Alex slowly opened his eyes after falling unconscious from the ritual that had been performed.

As he awoke, he saw the bubble where Father stood however he was no longer visible as the bubble was entirely colored in with red energy.

Alex looked down to see that he, along with the others were no longer bound and tied up.

'He already has enough energy. This is our chance!' He thought.

Immediately, Alex ran to the others and began to wake them all up.

They all eventually did after a bit.

"Damn my head. What happened?" Asked Ed.

"We were used, as energy sources to open some gateway or something." Said Kunsil.

"Listen. Right now the bearded guy is in the bubble of energy over on the throne. We gotta get out of here now." Said Alex.

They all nodded and immediately began to run out of the hideout as they ran down the long corridor and exited it going back to the Tari ruins.

After getting lost for a bit navigating the ruins, they were able to backtrack to their entrance as they walked up back to the initial cave and climbed up back to the surface.

"You four go back to HQ! I gotta go warn the CPUs!" Shouted Kunsil as he shapeshifted into a crow and flew away.

The other four wasted no time as they ran to where to helicopter was and after informing the driver of the information, they boarded the aircraft and immediately began to fly back towards HQ.

After a few minutes, they all landed there and immediately ran in to see that any surviving members which were still plentiful had already been patched up and walked over to on or near the stage as walking towards them with supplies was actually Riza, who had survived the slash on her neck.

"Hawkeye!/Aunt Riza!" Shouted Roy and Alex.

Riza heard this and turned to see the four walk towards her as she ran up and hugged Roy and Alex tightly.

"T-Thank god you two are safe. What happened?" She asked.

"It's, too difficult to describe. Regardless we need to get out of here now." Said Roy.

"What? Why? What's going on?" Asked Riza.

Before Roy could even begin to answer her, another alarm went off.

"What the!?" Shouted Roy.

"I-Incoming! A giant-!" Began shouting a guard.

Before he could finish however, in an instinct second everything went white as a giant blast was heard.

Some kind of giant blast hit HQ as it blew up, destroying the building as everything collasped.

The sky also turned a dark color as smoke began to emerge from the destroyed remains of where HQ once stood.

Emerging from the rubble was Alex and Ed, who both saw Alphonse and managed to pull him out.

Before the three could find any other survivors, they all felt a presence behind them as they turned to see that sitting across from them, on a single piece of debris, was Father, who looked, different

"Well, what do ya think? Pretty nice. Don't you three think so?" Asked Father.

"Is that, supposed to be the bearded guy?" Asked Edward.

"It seems like it, but, why'd he change appearance?" Asked Alex.

"Why? Oh it's simple really. You all did well, my faithful sacrifices. I acquired god." Said Father.

"Acquire god!? Like hell that's impossible!" Said Edward.

"Are you sure?" Asked Alex. "Remember he needed tons of energy to open the gateway of the planet."

"Tons of energy? But then that would mean....." trailed off Alphonse until Edward gasped in horror.

"A Philosopher's Stone!? That can't be real!" Shouted Edward.

"H-How many lives were sacrificed for this?" Asked Alphonse as Alex grunted.

"Gamindustri is a huge continent. At least 50 million people, including the CPUs and our former allies." Said Alex as the two gasped in shock.

"Bastard!" Shouted Ed as he was about to transmute until Father simply tapped a finger sending a massive shockwave at them immediately canceling Edward's transmutation.

"What the!?"

"Your alchemy will do you no good here. Farewell, gentlemen." Said Father, as he summoned a bright orb in his hand

"What the, hell is that?" Asked Alex.

"The power of god is now in my control. With that I can do anything. For instance I can create a sun right in the palm of my hand." Replied Father. "Shall I turn its flame loose?"

The three were still in fear until Alex noticed something.

A very faint, red mist like barrier surrounding Father.

'I get it now. The souls from all the Philosopher Stone's are giving him a protective barrier. He must've nullified our use of Alchemy to avoid having it shattered.' Thought Alex.

"Ed. Al. Distract him for a bit. Please." Said Alex as he closed his eyes.

"Truth, let me tap into your power for just a moment." Asked Alex to Truth.

Without an answer, Alex was granted his request.

Ed and Al charged at Father, dodging the flames from the mini sun Father had formed and began to attempt to punch and kick him.

Alex noticed that Father would drop his barrier for hand to hand combat and knew that it was only meant for stronger attacks.

As the two continued to occupy father, Alex channeled the little power of Truth he received and put all of it into coating the Buster Sword in the most potent, powerful flames he could manage.

Once it was ready, Alex began to dash forward as fast as he could.

"Now!" He shouted.

Ed and Al nodded and grabbed Father's arms as they managed to throw him towards Alex.

Father immediately broight his shield up as Alex's flamed Buster Sword made contact with the barrier.

To Father's suprise his barrier broke as Alex, Ed, and Al immediately backed away.

Father began to convulge and groan in agony until he looked up, as a giant red sea of soul like entities bursted out of him as the three looked up to see the red collection of souls all go in separate directions in the sky until they were all out of view.

Father continued to groan as red sparks surrounded him.

"Well, did it work?" Asked Edward.

"Seems like it. Everyone in Gamindustri have had their souls return back to their bodies." Said Alex. "With what power he has left, I'm positive he won't be able to control the power he calls God as well as he used to."

Father struggled to get up as he glared at Alex.

"You fool! You think I'm done!? I could, always create another stone! I am, not through! There are more! A BILLION HUMANS I CAN DRAW ENERGY FROM!" Shouted Father as he launched a purple orb at Alex.

He blocked it with the sword and launched it up to the sky as the attack dispersed in the way.

Father saw this and sighed as he sat down. "Are you really defying me now?" He asked.

"Yep. We're all kinds of stubborn." Proudly said Edward.

"I see. Well, I'm thankful for that, because now, I know what I must do." Said Father as he stood up, staring down the three men. "I will shred this world down, to itself last atom, and then, after I regain back all the souls you took from me, I'll destroy god, and end the human race to begin a new, superior race. A new race that knows not what it has lost, but only what it has been given. A grateful race." Said Father.

The three Alchemists surrounded Father, as Al got into a fighting stance, Ed brought out his automail blade, and Alex held the buster sword in front of him.

"Yeah. A greateful race born out of blood." Said Alex causing Father to chuckle.

"They'll never know it, because you all won't be alive to tell them." Said Father.
