My family is very odd.my dad works at an under- wear store and when it's my birthday I just get a bunch of undies. My mum is a photographer and takes a photo when ever I put something new on ,like a pair of shoes. my older brother tim works at the tip and brings home disgusting odd things.my younger brother jake is just useless-cause he's 4.  We live in a city called sun coast bay. So I am most surprised when mum and dad organise a camping trip. Probably cause we need to get  away.the only thing I am annoyed with is that I will be the only girl my age.So thankfully mum agrees when I ask if I can take my best friend Sirena along.

today is packing day and mum is over packing ,badly.all I pack is the clothes I need,my phone,toiletries and some emergency chocolate and fizzy drinks. Sirena will bring the plastic cups and make up. My brother tim is going on work experience at the new coffee cafe and won't be coming. jake is taking more matchbox cars then clothes-as usual. Soon Sirena gets here.she wears some track pants,a yellow shirt and a black leather jacket. at least it will be good to get out of the city for once. we all pile into the car then I realise that I forgot my charger so I say "hold on a minuet I forgot something" I race into the house before mum can lock it and grab my charger then I get my blue leather jacket so the rest of them don't think I went in just for a charger. I stuff the charger into the jacket pocket and put the jacket on as I run out the door. "Ready?" Says mum "yup" we all say.

.......We have been traveling in the car for an hour.
we are about to pass a shop when I ask "can we stop for an ice cream and a breather? " "what do you think?" Says mum to dad "yeah ok" dad replies. so we stop and all pile out. Dad goes and gets the ice creams so me and Sirena take the opportunity to check Facebook and check our text messages. "Only 2 bars " says Sirena "we better have reception there" I say. Dad comes back with the ice creams and jake finishes his in less then 60 seconds so he runs off to the play equipment and mum goes after him. dad gets a phone call so me and Sirena text the others who are at school-sucked in!😝
