He said that to me years ago, before he left me to die

So I suppose I should tell you, as the reader, that today is the last day, for everything. Life as we know it.

I've been trying to tell people, nobody believes me. Well, I guess they'll find out at 11:59 PM today. I guess that'd be too bad for them, then.

I'm the only one who knows the truth. I only know because I know that it's my fault. I won't sugar-coat it, if anyone reads this, they deserve to know the truth.

What he said, it was the last thing I ever heard from him. Just a few weeks later, he was never heard from again. Nobody knows how he died, to this day.

I don't care anymore, and I guess it wasn't his fault.
He didn't really have much of a choice in the matter, I guess.

I have to go.
Reader, wherever you are, know that it was my fault.
And if you're alive long enough to read this..
Please, don't make the same mistake I did.
