A new day had arrived upon Gamindustri.

The morning sun was rising and has bright as ever as the night was over.

Birds were chirping as nature was coming back to life.

A yawn was heard from one of the trees as a short, young boy sat up and rubbed their eyes before being fully awake.

This boy, wasn't Alex however.

It was instead a certain blonde haired male with a red coat.

His name is Edward Elric. A very popular figure known by his nickname, The FullMetal Alchemist.

Ed took a couple of stretches before looking around for something.

Eventually he found what he was looking for as he walked up to a giant suit of armor sitting against a tree.

"Hey Al. Wake up it's time to go." Said Edward.

The suit of armor seemingly stood up and nodded.

The armor was actually Edward's little brother, Alphonse Elric.

With the brothers now awake they walked out of the forest and were making their way to Black Ops HQ.

It had been a while since the brothers had gotten involved in any major events.

It had been months already since the attack on HQ.

So all this time after the attack, the brothers had spent their time getting back to accomplishing their main goal of finding a Philosopher's Stone.

The brothers had been able to travel to many exotic places thanks to their quest and even had helped out other countries as well.

Most notably stopping a false priest from spreading his fake prophesies and beliefs all over a country.

All of these actions had garnered the Elric Brothers, especially Edward, a lot of notoriety and positive popularity.

Even with that the two had a very small inner circle and few friends.

Obviously they had many acquaintances at HQ however only 3 of them were friends with 1 being a genuine close friend.

There was obvious the 3 friends they interacted with the most, the buff beefcake Alex Louis Armstrong, the snarp and excellent marksman Riza Hawkeye, and obviously the man in charge of HQ, Roy Mustang.

The one close friend they had was obvious non other than Alex Mustang.

The brothers had met Alex when all three were at a young age.

Ed was 13, Al was 12, and Alex was 10 when they all first met each other at HQ.

As they were all kids, they all obviously got along well and even more so when the brothers had heard that Alex himself was also an orphan at the time which had strengthened their bond even more.

It also came at a time when they all desperately had needed some companionship as Alex has just returned from his service at the Ishvalan War of Extermination and Ed and Al had just went through two grueling and horrific experiences with a certain chimera based state alchemist and a certain insane butcher.

So for 3 years their bond had became practically unbreakable.

In fact it still confused the brothers as to why Alex was seen in such a negative light as he has done as much good, if not even more than the brothers themselves.

After a nice walk through the wildlife and forest, the brothers had arrived at HQ and noticed a crowd had formed at the food court.

This obviously caught their interest so they walked over to see what was catching everyone's attention.

When they made it to the front of the crowd they saw Alex chuckling as girl was shyly hiding behind him.

Thankfully she was able to calm down as Alex and the Elrics were able to get the crowd to disperse to go back to their daily lives.

"Thanks you two. It was getting a little too much for her too handle." Said Alex.

Al nooded. "No problem. We were glad to help." He said.

"Speaking of her, who is she Alex?" Asked Edward.

"Oh right. Ed and Al, meet my big sis Akame Satsuki. Sis, these are my two closest friends at HQ. The blonde one is the FullMetal Alchemist, Edward Elric. The one in the suit of armor is his little brother, Alphonse Elric." Said Alex.

"Sup!" Said Ed as Al simply said hi.

Akame slowly stepped out from beind Alex and bowed.

"N-Nice to meet you two. It's an h-honor to meet two of my little brother's c-closest friends." Said Akame as she did a quick bow.

"Hey no need to be so formal. We're all cool here." Casually said Ed to assure that no one was above each other here.

Akame nodded with a sigh of relief as Alex chuckled.

"I didn't know you had a sibling at all Alex." Said Alphonse with Ed nodding in agreement.

"Well, neither did I until a few days ago. Anyways, I brought her here so she could see Uncle Roy for the first time in a while." Said Alex.

The two brothers nodded and were prepared to do their own thing until suddenly someone caught all four of their attention.

"Elrics and Ale-. A-Akame?" Said Riza who got shocked at the end after seeing Akame for the first time in years.

"Aunt Riza. I-It's great to see you again." Said Akame as the two shared a quick hug.

Riza then cleared her throat to get back on topic.

"Anywas, you three boys. Führer Mustang has ordered you all to his office for an urgent meeting. Akame if you'd like then I suggest going with them so you can see your Uncle Roy again." Said Riza.

Akame nodded as Riza had walked off.

With that being said, the group of four all walked over to the Führer's office.

A couple of knocks later and they were allowed to walk in.

Roy saw the boys walk in and was about to tell them to take a seat until he suddenly jumped out of his seat as he saw Akame.

"A-Akame!? What the!? H-How!?" Said a shocked Roy as Alex and Akame both chuckled.

"It's a long story." Said the siblings.

"Well hopefully I get that story sooner rather than later." Said Roy as he sat back down telling the others to sit as as well which they did.

"Anyways onto what I wanted to discuss, if you remember from the HQ raid months ago, you all were able to kill 5 of the 7 Homunculi. Lust, Gluttony, Envy, Pride, and then Wrath. That left two remaining, Greed and Sloth. Recently we've gotten reports on both of them. Turns out we've pin pointed Greed's location. We just need someone to go after him before it eventually moves again. As for Sloth, it's been reported that a mysterious figure has been constantly appearing in tunnels at night. According to my guesses, I would like to assume it's Sloth. Obviously I need someone to go investigate that as well." Said Roy.

The three boys took in all that info and were about to discuss who did what until Roy stopped them.

"No need to decide who does what. I've already done it myself. I'm gonna have Alex handle Greed and will have the Elrics take care of Sloth. Any objections?"

The brothers didn't have any but shockingly Akame raised her hand.

"Hm? What is it Akame?" Asked Roy.

"I-I'd like to help and work together with my brother in his case." Said Akame.

"Are you sure? I don't wanna have you involved in something that doesn't recquire your concern." Said Roy but Alex was all for it.

"Don't worry Roy. She can definitely handle herself. Let her help." He said.

"Alright then. For a final say, Edward and Alphonse will be in charge of Sloth while Alex and Akame are in charge of Greed. Any objections?" Said Roy.

No one had any and agreed.

"Very well then. Good luck you all. Dismissed." He said as the four left the office."

The four turned to face each other as Alex and Ed shook each other's hand.

"Good luck." Said both of them to the other.
