Zuko gazed at it in loving manner, "What?" Lillian whispered breaking Zuko's train of thought, "Your scars are so beautiful."Zuko said as he leaned down and kissed Lillian's scar and then made his way up back to her lips. Before Zuko came close to Lillian's lips she turned her head and placed a kiss just below his eye on his scar, "Your's is a symbol of the love and passion you have for our nation. It symbolizes your bravery and compassion. Your strength and that you have no fear to fight for what you believe is right." Lillian whispered with a smile. Zuko's eyes widened at the way Lillian described his scar, "Your wrong..." Zuko snapped as he turned away his face away and frowned but Lillian cupped his face and made him look at her again, "No I'm not. I wouldn't just say those things without meaning them." Lillian said brushing her thumb over his scar. Zuko closed his eyes and felt as the tears form, "I know you Zuko... I know that you are an amazing person. You underestimate yourself but I know for a fact that you will be one of the greatest Fire Lord's in the history of the fire nation." Lillian whispered. Zuko gripped the blankets and felt his blood boil slightly at the mention of 'Fire Lord', "How could you possibly know that?" Zuko asked coldly and regretted it the moment Lillian's eyes filled with hurt, "I know because..." Lillian took a deep breath, "because I love you...and that's why I fell in love with you, for the person who you are..." Lillian said softly. Zuko's eyes softened, "Lilly..." Zuko said her name as if he would never say it again, "I've been in love with you for so long..." Zuko whispered as he kissed Lillian with all his desire and hunger. Zuko felt as Lillian removed his pants and then wrapped her legs around his waist. This is as far as they would go and they both accepted it for now since Uncle could be home soon.

Zuko felt that his anger had steamed away and was replaced by something he hasn't truly felt in a long, long time...
