My head aches. I manage to squeeze my eyes open.huh? "We're am i?" I mumble."your In the hospital." Says a voice I don't recognise."is everyone ok? I ask."yes,they are in the waiting room at the moment."  "Oh,ok" I say."my names  doctor bleakly and I will be informing you of your condition " says a tall blond haired man as he walks a few steps closer,clipboard in hand."you have third degree burns to your arms and legs"he says."i thought I just banged my head?"  I question."I'm sorry but because of this there is a chance... That you may be paralysed from the shoulders down.  ."  I am speechless.then I notice my backpack is still strapped to my back. "why didn't you take it off?" I ask."the burns on you back made it impossible to remove." He says.I didn't think it was that bad. "Your going to go in an operation in 1 hour to try and see what we can do so sit tight." He turns on the television and walks out. "Wait" I say before he is out of the cream door."yes?" He says."can you send in the others I want to talk to him." I say pleading."shaw,anything else" he asks."uh,what's the date?" I ask. "18th of August." He says."I've been. Asleep for like,a month!!" I question.

"Yeah,see yah " he says as he walks out.i lay in bed for a while.i haven't seen my little brother for a month,a month! I miss him so much,I wonder how much he has changed. I glance around the room.there is a white bedside table with a lamp on it.the lamp has a flower vase next to it and a box of chocolates. There is a chair beside my bed,it has a slight dip in the middle,like it's been sat on-mum I guess.the door opens.i look towards it.mum and dad comes in with my little brother."hey sweetie " mum says.i smile sadly."hey,I missed you buddy" I say as jake comes up to the bed."Kate " he smiles."how's Sirena?" I ask."she is good,she gave you the chocolates yesterday " mum says as she jesters to the box. "Ok" I say."so....what's been going on while I have been...asleep?"

I ask curiously."well we bought a new TV,that big flatscreen you and jake wanted,we installed that wi...wifi stuff,unlimited.and painted jakes room red." Dad says. "Oh yeah,sounds good,does the TV has Foxtel and YouTube?" I ask. "Yeah,we can't get enough of it " says dad. "Hey,what time is it?" I ask." 4:30 pm" mum says as she checks her watch."when can I come home.?" I ask. "Not for a while" dad says.then we say goodbye and there gone,just like that.*sigh..........................*
