Chapter 59: Invasive

[Location: England]

It was a relatively quiet day as usual for Otto Apocalypse as he simply sat in his main office within Schicksal Headquarters.

Weeks had passed since he helped Alex and the Hyperion Valks take down and escape from Kevin's false reality.

Many of Schicksal's workers had asked Otto about why he had overslept for so long prompting him to respond by saying it was a lack of sleep.

That led Otto to figure out that aside from them, no one else had any info about the false reality and they just treated it as if he just slept for a long time.

Regardless, Otto got used to daily life shortly afterwards.

He was currently sipping his cup of coffee while staring out the window enjoying the view that England gave him.

As he waa enjoying himself, there was a knock on his door as he lowered his coffee mug.

"Enter." He said.

The door opened and entering the room was Schicksal's strongest Valkyrie, Bianca Ataegina, who preferred being called by her alias, Durandal.

"Ah Durandal. Glad to see you've made it back." Said Otto with a smile on his face.

"It's a pleasure being back sir." Said Durandal as she bowed.

"Any intresting things you picked up recently?" Asked Otto.

"Yes, although, all the news I've gathered has come from Gamindustri."

This piqued Otto's interest as he raised his head.

"Oh does it now? Very well. Inform me then." He said.

"To put it shortly, in the past few days, Black Ops HQ has gotten into two major incidents. One where they shot down and killed Black Jack employees, and another where they critically injured a Hyperion Valkyrie. Cause of both incidents, this has caused their trio alliance pact to end." Said Durandal.

As Otto heard all this, he began to ponder.

'Well this is definitely odd. I wouldn't expect that kid's group to suddenly go insane. Especially after all that had happened recently. No. I'm confident that this isn't their own doing. Someone else is pulling the strings and framing them for their actions. Regardless, that specific part has nothing to do with me.' Thought Otto with a smirk as he leaned back on his chair.

"So that means the Hyperion is back on its own again? How mostly unexpected. And extrmely lucky for us." He said.

"Sir. Are you still wanting to bring the Hyperion back under Schicksal rule?" Asked Durandal.

"Think about it. After having one of their own be critically injured by a group they trusted, they'd immediately wanna run away to safety. That's where I'll lure them back in. After all I would never hurt any of my Valkyries." Said Otto.

"I see. Well, I hope the best for you sir."

"I thank you Durandal. Anyways, mind giving me a report of the current Honkai numbers?"

"Yes sir. My squad have managed to drive them back even further as well as taking down a majority of Honkai Beasts. It's safe to say we're safe for a while now." Said Durandal.

"Excellent job Durandal." Replied Otto.

"Yes. Very good Ms. Durandal. May I ask my own question?"

A third voice suddenly spoke out as Otto and Durandal looked and saw that somehow, someway, Father stood at the doorway with a smile on his face.

Both were obviously confused but they definitely felt an ominous aura around Father.

"Overseer Otto please stand back!" Shouted Durandal.

Before she could even pull her summon though, Father extended his hand out and swiped it to the left as Durandal suddenly felt herself get picked up and then pinned against the wall by an unknown force.

"Hey! Just what are yo-!" Before Otto could finished speaking, Father grabbed him tightly by the face and pinned him against the wall.

Both Otto and Durandal were now stuck and unable to move as with a swipe down of his hand, Father slammed Durandal into the ground with the unknown force and then applied the pressure to keep her pinned as he turned his attention back to Otto.

"My my. It's such an honor to meet the highly esteemed Overseer of Schicksal. You must be Otto Apocalypse correct?" Asked Father.

"S-So what if I am!? Just who the hell are you!?" Shouted Otto.

"Me? I'm no one special. You may refer to me as Father." Replied Father.

Otto continued to struggle to break free until he noticed his hair and eyes.

"B-Blonde hair and, golden e-eyes. You must be, the last remaining Xersian left." Said Otto.

Father heard this and simply laughed before eventually stopping.

"I'm impressed. Your knowledge know no bounds. Unfortunately my past isn't the issue of the matter here. One of you two, answer my question. Where can I find the nearest batch of Honkai Beasts. I intend to acquire them as allies." Said Father as he looked at both Otto and Durandal for an answer.

Durandal refused to answer as Otto merely scoffed.

"You think we'll talk? Unlikely. Go ahead and kill me. Everyone of my Valks will be after you." Said a confident Otto.

Father looked at him before sighing.

"Most people wouldn't be so confident about accepting death. No worries. I'll just simply leave you here and kill all your valks one by one, effectively ending your plans to revive your loved one." He said.

"H-How'd you...."

"How'd I know? I'm simply far beyond your comprehension of understanding Otto Apocalypse. Now, tell me where the Honkai or pay the consequences."

Otto continied to struggle, refusing to answer.

Unfortunately there was nothing he could do as he slowly lost consciousness.

"Go to the outskirts of the city! Go to the grasslands and field! That's where you'll find them!" Shouted Durandal.

Cause of thar, Father had let go of Otto as he slumped to the ground.

"I thank you for the information. Farewell then." Said Father with a smile as he stepped out of Otto's office.

[Later that day. Location: Lastation]

The sun had begun to set as Alex spent his afternoon just chatting with the Elric brothers about what had been happening recently with the attacks and stuff.

The three obviously knew that they had to do something about it and find the culprit but as of now, couldn't do anything until they got info.

So for now they were just gonna keep quiet.

Alex just sat on the couch watching TV just trying to keep him awake as he was pretty tired as they had chatted for a long time.

It also didn't help that he was home alone cause Akari had been busy elsewhere.

That all changed though when he heard a knock at the entrance door.

"Who is it?" Asked Alex.

"It's me. Kunsil. Mind letting me in?"
