"Hey listen, I gotta apologise for that night" Miguel croaked.

As (Y/N) was headed over to her locker, he caught her in the moment, following her around like a lost puppy. She ran a few errands before class - returning library books, replacing them with the ones she needed for her classes.

When she made it to the library, Miguel was still following her around. In an attempt to avoid him, hoping he would eventually leave her alone, she hadn't spoken a single word for that moment.

For no one could know her boyfriend's affiliation with Terry. The most dangerous and corrupted billionaire that could cease to exist. He could just about take anyone under his wing. But once you were there, you couldn't leave... Even if you wanted to.

"Miguel, it's fine" she reassured, locking her eyes with his. "I was caught up in the moment and it shouldn't have happened, ok?"

According to her watch, there was only another five minutes left until students made it to their next classes and eventually settled, ready to begin.

"I'll see you after class?" he asked.

(Y/N) gestured with a thumbs up, zooming over to the room on the far end of the corridor. That was where her class was taking place. Among the crowds, she pushed past to secure the best spot possible.

After class, (Y/N) dragged her friend by the arm, heading over to the computer lab where they would hangout every now and then. Having been on their teacher's good side scored them benefits such as hanging out where no one else would be.

"I need to break up with Xander" (Y/N) blurted, unexpectedly.

"Is that why you've been like that for the past week?" Luna asked with a frown on her face. "Did he do something to you?"

Looking around, hoping no one would walk in on them, (Y/N) pulled out the photo she had found when she paid a visit to Terry's dojo.

"I don't know if that's what Terry looks like. But I know the man next to him is my dad. " she admitted, pointing to each of the faces and identifying them by name. "And if I introduce myself to him as his daughter and not Sparrow... then I could be in a big mess"

"I really wish you would stop looking for him. It's costing you" Luna interrupted, hoping not to overstep any boundaries or aggravate her friend in the heat of the moment.

As harsh and honest as she was, (Y/N) felt hurt, knowing her friend wasn't supporting her during a time of need. It was all understandable that she was simply looking out for her, as a friend. But this was extremely important to her. Leaving situations ambiguous was not (Y/N)'s cup of tea.

After a long pause, (Y/N) pursed and pouted, clicking her tongue, ready to admit what happened during that week. And the events which took place.

"Luna... Xander is Terry's son" she whispered, looking down at her hands. "But you cannot tell anyone"

"No I don't believe you" Luna laughed, until she took another look at her friend's expressionless face. "oh... you're not joking. So how did you know?"

As she adjusted her seat, (Y/N) moved closer to Luna, slightly pushing their lunches away so she could rest her arm up on a desk. Luna did the same, intrigued to hear what she had to say.

"Xander Stone-Silver. He never spoke of his dad when I was with him..." (Y/N) paused straight away after the first few words. "We had a heated argument at the All Valley when he won one of the championships. It was about him having no mercy. His speech on not being violent... that was all a lie."

"What more can you find out about this Terry Silver? (Y/N)--" Luna responded until she paused to pull her lunchbox forward before speaking again. "What else did you find?"

"I saw files. People who he's trained, dug up some dirt on them. Top secret files... It was all to much for me to take in" (Y/N) explained, using hand gestures to get her point across.

"Any familiar names or faces?" Luna asked, intrigued.

This was a particular strategy she used to get answers out of anyone. The reason it worked? It enabled (Y/N) to dig deeper into her memory, replaying that event over and over again. Although she didn't have the best memory, (Y/N) was able to recall major details and sometimes minor details which lived at the back of her mind.

"I saw an article on his desk..." she recalled as her attention was diverted away from Luna.

"Did you see a name? A face? A highlight? Anything"

"It was a picture of a boy in white gi and was holding a trophy---"

"Ok what year? There are many championship winners every year and anyone could be wearing a white gi" Luna interjected.

"Wait. It was 1980 something" (Y/N) blurted.

She turned to the computer immediately as her friend scooted next to her. (Y/N) managed to tap into her memory after answering Luna's endless amounts of questions she badgered her with. Although it was annoying, it was one of the few strategies which had helped her open up... as well as dig more dirt - in this case.

"What are you doing?" Luna questioned, skeptically staring at the screen as multiple webpages were opened.

"Looking up all the championship winners from the 1980s. Reading about them" (Y/N) responded.

Luna peeped at her watch, anxious as the bell was about to ring. She packed up her things, ready to head to her next class while she simultaneously watched (Y/N) pull up a list of winners from the 1980s.

"Oh look Xander's on it too!" she exclaimed.

"Luna, be serious for a minute" (Y/N) urged, scrolling further down until she came across a short list of names. "Wait... LaRusso. That name sounds familiar."

(Y/N) kept the name in her mind, hoping to gather if any one was related to a Daniel LaRusso. She didn't know everyone too well but agreed to go to any extent to get as much information as she couldn

"Hey do you know any LaRusso's around?" she asked.

"I don't know any more than you do. My cousin Moon's popular so she can ask around for you!" Luna offered as an alternative. "I seriously don't know why she's with the wrong crowd"

"You never told me Moon was your cousin" (Y/N) debated, wondering what else she knew or didn't know about her friend.

"You never asked." Luna chuckled.

Without another word, (Y/N) hugged her friend and kissed her on the temple, simultaneously as the bell expressed it's calling. With something to work with, she was hopeful it would all lead to finding her father. Content, the girls logged off, locked up and headed to their classes for the rest of the day.
