25 June.
In a few days time we get a phone call from the hospital.the say that Sirena broke her left leg and fractured her right fist."she will be able to return to you in about 1 week." The doctor says while we are visiting her.most of the time I am visiting her is spent with drawing on her plaster cast. Eventually we take her back to camp with us and I think she has really missed it-being back at hospital must of been really boring."apparently dad caught a lobster for tea tonight "I think he brought it."sounds great"says Sirena.the doctor gave her a leg splint so she won't need to use her crouches very much."wanna go  up to the wifi,we probably each have had like a jillion  text messages by now" says Sirena. "Yeah ok" I reply. As we start towards the track.

We eventually get up to the wifi. I check my phone and  discover that I have had 50 text messages and 15 missed calls. I check my Facebook and then my Instagram accounts. "Do you smell that?" I ask "oh my god,look" Sirena says as she points down.I see smoke,too much."quickly, lets go" I say as Sirena and I run down the track towards the base camp.we full-on sprint to the camp."A BUSH FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!" I yell as we are soon coming to the bottom of camp. Mum and dad are sleeping.i grab my younger brother and put him in the car.while Sirena tries to take the tents down to give us more time."MUM,DAD WAKE UP" I yell as I shake there shoulders "ah" mum half yells as she wakes up.she takes one glance at the fire and jumps up."WERE IS JAKE!!!" she yells. "Relax he's in the car probably asleep " I say.

mum goes  to wake dad.i help Sirena into the car and then mum wakes dad and there in the car.dad goes in the back with Sirena and jake  while I sit in the passenger seat next to mum. She starts the car right up.and starts down the road.i look out the window.ahead is Another fire blocking half the road."go off track for a bit" I say.so we go left. I check my phone."half a bar.,keep going " I say.i need 2 bars to make a call.i look back.dad is comforting jake while Sirena is also checking her phone for bars.i look back down at mine "1 bar" I say out loud."stop here" I say as I spot a small shack.i get out and run to it.i knock on the door. No one comes out so I open the door.i spot a phone.i run to it and call'000 no reception. I race out of the door quickly "quickly keep going" I say to mum as I hop in the passenger seat. Mum keeps driving.we come to a falk in the road.
