I wait by the conveyer for my bag to come. I grab it strait away and mum pushes me down the ramp. I breath in the fresh air. We wait by the side for dad and jake. Dad emerges on his phone in one hand and holding jakes in the other."yes,thank you see you then,bye." Dad says into his cel as he approaches us."I called us a cab,honey" he says to mum. "Cool,let's go and get hot chips and wait by the road for it." I nod and dad pushes me this time. Mum gets the food and we wait by the rode for the cab.

In a few minutes the cab pulls up.it is yellow with a white roof."get in,free of charge" says the friendly taxi driver. i nod and we pile in. He puts my wheelchair in the boot and I sit in the back next to jake and mum. I put on some music and listen to it. I listen to the latest Taylor swift and shawn mends songs. I look out the window dad mutters something to the driver that I don't here because I turned the music up loud. Lots of people rush around in cars and on foot.

We pull up outside the hospital. I give dad a look when he gets out. I can't believe that he done this. He grabs the wheelchair from the boot and opens my door. I role my eyes and lift myself into it. He pushes me through the double doors of the hospital. A doctor greets us and takes me to a room.

When I get into the room a friendly looking doctor greets me. "Hello, Kate I am doctor treving, today we will check you over and give you some painkillers." I nod. He helps me into a chair and slowly looks over me. He stands up and says to me "well,you will have to wait 2 months until you can feel your legs again and you will have to make weekly visits to here. Wait a sec while I grab you some painkillers. " I nod again. My waist starts to sting.

The doctor comes up to me with a small container of painkillers. "Take two of these each 5 hours,come back when you need more." I take them and nod at him politely. He then says."wait there,I'm gonna get you a more comfortable wheelchair." I nod again. He disappears out of the room then reappears pushing a bigger wheelchair. He helps me into it and I notice it has feet rests at the bottom and a neck and butt pillow. I smile at him. Soon dad comes and gets me and we head home.
